So far this company has been “Johnny on the spot” and their efforts to get my restoration project started admid the COVID-19 pandemic is simply an amazing thing to witness if you ask me! If their rapid response to the initial bid process is any indicator what their continued response efforts will be to fix what is damaged in my rental property here in Toledo Ohio, then I will be a very satisfied customer indeed once the project is finished!

Great job! Dan found hidden damage overlooked by insurance adjuster and worked with insurance company to secure additional funding needed to cover the job. Wallboard and wallpaper work was completed by true craftsmen. They were also very flexible in working with a couple of last minute scheduling changes arising from medical appointments.

J and R was very easy to work wit. Staff was helpful and promptly returned my calls. They fixed damage to roof,etc. caused by a tree. Work was delayed by covid but they sealed everything so no more damage was done.They did a great job, even doing some things to help me that they didnt have to do!

Jerilyn and her team of skilled project directors, managers and technicians are top notch. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!

J&R did an amazing job clearing our home & disposing the mess from the damaged rooms due to a severe water leak within a day.. Their professional carpenters, flooring and painting personnel did an excellent job in restoring the rooms in our home. I would highly recommend J&R Contracting.

J and R did a great job taking care of repairs to my garage after a tree fell on it. Response time after initial call was within hours and they took the time to answer all my questions and walk my through the insurance claim process and repair timetable. They took care of everything in a timely manner and didn’t overpromise or under deliver.

Situations where you need a disaster repair specialist are generally stressful and confusing so it’s great when you can find someone who knows what they’re doing!

J&R came to clean out my grandparents barn. It was a job no one would touch, but J&R was ready. They came prepared to throw away all kinds of stuff and cleaned years of accumulated filth. In addition to being prepared for this job, they were professional and organized. I felt good about the job they did. I hope never to need them in a disaster, but if I do, I am confident in the result.

I can't say enough about J &R Contracting. They have been great to work with. They were out at my home within an hour of the call placed to them with a crew to start cleaning up the water in my basement and removing contents. Ever single person that I have interacted with is personable, professional and thorough. I do not hand out praises easily and I'm telling you this company is top notch.

I met Mike the owner 13 years or so back when I was a disaster restoration professional myself in my previous career before he owned J & R. Even back then you could tell he had a passion to serve people. The initial phone call was great and they happened to dispatch the call directly to Mike. He very quickly called me and immediately asked me what I needed and got the process rolling. You can tell Mike's passion to serve others has rubbed off on his staff and it has become the company culture because I had a wonderful experience with every person I dealt with at J & R. My insurance adjuster even mentioned how easy J & R made the claim process go smoothly for that side of things as well. Having been on the disaster restoration side of things, I had some high expectations but the whole staff exceeded those. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends or use them again if the need arises.

J&R was extremely great to work with! Their work on our Center's bathroom's were timely, professional and they went out of their way to meet our needs! The J&R team went out of their way to work around our hours of operation. The workers were respectful and our new bathrooms look great. In what was a stressful situation for our small nonprofit, J&R contracting made this a smooth process. Thanks to their whole team! I would recommend them to anyone!

Our roof at our ice cream store, Penguin Palace in Maumee took a direct windstorm hit on Saturday April 1st. We called J&R at 8am Sunday morning and a clean up crew was on site by 11am. J&R handled everything from beginning to end with professionals of all trades to get us back up and running. With the amount of damage and the building being so old built in 1947 an engineer had to get involved, and to my surprise it happened quickly. The project took 3 months to get completed which is understandable with the amount of work that had to be done but we couldn't be more happier with the outcome.

This was our first project with Blue Sky. The entire staff, especially our project manager Zach Stubbe, was highly professional and responsive to our questions/concerns. We enjoyed working with the Blue Sky team and look forward to working together on future projects!

These guys are superstars. I live in Sandusky and we were hit hard by storms this summer. The local companies were on a two week waiting list - if they were even answering phones. J & R completed the work and saved my basement from a complete gut job before the others companies could even send someone to assess the damage. Thanks J & R! Great work.

We are very happy with the restoration work which J&R Contracting did for us. Everyone from the company was knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. In particular, those who came to do the work in our house were very accommodating of our needs--which we really appreciated. The quality of the work which they did for us was outstanding. They worked hard to make sure that the finished product was what we were expecting. We're so pleased!

First off, let me assure you this is a legitimate review. The only reason I say this is that, based on our experience, I am astonished at some of the low reviews. Zach and his crew in Toledo have been nothing but spectacular. We live out of town, and our uncle in Toledo had passed away. He was unfortunately deceased in his house for about four weeks. This meant that a fair portion of the house had to have odor remediation which involved removing and replacing part of the flooring, cutting out and replacing the sub-floor, painting, duct cleaning, etc. Blusky also finished an incomplete kitchen remodel my uncle was in the middle of. Blusky came recommended to us by our Statefarm agent, and they did not dissapoint. They worked collaboratively with us through the whole process, finished ahead of schedule, and the work was high quality. Thank you Zach!

We recently had J&R repair a 4-inch hole in our roof and the interior ceiling. J&R was on time for their appointments and met our schedule. Dan did a thorough job on scoping and estimating the work. Justin did a great job on repairing the hole in the roof and matching the shingles before we received significant rain. Rick and Ricky also did a great job on repairing the interior ceiling hole in the drywall and matching the finish so that one could not tell where the hole had been. Charles then did a super job on painting the ceiling which was much better than the original paint finish. It was a pleasure to have these craftsman take pride in their work and do a superb job!

Fantastic people to work with! We needed some mold remediation done on our house, and a crew was out very quickly and got to work thoroughly cleaning every square inch of the affected areas. The crews were clean, courteous, and professional. Everything looks fantastic now and the air quality tests returned excellent results. I've heard a number of good stories from friends that have used their services as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Working with J&R was great. When I first called when we had water problems with our house they had an estimator out within the hour and the crew to do the mitigation was soon to follow. The crew they had show up was great. It is always nice having someone in your house working that you can see they are knowledgeable about how to take care of the issue.
