My a/c went out on July 5th. I called my warranty company and they did nit come out till July 22nd! When they did they did not check everything. Said there was plenty of Freon and I needed to clean the unit. My sons hosed the unit down and it still wasn’t working. That is when I called Care. Real person answered the phone and was so nice. They said they would come the next day and they did! Shawn was AWESOME!! He took the unit apart found a leak fixed it add 2lbs of Freon. He check the unit inside and said it was good I called because the it was starting to freeze up. He was here for almost 2 hours where the other guy was here about 15 minutes and did not do anything like Shawn did. My unit is working beautifully now. Thank you Care and a special thank you to Shawn!

Wes came by to perform our bi-annual HVAC check today. He was a delight! Very kind, informative, and efficient. He even made friends with one of our dogs! He was well within the time window we were quoted, called when he was on his way, and was very courteous during his time here. Another positive experience with CARE!

Not only was Ciara a nice person, she did a tremendous job for my annual A/C tune-up. She was respectful and cared about doing the tune-up correctly. Super important!! I was extremely impressed on how thorough she was when cleaning my A/C condenser. She did it the right way. It seems like most techs nowadays don't care about the details of genuinely cleaning the condenser. Thank you, Ciara for being you and thank you for your excellent service!! :)

First time customer, had AC ice up right before leaving for a work trip. Called and they got an HVAC Tech out there ASAP the next day. The tech was Sean and he did an awesome job of communicating the problem and our options even though I was away. He presented multiple price points so that we could pick what worked for us, and due to that he earned our subscription and repeat business. Afterwards I got the receipt and saw they include pictures and videos of the work before and after which is awesome. CARE definitely lives up to their commercials on the FAN and I’m very happy I went with them! Thank you Sean.

Ciara came to my home this AM promptly, listened to my concerns about the AC unit, specifically about better thermostat function, but her work went way beyond that. She did a great inspection inside and out, and was very comfortable with educating this customer about expectations for my unit, optimal usage, and tips for best operation year round. She offered quality work.

We had our new HVAC system installed last year and have been very happy with it. Our first year annual inspection was just performed. Tech was thorough, addressed my questions and took the time to research and adjust the setting on our thermostat to show backlighting. Thanks,

Professional and friendly. The technician was great. He explained what was going on with our ac not working in a way that was easy to understand - for someone who doesn’t know anything about HVAC systems. Gave helpful advice on how to move forward with our issue. Signed up for their care program for regular maintenance on our system and will be recommending CARE to friends in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with Andy, my air conditioning technician. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue with my AC and explained the necessary repairs in a clear and friendly manner. Andy worked efficiently and diligently, ensuring everything was functioning perfectly before he left. I really appreciated his attention to detail and the care he took to leave my home clean. I cannot say enough good things about Care Heating & Cooling — especially Dana. After another company told me my Freon was low, that I “probably had a leak,” and quoted me $4,400 for a new evaporator coil, I called Care for a second opinion.

Dana came out, was incredibly thorough, and did the inspection at no charge. She explained everything clearly and even showed me pictures of a part that had been replaced without my authorization or knowledge. What she discovered shocked me:
✅ My Evaporator coil is NOT leaking
✅ My Freon was NOT low
✅ The real issue was a bad capacitor — which had already been replaced by the other company without my knowledge. Instead of being honest about that simple fix, they tried to sell me an unnecessary $4,400 coil replacement. Not to mention the coil replacement should’ve been $1500-$2200.

If it weren’t for Dana and Care Heating & Cooling, I never would have known the truth. Dana was professional, honest, and went above and beyond to give me peace of mind. She also mentioned that many of Care’s second-opinion calls come after inflated quotes from other big-name HVAC companies in Columbus.

Care Heating & Cooling earned my full trust because of Dana’s honesty and professionalism. I will be calling them first for any future HVAC needs, and I recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and reliable company.

Came out for routine maintenance. Quick and courteous service. Didn’t push the care plan which I appreciated. Will use them again in the spring for AC check!
