I asked Steve to check my Condenser as suspected the original installer had hooked it up incorrectly. He verified it had and gave his recommendation. He could have made a big deal out of the matter but he did not. I was thankful for his honesty.

The heat index is over 100!!! Our air-conditioning went out and we needed someone asap! While they couldn't come out because they are booked out for days, Kevin still had the professional courtesy to answer the phone. I had called other companies and had to leave voicemails and it's just took hot to have to play phone tag! I was so grateful Kevin was able to answer and make an appointment just in case we ended up having to wait. Kevin's customer service was so appreciated today! In the future they will be my first call.

Steve has always responded very quickly when we have been in need because of a mechanical problem with the A/C and when our old unit finally needed to be replaced, he was able to do it for a reasonable price with a high quality new unit.

Highly recommend Steve Westerman and Action Heat & Air. Recently had a noisy 16 year old system replaced. Very impressed with their professionalism. Steve is a straight shooter and I'm glad I now have an HVAC pro that I can really TRUST. Very happy with the new American Standard system.........

Highly recommend! They were quick to respond when our air conditioner stopped working. They found the problem and fixed it right away. The guys were very polite, and friendly. We will call them again for service, and repairs.

Another Great experience with Action Heat & Air. Clogged A/C drain line. Kevin was out within one hour, spent about 30-45 minutes on it, blew it out, tested it and now all fixed. Thanks again to Steve and his team. Make them your "go-to" for HVAC needs!!

Top notch and very professional. Answered the phone at 9pm, the tech showed up the next morning. He was very professional, answered questions and earned a lot of future work starting next week. Action HVAC is the way to go. I speak from experience as this is the second company I had to have over this week.

I can't say enough good about Action Heat & Air of Collinsville. Steve did a great job on the installation, and has serviced my HVAC system every spring and fall. And since my new HVAC installation, my yearly electric and gas bills have been reduced by roughly 15%, and I have the data to back up my claim. Steve told me that my new American Standard system would save me money - and he was right. I would recommend Action Heat & Air of Collinsville for any and all HVAC needs. He is THAT good, and he backs up his claims, too.

As everyone else has mentioned in other reviews, Action Heat and Air are quick to respond and easy to work with. I needed to replace an older AC unit and the associated furnace. I got multiple bids and found that Action Heat and Air provided the best bang for the buck. They are a team of professionals!

Steve takes pride in his work and in taking care of his customers. That’s is what is most important to him. If someone is in need , he’s there to help them or direct them to someone who can. He enjoys people and helping them have a better life in the hot & cold seasons. He’s honest with them about what’s going on and will never sell you something you don’t need. Very proud of my husband and his work ethics. You can trust him to take care of you.

We have used Steve since 2015 when he corrected a number of problems on the HVAC system on our home. Since then we have used him on all our residential work and on all of our commercial system installations, maintenance, and repairs. He is very knowledgable, does excellent work and we can't imagine using anyone else.

Steve Westerman did a great job repairing our heating unit, especially being one of the coldest days this winter. He came out on a Sunday and took the time to explain everything that was being done.He also explained to us how we can save some money in the long run. I highly recommend him!

I discovered this company by a referral from someone and I was more than happy with the service and workers of this company. Fast response, great communication, and honest hard working employees!!!! They make having a AC unit installing look easy. The gentleman even cleaned up after themselves.

I called on a Wednesday afternoon and was told my AC unit could be serviced on Friday afternoon. I called Friday afternoon and was told it would be that evening because he was busy. He finally showed up at 11pm. I wish I would've known it would take so long because I would've called someone else. I have a 10 month old and someone that has MS, so just wish I would've known it would take so long. I kept having to call them to see when they would be here. For over $400 for the unit to be cleaned and freon refilled, I wish I would've had excellent service/communication. I am grateful he came so late and then showed up Saturday to finish cleaning it in the day. He was nice, but seem frazzled. After reading all the great reviews I just went based on that, but should've called more places, so that's on me. I would only give two stars, but he did show up so late which was nice.

Update*

I had a freon leak and they came, had to order the part from Arkansas,and as soon as it came in, they fixed it. I left town cuzvitwas too hot and they were waiting on me to show up at 2pm to fix it. They called first to confirm the time which I was so greatful for. Very speedy and friendly!! They've made this customer very happy. Thank you!!

This is a family owned company and they were awesome yesterday (Sunday). They were very responsive and punctual. They fixed the issue and explained to me what the issue was and what they did to fix the problem. I proudly have their magnet on my fridge for future reference or referrals to friends that might ask. Will definitely use them again for repairs/service.

Today , when we got up, our thermostat read 72 degrees. By 2:00PM, the thermostat was still set on 72, but the room temp was up to 78 and climbing. I called Action and this very nice man, Kevin, asked some questions and then told me he would be right out. Within 20 minutes, he was here and went right to work. He had the problem solved within 30 minutes and we were back in business! Within 2 hours after that, our house temp was back to 72. They are very professional, courteous, and made our problem their priority!

Additional post- just wanted to report that 2 weeks ago when problem first occurred, we opted to have Action use stop-leak and see if that would correct the problem. It did until this weekend and back to no A/C.
Called Action this morning and luckily, they found time to come fix the problem for good.
I can’t thank them enough for coming out today. Always professional, courteous, and there when you need them!

Called them at about 11:00 am. Had an appointment scheduled for 12:00pm. Showed up early and had my furnace repaired quickly. Tech was great, Very knowledgeable and explained things well. Definitely going use them in the future. A+++++

Steve was easy to work with. He went through all the different option on replacing our air conditioning unit. Him and his guys showed up on time and finished the project earlier than expected.
