All reviews for Olmsted Electric

Excellent work at an excellent value. I had a few bathroom light fixtures and switches/outlets replaced, and I could not be any happier with the experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Olmsted Electric to anyone looking for an electrician.

Absolutely amazing! This man is A-1 one of the best!
From start to finish his work was "impeccable". He upgraded our electrical to 200 amp's and installed a new breaker box with additional breakers because our previous one was overloaded to its
max. He also switched out old exterior lighting fixtures to new ones, installed new outlets in new locations throughout our home and various other upgrades. He pulled the permits, changed everything out, informed us the
whole time as to what he was doing &
"when and for how long" we would be without our electricity. When the job was completed, he cleaned up every little "speck"! I've never had such amazing service in my life!

Had a wonderful experience. This was our first time calling around for an electrician and we are so glad we chose Olmsted Electric. He was on time and very professional. We were starting to worry about our circuit panel and he checked it out and eased our worries by giving a detailed explanation. Would recommend 100%

Alan was very quick to respond to my request. He repaired some storm damage to my exterior electrical mast and connections on short notice, with good quality work. Would recommend!

Alan was awesome - very friendly and accommodating, and the work was completed quickly. He went the extra mile to go and get matching outlet and switch plates for us to match them with the rest of our home! Incredible work. 👍

IAlan installed a 240 volt line for a new electric range we had purchased. He also replaced a light fixture in the basment which had broken. He was very efficient and did excellent work. He cleaned up everything when he was done. He charged a fair price, he was on time and he was very friendly.

Allen was completely professional. He arrived exactly on time each day. He replaced an entire panel for us in a matter of hours. He does beautiful work and you couldn’t even tell he was here when he was done. Complete PRO Great customer service!

Great experience. At job quote meeting, Alan clarified what electrical work needed updated. He checked in throughout the project to ensure the end result is what I wanted. Then walked me through all of the work when completed. Highly recommend!

Alan responded very quickly to my request and was even able to help me out the same day. He was honest and knowledgeable, and even left me some extra screws for some of my other outlets. I would highly recommend Alan and Olmsted Electric.

Alan from Olmsted Electric installed kitchen lighting (8 canned lights and 3 pendants) on January 30, 2023 at my house in Elyria. This also required reconfiguring electrical boxes, wire and fixture installation. I highly recommend Alan. He was courteous, hardworking, and focused. I would definitely hire him for any future electrical work.

Alan was punctual, professional and skilled in his trade. I would definitely recommended Alan to anyone needing electrical support and will use him again for future issues.

After recently purchasing my home I had the unfortunately luck of my water heater going bad, during the replacement of my water heater we discovered an electrical issue. Called around to many electricians and couldn’t reach any , finally I reached Alan and even though it was after normal business hrs and probably further than he would have liked to travel he came out , diagnosed and correct my problem and restored my faith in humanity in the process. I will be having him back out to replace the entire panel amongst other things. It’s always a pleasure to deal with someone knowledgeable and that takes pride in their work.

We needed to have a couple of small electrical jobs completed. Alan was very responsive, quick to set up a time and very communicative about the issues. Will definitely call Alan again next time we need assistance with electric issues.

Alan was responsive and professional. We had an issue with our outside outlets and light post. He was able to quickly correct the issue. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone in need of electrical work.

Alan replaced 4 of my lighting fixtures in my home. He was professional, on time and did a great job! I would highly recommend this company and will use them for future work that needs to be done.

I must say i was very impressed with the service I received . Not only was he on time , but he took the time to listen to our needs and try to get to the real issue we were having. There was no pressure selling or suggestions for improvements. I felt very comfortable with Alan and what he did for Us . Another positive was he was always smiling . I will definitely suggest him and his services to all my friends

Came home from vacation to find that many outlets and lights weren’t working. Called Alan and he made an evening visit and got us back up and working again!! I highly recommend his services. He’s honest, up front and reasonably priced. Plan to have some electrical upgrades done in the future and will be calling Olmsted Electric!

Alan was very easy to work with and the results are exactly what we wanted for our kitchen rewire. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain his work and answer any questions. We will absolutely use Olmsted Electric next time we need electrical work.

Alan was able to accommodate my schedule, arrived when expected and quickly identified my electrical issue ( it wasn’t my circuit breaker after all, but the appliance, so I will work with vendor on resolution). He was able to explain the situation and provided me with confidence in my next steps. I would use Olmsted Electric again

I had Alan out to run wire for 2 fans , 4 outlets and 2 switches . The work he performed was neat , clean and was beyond my expectations but he also helped explain and go over things with me seeing as I'm a first time home owner of very old home. Alan also pointed out a few major issues that could have potentially caused a fire in my home .On top of all that he was very professional and prompt in the entire quoting and scheduling process not once was i left wondering when he was gonna get back to me from the very start to the finish olmstead electric was fantastic to work with and i already plan to have Alan out to do additional work.
