Today was the second time we have used Davey Tree at our home, even though they do quite a lot of tree work for our community. They are 5 star plus! Always courteous, efficient, professional, safe with tree climbing and using equipment, always cleaning up afterwards. Today they took down a dead river birch very close to our home, probably 35 feet tall, did a beautiful job. They trimmed back an intrusive tree out front and took dead wood out of another tree. The price was competitive and fair. We highly recommend Davey Tree of Cincinnati and will use them again when the need arises. Thank you guys!

Incredible job! Davey Tree was able to remove stumps from our very small fenced lot after many other companies had told us no. The entire process and communication from the estimate to the finished product could not have been more professional or a better experience. Highly recommend!

Had a branch from an oak tree come down an they came gave me a competitive bid along with their insurance information. They came and removed my brand and took down the rest of the decade tree

Thomas Weidner a licensed arborist, came out to review our lot and determined what we needed. We knew one tree had to be removed due to bug infestation damage but when Tom got out of his truck, he pointed out the damage to another tree with the same issue.
All of our trees were 45 to 50 years old and very large.
We had two trees removed and three others trimmed that were getting close to our home.

The three men who performed the cutting, trimming and chipper work were very professional, friendly and after the cleanup work you wouldn’t know they had been here.
The same applied to the man who performed the stump grinding a few days later.

When I called the office, I was always able to speak to a live person – not an answering machine. I was very pleased with such great customer service – would highly recommend them and will definitely use Davey Tree again.

Hiring a contractor is always nerve-wracking for me as I don't have any frames of reference to gauge their quality, reliability or honesty. Jackson at Davey Tree immediately put me at ease, by explaining what he was seeing and teaching me what to look for. In fact, he told me my concerns were unfounded and left without a sale... until I called him back several months later. This time I did want work done and he took excellent care of me. The quote was well below another opportunistic one I received and the guys who did the work were respectful and very competent. Jackson and Davey Tree are my people now and I recommend them without reservation.

Been having Davey Tree out for a few years now (Davey Tree was recommended by my Garden Center where I purchase my trees, bushes and mulch). Josh (Sales Arborist) has always been there for me to give direction for trees/plants in the yard. Can always count on Josh to give honest/straight forward insight. I now have an annual fertilizing plan for bushes and tress. Does make a difference! Had Chaze, Patrick & Dillon out today to trim Bradford Pear, Cable Lrg. maple and take lower canopy off 3 maples in backyard. They arrived on time, worked with me to address the items and left the yard as they found it. All debris cleaned up. Have had Frank out for magnesium injections with the same attention to detail. My guess is other neighbors have the same results as I see Davey Tree in the neighbor from time to time. Thank you Davey Tree!

3 Words describe Davey Tree and their Employees: Professional, Knowledgeable and Honest. In 2022 they trimmed 3 Magnolia trees in a very tight location. Did a great job with perfect clean up. The same year I asked them to trim 2 large sugar maples. Joe S. told me only one needed to be trimmed. Again, great clean up. In 2023 Joe looked at a Magnolia that I thought was dead. He said it would come back and didn't need to be replaced. He was right! It is leafing out. Great company! Great people!

Free evaluation by a knowledgeable arborist who named every species on sight, outstanding customer service with plenty of options, and fast results. We had to have a small stand of trees cut down due to emerald ash borer. They fit us in quickly between other work, treated and saved our healthy ash trees, and took safety and cleanup seriously. Very affordable: about $2000 to remove trees in one area in the spring, but they have discounts during winter if you want an even better deal.

They did a great job clearing away a large pile of cut brush on my property. They did damage a gutter drain pipe and some siding, but they quickly reported what happened and told me what they were doing to fix it. The gutter was fixed in two days, and the siding was replaced in five. Accidents happen, and they did a great job in fixing it. I'd use their services again in the future.

The arborist from Davey arrived at the house on time and along with me, surveyed what needed to be done. Within about 1 week I received the quote for tree maintenance and pruning. Davey also has a contract with me to supply periodic nutrients to the trees. Two months later, per contract, the Davey staff arrived and completed the project. Everything was done in a professional manner. All debris was removed. A truly excellent experience.

Davey has always done excellent work for us at a fair price, and the most recent job was no exception. They responded quickly to the need to trim and prune our 50-foot old pin oak, and they did an incredible job with this "haircut", making our beloved tree look refreshed and beautiful again. I’ve had Davey Tree do various work on my trees, and have always found them to be responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. This time, they cut down a tree, cut back brush overgrowth, and trim some trees into shape. I recommend them and will continue to use their services. Taking down big trees is a scary thing. The crews we have had service our trees over the years from Davey have always been top shelf. Just recently we needed a few large trees taken down. The crew of 2 guys dropped them with surgical precision. It was amazing to watch. I highly recommend Davey for the most professional services

We were very happy with Davies Tree, starting with Joe shields, the arborist and consultant. He was very willing to revise proposals to customize down to the detail our needs. He even showed up at the installation of the project project!

Charles the technician who fell the trees was a perfect example of the old work ethic that that I recall in our country in the past .Not often seen today a 30 year veteran!! You almost had to tell him to slow down because he was so effective and worked so hard to fell the trees!

Last the planters of the new trees name was Fred and Devon who were very conscientious, knowledgeable and allowed us to interject comments , requests in order to meet our discriminating request .

I highly suggest Davies Tree‘s to anyone who wants a conscientious, knowledgeable, skillful, and good value service!

Davey Tree is our "go-to" team for help with landscaping - shrubs and trees and lawn fertilization. When there is an issue, they are very prompt to respond, including on-site at our home to take a first hand look at the problem. Our latest issue is some sick blue spruces; DT came out within 2 days and spent time analyzing all our trees, telling me what was happening and how to address it. I highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience with Davey Tree. They were able to trim 5 trees and remove a dead tree from my property at a very reasonable cost. I am also having them treat the trees on my property to save one, and am setting the trees up to be fed on a schedule that they recommended to make sure that they stay healthy. I would definitely recommend this company, and will be doing business with them in the future. The are very knowledgeable about trees, and have taken great care to make sure that my property is looking its best!

Excellent prep meeting with certified arborist. Quote was very clear and detailed. Work crew showed up on time and was pleasant to work with. No damage done to surrounding trees/structure. Both the certified arborists and work crew answered all questions and gave suggestions.

The crew from Davey provided wonderful service in pruning and trimming several large trees whose location required lots of climbing; as location precludes heavy equipment. I would definitely recommend without reservation.

I just bought a new home with a massive oak tree in the back. The tree looked healthy but there were some dead branches. I called Davey Tree Expert Company to come out have a look. An appointment was made for a few days after I called. Anthony came out and was astonished at the size of the oak. We walked around the property and discussed the many trees and shrubs and plans. That evening he sent me two different plans with clear pricing and services listed. I signed the contract and was told they'd be out in about a month (book up til then) to do the tree trimming. About a month later I was contacted with a time and date. I was at work but when I came home, the large oak had been trimmed and several trees cut down as asked. A few days later the tree was treated according to the seasonal maintenance plan I had chosen. The branches from the oak were piled neatly in a corner of the yard as discussed. I really appreciate the time Anthony took to explain the different plans and what could be done to keep this gigantic oak tree in good health. All the people who came over in the three separate trips were prompt and considerate. I really appreciated that the two days I was not home, they made sure to close the gate access to the back yard. The pricing was fair for the work done.

Recently, I had Davey tree services contracted to plant several shrubs in my back yard. I have used their services before and they were amazingly expert at what they did. My most recent experience was affirmation that they are true professionals. The employee, Patrick, took great care to meticulously plant my shrubs in a compositional manner and was very convivial and accommodating. Great business and highly recommended.
