The gentlemen who came out were very professional. They could not figure out the problem the first day so they came back out and tested every single outlet and eventually found the panel issue and fixed it on the spot. I highly recommend their services.

I need to tell you folks about how happy I am with the work done at my home recently. Shane and Kurt are very professional. The totally figured out what to do in short order to install two new ceiling pendant lamp fixtures, one ceiling fan and a wall one outlet in areas where none previously existed. They also repaired another existing ceiling light fixture. Really knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend those fellows and Great Lakes for electrical needs. C J Brown

We have just completed the build of our new home. All of the electrical work was done by Great Lakes Electric and they did an exceptional job! The entire team was very friendly, courteous and cooperative. They worked hard to ensure all of our needs and concerns were addressed. We couldn't be happier with the end result! The team was outstanding and a few individuals, Gary, James and Ed, all went above and beyond what was expected. We appreciate all their extra effort!

I just had some pretty major electrical updating done to my home this week and I have to give kudos to Allastair and Alex for the great job they did for me. They were here for two days and were not only on time but courteous and answered any and all questions I had along the way. I would highly recommend Great Lakes electrical for any residential or commercial work you need to have done.

I had Tyler and Jake from Great Lakes electric. I had a fantastic experience with this company. They showed up on time. The electricians were extremely helpful and explained everything in details I could understand. They cared about leaving the house the same way it was when they arrived. Excellent service! We had a tree come down and take out the service to the house on Thanksgiving. Jared and his crew had us up and running the next day. Also had Great Lakes wire an addition to our home. Josh and his crew were also excellent. The Great Lakes employees were always on time, polite, great communicators and went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met. I highly recommend Great Lakes Electrical for any residential needs. We will be customers of theirs forever.

Used Great Lakes Electrical to have some garage lights installed. The electrician, John, straightened out some potential hazards with the previous wiring job and tied the lights into a wall mount switch. Very professional and thorough.

Alastair A. and Elijah G pulled off the impossible! We had extensive damage to our home due to Toledo Edison mistake - these gentleman replaced our 200amp home panel, 100amp garage panel and our external meter in less than 10hrs. These technicians took the time to explain all that needed to be done, were polite and courteous throughout the process. My family and I had to stay in a hotel for the evening and we 100% trusted them on our property while we were away. I could NOT recommend Great Lakes more for their professionalism, punctuality and expertise during the process and they will 100% get additional business from us. Ryan and Tyler came out today to perform 3 tasks - upgrade kitchen undercabinet lighting, replace attic thermostat and move/replace attic fan switch as well as trouble shoot outlet that was not hot. They were courteous, professional yet engaging, great listeners and did an amazing job. I have used Great Lakes Electrical before and everyone they send out is great and well trained. GLE was originally recommended to me by a commercial electrician who is a neighbor. Great job Gregg!

If I could give them 6 stars , I would. I sent a customer to them last week because they were experiencing power outages in random spots throughout their home. This customer asked me for a referral for a great electrical contractor and Great Lakes is my go to. After this customer called and explained the situation to Valerie, her experience told her that it was a Toledo Edison issue and she gave them contact information to get ahold of them. Valerie took it upon herself to call back multiple times that day to make sure the issue was resolved, and it was! I have worked with Great Lakes for many years and will continue to do so because of service like that and the combined experience of the entire team. Thank you, I appreciate you.

We had some electrical work done in our garage. This company came recommended by another contractor and they did a GREAT job! Very easy to schedule with, up front about pricing, answered all my questions regarding different possibilities for what we needed. The crew was on time, fast, and very respectful of our home.

Amazing in every aspect, from Jamie the salesman to the office people to the field workers that did the actual job . This was my first time time dealing with this company , they replaced a 5 meter commercial electric box for me.

Great Lakes completed wiring my new house and garage in 2024. The work was completed on time and the employees were considerate, timely and cleaned work areas when done for the day. The cost was very reasonable and the field manager checked in with me often to see if I had any issues with their work. It was a pleasure to work with them.

Ran into a situation where our business lost AC due to some electrical damage. Cruz and Marty were able to quickly and efficiently correct our issue. We now have AC in the high heat of summer. Additionally, the cost came in under what was anticipated, always a plus. Thanks, Guys!

Thanks to Great Lake Electrical. I called on a Sunday about a GFI issue I could not figure out on a new build GLE had completed 2 years previously. I left a message. I received a call early the next morning. John Craley was in the area and came that afternoon to fix the issue. He went over and above even completing an electrical issue I was working on in another part of the house. All was repaired and cleaned before he left. Thanks again for your quick response and expertise.

Jason and Eli were our techs and did a fantastic job! They were very respectful, quick, explained everything in a way that I could understand, and cleaned up better than before they were here. We will definitely be using great lakes for more of our future electrical needs!

They installed whole house generator in Sept 2024 and can’t say enough good things about the company from the estimator, installers and all the behind the scene support staff in the office.
Once we signed the contract to install, we didn’t have to do anything. They did everything from paperwork with Generac, city permits, inspections and everything else that needed to be done. Installation crew was on time, courteous, worked well together and very professional…one day install. Both final inspections were scheduled, city came out and both passed. Also, cost was very reasonable and scheduled in a timely manner. Thank you for everything!

Maxx and Nate came to my house and replaced a large number of outlets. They were on time and very professional. Would highly recommend for any electrical work you might have. We would definitely use them again.

If you have electrical issues or need repair, call GREAT LAKES ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING. I had a tenant contact me today with a major electrical problem at my rental. After checking it out, I realized it was beyond my expertise, so I called four different companies and ended up leaving messages. The fourth company I called was Great Lakes and, get this...I actually spoke with an employee, not an answering service or some automated text. Anyway, Noah and his co-worker, Nick, from Great Lakes, gave me an estimated time of arrival and they were there, on site, as promised. Note that it's 8 hours since I made those calls and I haven't heard from any of the other companies!
Anyway, the issue ended up being outside with the wiring from the service drop to the meter of which they replaced in no time. Noah and Nick are true assets to this company and I will use GREAT LAKES ELECTRICAL CONTRACTING in the future for any electrical needs.

We had issues with partial power. He was quick to troubleshoot and fix the problem.
