These guys are great! We lost half of our electricity yesterday afternoon. Sam and Mason came out. While testing, they found out the problem was more then they could fix yesterday. They got our power safely back on for the night, and Mason was here today by 8:30am and put in a new electrical panel. I cannot thank them enough for their prompt response time and how helpful they were. I highly recommend Scotchman Electric. Don't hesitate to call them.
I did not answer the questions regarding price because we haven't received the invoice yet.

Had a few issues at our business on separate occasions and these guys got us fixed right up!

Scotchman Electric did a fantastic job from start to finish. I needed a new line coming in and a new panel- I also wanted some basement lighting put in. They were professional, efficient, well-priced, and were able to get all that work done in just one day. I'm very happy with the work.

These guys are the best. Solved my exterior GFI outlet problem quickly. Top notch service.

They get the job done. Dependable and great to work with. Many late nights working to get power back on in plant. Always helpful in new installs or upgrading of old equipment. Even referred to people to do installs at their homes with great work.

They kept in constant communication with progress and any issues that came up with my project (126 yr old house with knob and tube). Professional, respectful, personable crew. Any further electrical needs I may need, I'm definitely calling them!

Scott and his team operate at a level most electricians simply can’t touch. I throw complex, high-volume work at them on aggressive timelines, and they execute without excuses, delays, or hand-holding. The skill across the entire crew is obvious, communication is immediate, and results are exactly what you expect when professionals actually know what they’re doing. I don’t write reviews period but this one is non-negotiable. Competent electricians are rare. A team that can handle nonstop work spread across Ohio without missing a beat is even rarer. Scott’s crew delivers every single time!!!

They responded very quickly to my request. They were very knowledgeable and informative about my issues. They worked through an absolute blizzard to fix my problems without any hesitation. I am very happy with this company and would gladly refer them to friends and family.

I wish I could give this company 10 stars! The electricians were absolutely outstanding...technically skilled, professional, friendly, efficient, kind and willing to answer any and all of my questions. They were on time, worked well as a team and were meticulous in clean up. At the end of the day, I asked about a side porch light and a a problem with the socket was identified. They troubleshooted, identified the issue and designed a new cover (the previous one was original to the house), and came back to install it a couple weeks later. It is perfect.
I highly recommend Scotchman Electric to anyone in need of quality electrical work. From the initial assessment of the jobs, quotes and finished product, the process was seamless. In addition to the job above, I had a new solar LED security light replaced, upgraded breaker box panel, converted fluorescent tubes to LED in bathroom and replacement of front porch LED with new glass cover. The charge for all of the work that was done, was very reasonable. We are so fortunate to have this company in Portage County.

Mason and Brekin are pros. I’ve got an old house, full of surprises, and they diligently worked through each challenge. They worked extremely well together, and they both kept me informed and when there was a decision to make they explained my options clearly. They kept the work space organized and cleaned up everything when completed. I trust these guys, I recommend them, and I will have them back to do more work at my home.

Scotchman Electric cost my business money by poor communication and cancelling 2 appointments.

This company can not make appointments more than 2 days prior to an appointment time. The morning of my first appointment, they called to cancel and it was understandable.

It took 2 and a half weeks to finally get another appointment after calling and emailing and not getting a response, or getting a response 3 days later but with no new information other then they had to check with someone else.

Finally the office manager promised an appointment Monday first thing after I had to ask if they just didn't want my business. I stuck with them because I already waited 3 plus weeks and I would have to wait for another company so I took a chance.

15 minutes before my appointment, they cancel due to an emergency. The emergency? To put concessions in a high school for a 5 day job. I ask for someone above the office manager to call me as that was unacceptable. 5 days later and no call.

I do NOT recommend this mismanaged and disrespectful company.
