I have used Pipe Dr. Several times in the past and again today. They're prompt, professional, responsive, and will take the time to explain the scope of their work in "layman's terms". Thanks again for saving the day.

We had a serious clog in our drain and various questions after moving into a new home. Zack was incredibly friendly, listened to my concerns, investigated and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable with him in my home and will hire Pipe Doctor again if I have any other plumbing issues! Thank you!

Eric came out, was early, and scoped a sewer line for a home we are interested in purchasing. He was able to locate issues in the line, major obstructions, root intrusion, and total collapsing of the sewer line in one spot! He was incredibly fast and efficient, yet unbelievably thorough. He even had a device to locate the damaged spots and marked them on the top of the lawn for future reference.

Anyone buying a home should call Pipe Doctor for a sewer line inspection! It could save you thousands in repairs you never would have known about otherwise!!

Came out to assess a water heater in the morning and got it replaced by the end of the day. The technicians stayed until 7 pm on a Friday night to get the job done right. Very professional. Might be considered a bit on the pricey side, but the value was evident. Would recommend.

they wanted 300 to hook up gas line to dryer. one line unbelievable. 500 to move water valves. they are not even competitive with other businesses. they charge 39 for estimates, I think that is all they do is estimates to collect 39 all day long. everywhere else was 100 or 150. website says they are in toledo on lewis but when you call its sone woman in waterville. things dont add up. wish i would have checked reviews first. i learned my lesson. I think some waterville people are trying to steal all toledo pipe doctors business. I don't think they are same company. if they are good luck. greed gets you no where. called another plumber they did dryer for 100 and changed water valves for 250. very overpriced company.

I had a hot water heater that wasn't heating up the water much. I checked it and the pilot light was on and staying lit, but it would only attempt to heat the water for about 3 minutes.

I called The Pipe Doctor and gave the rep all the information. She got the make and model, the size of the tank, what the problem was, and when it was purchased. Said a repair tech would be out. One of the techs showed up about 1:30, took basically one look at the water heater, did not take off the cover to even see if the pilot was lit or attempt to adjust the temperature setting. I gave him all the info I had already given the rep who took my call. The tech said he would not be able to do it today but that I'll need to get it replaced. Given that the tank was 9 years old and had been out of warranty for 3 years, cost to fix would be almost as much as a replacement.

Mind you he had already told me he would not be able to do it that day. I had to pay him for a trip charge ($140) for 30 seconds of 'work', all of which could have been told to me over the phone. I had taken the day off work to get this done and would have to take another to have it actually done. There was nothing he did or information gathered by being there that had not already been told to the person who took my service call.

I called around several other plumbers to find out price of replacement and when I called Fry Heating and Cooling, the gentleman I spoke with asked if I had well water out where I lived. I told him it is ground water, but treated by the village. He suggested I hook a hose up to the water heater and drain off about 5 or 10 gallons from the bottom to see if I had any sediment built up and that could cause issues heating the water. Boy did I. I flushed out until the water ran clear. Voila! When the water heater kicked on, it stayed running for a while. It now heats up the water so well, I had to turn down the thermostat a bit.

Any plumber worth his salt should have known to check something so simple, not just try to get a sale for a brand new water heater out of you. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS! Shifty tactics in my opinion. It could only be one of two things at play here. 1) They were incompetent and didn't know to check something like that or 2) they were trying to gouge out another sale. Not much room between.

This is an EXPENSIVE company, which I could overlook if their customer service, promptness or communication was top notch - which it is not. Late arrival from promise, parts not ordered as promised, no communication of anything!!! I have used them before and although still expensive, they did a good job. Now however, I would not use this company again.

Do NOT have them do any plumbing work for you! Very shifty people. Wanted a $39 dispatch fee. I get that. But then $99 an hour for service. $450 to replace an OU flange for a toilet($25 fix at hardware). Then to drop a one piece toilet, that’s an extra $300.
As I was discussing this service with my husband, I advised the technician to wait for my decision.
We decided to do the work ourselves and save all that money. By the time I came back to advise him no thanks... he installed and started the work anyway! He looked up at me and told me it would be $500. I advised him to uninstall what he did and to get out of my house! He then tried to charge us for the install he started without my permission. I told him to leave immediately or I would call police. I called his supervisor, Eric. Eric state’s he should have never started the work without a signature from me. I am still confused by what happened. Please don’t trust this company.
