I had an idea what I wanted, Kevin Sasak took that idea and presented a plan that culminated in a medley of Trees shrubs and flowers that made a nice house into a showplace. Showed up day and hour as promised, finished project on time and budget.

Ken Sasak just completed a major renovation for us, transforming a backyard destroyed by a swimming pool construction project into a tranquil oasis.

I was referred to Sasak Landscaping by the Ohio Landscape Association in early March. Ken promptly returned my call within hours, and was at my home for an estimate within days. Pictures and notes were taken, and he immediately scheduled a return visit for the following week, to present his drawings and fees. As promised, he was at my home the next week with a rendering that proved he had really listened to my “wish list” of requests. He assured me that, as work progressed, if I decided to change some things here or there, or tweak this or that, it wouldn’t be a problem. I didn’t need to look any further. He was our designer.

As work commenced, so did the rainiest spring I can ever remember. Ken stayed in constant contact with us, and worked whenever weather permitted, including Saturdays. Yes, I tweaked a few things and he was always very patient and willing to please. There were never any “hidden” fees, and whenever he left for the day, the worksite was spotless. He was personally onsite during the process, and his crew was thorough, respectful, and friendly. Several weeks after the job was finished, Ken & crew returned to assess, overseed and fertilize, all included in the initial proposal.

The end result has surpassed our expectations. Our backyard is now a Disney scene - serene and lovely, with chirping birds raising babies in the new evergreens and dazzling butterflies winging their way from flower to flower. Oh, the happy memories we will make in this place, thanks to Sasak Landscaping.

Best job I have ever had. The bosses, Ken and Kevin are very nice and genuine people. The foreman, Sam was really good at showing me the ropes and they give freedom to input your ideas into designs and such.

All in all, for my short summer stay it has been the best job I’ve had and I really enjoyed the job outcomes especially. It was great pay and it was great at building a foundation of knowledge for landscaping and design for me.

We could not be happier with Sasak Landscaping! From the design all the way to completion. For starters, the design was hands down the best we received. It was unique, functional and beautiful.
All their employees were well vetted, professional and polite.
They built a huge patio for us with a pavilion, fire pit and a built in grill island with one side being counter height and the other bar height. It’s perfect for entertaining or for everyday low key hanging out.
The landscaping around the patio and around the house is beautiful! The trees and rocks are a wow factor. We’ve had multiple neighbors compliment us about the unique design and plant selection.
They went above and beyond for us, and wanted us to be happy with every detail. You could tell this is a labor of love for them. One of their guys, Ryan walked me through all the plants and explained how to maintain them. It was so helpful!
If you’re getting multiple quotes, my advice would be that you get what you pay for.

We used Sasak Landscaping this summer and have used them in the past. The project this time included barn stone walls, sandstone stairs, brick walkways and patio, a small water feature, low voltage lighting and new trees and plants. The final product exceeded our expectations. The young men employed by Sasak Landscaping were professional, courteous, hard working and respectful. We offered several changes in the final plan as the project went along and Ken and his son, Kevin, were always willing to discuss our suggestions. Ken Sasak and his team of extremely brilliant landscapers transformed our struggling, small, backyard of many years, into one of the most beautiful experiences we have had, and get to enjoy now for many years. Let's make sure you know what we mean by excellent and by brilliant.
We were not looking for a fancy place packed with all sorts of landscape structures, we wanted a quiet place of beauty to relax in, to study in, to entertain in. And right from the start Ken and his team considered what we wanted and conceived of a rather amazing vision that fit exactly with what we sought. The drawings were well drafted, including a terrific computer simulation with video.
Once work began, we saw a crew of people of profound expertise. They knew how to transform our yard into the special vision of the drawings. Within a very short period of time, about 10 days, our old yard was gone. An original patio was completely repaved and levelled, a second smaller patio also installed, four amazing beds of the most incredible plants planted and set. As we looked at our home, we saw the need for our front walk to also be renewed and for other details to be addressed. Ken and his team were able to do this extra work just as efficiently.
The team was always there as promised, no delays beyond what a heavy rainstorm might impose, but the point was no surprises. We agreed on what was to be done, and it was done.
And when the last bit of mulch and sod were in place, my wife and I were so inspired, moved, enchanted, in a word, deeply pleased. The result was a work of extraordinary art. That's right, art. Every plant, every stone, each patio, the grading of the areas, each created a feast for the eyes and balm for our souls. This was art at the highest level, not driven by gizmos, but by an incredible eye for landscape design and execution.
We now sit in one of the most wonderful places we have been, and we get to see it every day.

Sasak Landscaping recently installed an outdoor fireplace in our backyard, and we couldn't be happier with the result. The craftmanship is topnotch and it's ow the centerpiece of out outdoor space. The team was also a pleasure to work with - kind and professional. We would highly recommend Sasak Landscaping for anyone looking to elevate their outdoor living area!

Hire them! We worked with their amazing team and had a fantastic design outcome. We had 8 estimates to replace a 4 foot tall, very long and angled retaining wall in a difficult location. Other companies had to rent some equipment, others were more expensive for less guaranteed work. Most said we had to contract tree removal and replace damaged landscaping and fencing. Some came to see the property and said no, too big of a job. Four large trees needed to be removed. Inground sprinklers, lighting and all backyard drainage replaced. A swail was deepened. An entire brick pool surround was removed and replaced with Belgard pavers to match the new wall, added a sitting wall and winding stairway. Added two new walkways, lots of unique landscaping in new flower beds bordered in new lawn. Done to perfection. Clean up done daily. Wonderful to work with.

Ken, Kevin and the team did an awesome job with our new patio and landscaping. Every member of the team was polite and professional and we were very impressed how they hit the ground running and efficiently implemented the project.
