We just had our solar installed today by Third Sun. The crew was simply amazing. They answered all my questions (my Spousal Unit knows WAY more than I do) and were so kind and hard-working.
We knew, because we had 25 panels installed, that it would take them 2 days and it did. We are excited to finally have solar and we really hope that more residences will get solar. The gentlemen seemed to really care about our project too.
I think we're one of the first houses in our area to get solar so we're pretty excited about it and the savings we'll get.
I know some of the bigger solar companies want to get into commercial work and I really hope that Third Sun keeps on striving for residential installations.

I have had Solar Panels on my roof for 3 years now. Third Solar Sun was very professional installing them and helping me get the legal documentation required to collect solar power. My electric bills have been positively affected, reducing my monthly electric bill. I also receive payments from Knollwood Energy for their sale of my solar units, and I have a tax write-off on my Federal Income taxes On the whole, I highly recommend more people adding solar panels to their homes. .It is not only a good business decision, it is also a benefit to the planet.

The team at 3d Sun designed and installed our rooftop solar system a few years ago. Everyone at 3d Sun is knowledgeable, professional, and so helpful at every step. We've been thoroughly pleased with our system and with the follow up from 3d Sun. At present we are considering a battery storage addition, so of course we turned to 3d Sun. They are on the case, sharing the latest technology and options to meet our needs. They are the BEST!

I have been working with Third Sun Solar for almost a decade. When we in Lorain county organized Lorain county community solar (the first community solar group in OH) we selected Third Sun Solar to be the installer for the group. When my wife and I decided to install another 5 kW of solar at our residence, we chose Third Sun Solar to install the 5kW. The system was installed this week (June 29 and 30, 2020). They were professional: came when they said they would, took all appropriate safety measures like being harnessed with a safety rope when on the roof installing the mounting rails and wore hard hats when on the ground below installation, kept an organized neat site, explained to us what they were doing, completed the job in two days as they said they would, and left the site as it was when they arrived.

Third Sun is just great. From the highest in the chain to the guys that did the install.everyone was nice, responsive, professional and patient during the entire process. I had a few special questions about my install and they had their engineers consider and respond. The install looks great and I am very excited. Props to EVERYONE at Third Sun. If solar is an option for you I cannot imagine a better company.

We sought out Third Sun Solar after reading an article in the Plain Dealer that highlighted their experience and professionalism. Dave Zelasky came out to assess our situation and explain how it would work. He gave us a straightforward presentation and answered all our questions. The company has followed through with communication, letting us know what to expect at every step. We are very happy with the panels they installed. Our only advice to others would be to replace the roof before you install the panels, but we wanted to take advantage of the tax rebate before the time ran out. They have monitoring software that shows the solar output for each day, and it's been interesting to see how much energy we are producing with our panels, which has reduced our reliance on the grid and lowered our electric bills. Several of our neighbors have commented on how nice the panels look. They also ask about the savings. We had to get permission from our HOA to proceed, and Third Sun's proposal was helpful in obtaining that. We are satisfied with the results and recommend this company highly.

First off we are extremely pleased with our solar system. Mark and the team evaluated our property for solar installation and effectiveness. He then visited with us to provide us with a quote for a new system to meet our needs. Mark took the time to explain all of the options, rationale for the system design, how the install process would work, and the full system install cost. We were pleasantly surprised with final quote and decided to purchase a system. The initial consultations and personal visit left us confident in Third Sun Solar. Again we are extremely happy with the system and the entire process working with Mark and the Third Sun Solar staff.

Third Sun made it easy to get solar panels for our home! They did a great analysis of our house with clear information on how much energy we could expect to produce, how long it will take the panels to pay for themselves, how much they will save us over the expected life of the panels after they have returned the investment, and how much CO2 they will keep out of the atmosphere. I also appreciated the pictures they provided showing just where they planned to put the panels- one a plan view, and another with the panels added on to an actual aerial photo of the hosue. Installation went very smoothly. They took care of everything! I highly recommend Third Sun Solar- and even more highly recommend getting solar for your home!

I had solar panels installed a few months ago! The panels are producing the output predicted and have worked flawlessly from Day One! The entire team at Third Sun Solar was top notch! I particularly liked the fact that everyone that worked on my home was employed with Third Sun including the crew that installed the panels! Each and every person that I worked with was extremely knowledgeable and timely with all follow up! A big shout out to Christine who worked diligently to cut through the City of Cincinnati’s bureaucracy to keep the permit process flowing and who was equally determined to push through the slog of Duke Energy's “customer service” and incompetence to get the meters switched out. If you’re looking to get solar panels installed, I would highly recommend this Company!!

My wife and I have recently completed an installation of a 30-panel roof top installation of solar panels on our condo. We cannot say enough concerning how pleased we were with the entire process from design to engineering and installation. The personnel at Third Sun Solar are very congenial and extremely easy to work with. The electrical inspection by our county (with 2 inspectors) was perfect. The senior inspector stated that "This is the first solar installation that I have ever approved an electrical permit on the initial visit"! We strongly encourage any prospective businesses or homeowners to investigate a solar installation with Third Sun Solar. We wish we had done this several years ago!
