I have used the Home Service Plan of Ohio for well over one year now. When I purchased my home from the seller in June 2019, I was provided a one year warranty. I was so happy with the service I received from HSP that I decided to renew for another year and will probably continue to do so as my home is an older one. I recently had service performed at my home by one of their first rate plumbers. He replaced my 2 exterior hose connections. He was professional, efficient, and personable. I commend HSP for selecting contractors of this quality. I have spoken at length with the co-owner Mindy. I found her to be professional, courteous, and concerned about her customers. From what I understand, they are the only Home Warranty Company in Central Ohio. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for such coverage for their home.

We moved in to our new home at the beginning of July. We had some A/C and plumbing issues as soon as we moved in and prior to receiving our welcome packet. HSP worked with us after the fact to resolve some of the out of pocket expenses we had as well as getting a plumber out to help with a separate issue afterward. We love the home and are now experiencing our third plumbing issue and have already been in contact with HSP and feel confident they’ll be able to help us resolve it. Issues in new homes are extremely stressful, but once we began working with HSP some of that stress was alleviated knowing that we could rely on them to help us solve our problems. We’re grateful to our realtor for negotiating a home warranty in to the purchase of our home because without HSP, our expenses would be out of control within the first month of owning a new home.

Is the warranty the best or one of the best offers in the industry? Yes. But more importantly a warranty is only as good as the people involved and I trust their team fully with any and all of my clients that need recommendations for home warranties.

So many people don’t realize how important a great home warranty program is. I know for a fact HSP Home warranty has your back when appliances are not working correctly.They are honest about the repairs needed

On a Sunday in October (it’s still so hot) our AC went out. I placed a claim before 9 AM and in less than eight hours my AC was back up and running. Within 10 minutes, I received texts and emails acknowledging the receipt of the claim and making me feel extremely important. They set proper expectations with it being a Sunday, but said they love challenges and would do their best to take care of our issue with an unseasonable 85° day. My AC was back up and running by 4 PM with incredible service from their provider that they work with. In 2025, I am truly blown away by the communication, attention to detail and level of service that I received today. I cannot recommend them and their team enough!!
