We have had Steele Electric staff at our home recently during a large remodel in our home. The scheduler Kendra always books our appointments with ease and as soon as possible. The responsiveness and excellent customer service of electricians Traison and Hayden really impressed me and going forward I will use them for all my electrical needs and refer them with confidence to friends and family.

So happy I called this place. Alan came early and finished in a flash. Was super nice. He even refused my cash tip, which I did not know people even did that anymore. My neighbor recently had electric work done and felt pressured to leave a credit card tip for a percentage of the work. Next time my neighbor needs work done he wont be calling them again. He will call Alan Steele. Thank you, L

Jordan came to help us out today and was wonderful. I called very early in the morning and they were able to see us on the same day. Jordan talked us through the whole process. We will be having someone from Steele back in the future for any other electrical needs!

My family has relied on Dan Steele and his crew for years -- new construction, remodeling, and service calls. Their work is excellent, and they are incredibly honest. Last week, though, they went above and beyond. I heard noise and saw sparks behind our breaker panel. Less than an hour after talking to Kandice, Aaron was at my house carefully removing the panel from a newly-painted wall. He found a loose neutral wire that likely would have started a fire. Aaron literally saved the day. In a sea of construction mediocrity, Steele Electric is reliable, and they deliver.

Steele Electric has been professional and helpful to work with from the start. I contacted them to get an estimate on a few electric needs I had and Kandice connected me with an estimator to get a ballpark figure on the phone. They were able to schedule me in less than a week.

Traison arrived ahead of schedule after a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. Not only did he complete the work I requested efficiently, he also discovered and fixed a potential issue with the panel in my new construction build.

I will definitely be a repeat customer as well as refer Steele Electric to anyone I know.

Dan and the team at Steele Electric are a rare find these days, professional, on time, high quality, friendly, available, and very reasonable prices.
I had the team out to replace my 1974 power panel and they made it look easy. The City of Beaverton inspector said they did a fantastic job.
They also installed 4 can lights in the living room. I covered everything assuming it would be a big mess, no so. They had a cool tool to keep dust to a minimum.
I had them come back and install two exterior outlets, Traison, knocked it out quickly, no mess, no problems.

Getting an estimate was a cinch - Aaron had me send a photo of the work area and returned an estimate several days later. Jennifer handled all communication perfectly. Trevor was on time, performed the work efficiently and followed all the rules in my condo building. The cost was significantly less than the estimate. I've recommended Steele to others in our building. I'll use them whenever I may need an electrician.

I've used Steele electric a few times over the years and I wouldn't use anyone else. They are professional, on time, friendly and get the job done right at a very fair price. Our latest tech, Tyler, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with his work. I'm a customer for life.

Jordan came out to fix some minor issues for us today. He was friendly, efficient, and resolved our problems quickly. He offered cost-effective options, and was great at communicating the source of the problems. This is the second time we've had Steele Electric come out to work on issues for us, and both time their guys have been super friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area needing an electrician.

Steele is reliable and fast! We’ve been using their services ever since we moved to Portland 2 years ago. Tyler recently installed a number of dimmers in our house and was able to fix a heater that we had presumed would never work! Very pleased!

Our electrician Patrick was very thorough, prompt, and friendly. He provided us with great service and craftsmanship while assisting our house with improvements and repairs. I greatly appreciate when people clean up as they go. It was very helpful that Kendra followed up with us after his visit. She got us rescheduled to have Patrick finish services we had remaining. It awesome to have that familiarity to finish the work.

Steele Electric did an outstanding job of setting up electricity for our hot tub.
First, we worked with Jennifer to receive an estimate for the project and schedule the work. She was very easy to work with and provided a fair estimate. Steele was one of two companies we contacted about this project, but their estimate and final cost was $2,000 less than our other quote.
Second, Rocco completed the work at our home. He was prompt and efficient. He also went above and beyond to be considerate with his work, even asking about our toddler son's nap schedule so he could try to avoid making any loud noises during that time.

Steele Electric was professional and courteous through every step of he process. Jennifer handled all scheduling, all billing, and answered all of my questions promptly and efficiently. Installation was done by Rocco, Dan, and Tyler. They were friendly and precise. They did everything exactly as outlined and were very clean and thorough.

Everybody was so nice! I will absolutely use them again and would 100% recommend.

We had the pleasure of working with Dan Steele and his team while we were building out our business space. The electrical had to be completely redone with addition of light switches, outlets, junction boxes, light fixture installation. Dan came out within a few days of contacting him and provided a competitive quote. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Jordan was the journeyman for our project and was excellent as well! He was also knowledgeable, very communicative, thoughtful and efficient through the whole process. He was also able to help me select lighting and lightbulbs to accentuate our space. Jordan and his partner Ryan were responsive to all of my questions, requests and modifications. Can't recommend Dan Steele and his team enough!!! I will definitely use their services again if I ever have any electric projects.

I couldn't be happier with our choice to use Steele Electric to resolve a problem with a broken outlet and the installation of a "sprinkler timer" in our garage.
Jennifer, the scheduler was very personable and efficient. She asked the right questions so the electrician could come prepared.
Much to my delight, Alan called this morning to see if he could come earlier. He arrived when expected, was friendly, asked questions about our problem and in under an hour repaired our broken outlet and wired our sprinkler system. He answered my questions clearly and explained things to my satisfaction. He is an asset to Steele Electric! Outstanding customer service.

Updated - 11/30/2023 - This is the second time we've hired Steele to do work for us. This time Trevor came out to fix some stuff and add a switch. Once again the service, communication, punctuality and quality was top notch. We will continue to use Steele.

I've hired many electricians over the years and none have been so professional and worked so diligently as the People at Steele Electric. From the beginning Candace and Kendra were informative and friendly in getting me scheduled fast and reminding me of my appointment time the day before. Traison was our electrician and called 15 minuted before our appointment, showing up on time and getting to work quickly on our scary old out building on a cold, dark, rainy morning. He answered all of my questions in a friendly and professional manner and clearly really knew his stuff. I will be using Steele for all of my future electrical work and recommend them highly.

I had a great experience with Steele of installing a floodlight camera. Everything is like a breeze from initial quotation and scheduling with Jennifer. On the day of installation, Trevor showed up on time, completed the job in a very professional manner and made sure everything works as expected before departure. Compared to some other quotes, Steele is competitive and transparent. I would highly recommend them in getting your electric work done!

We had some lights and a bathroom fan installed by Steele electric. We couldn’t be happier. The two electricians assigned to our project gave us excellent advice on where we should place the lights and fan. They were extremely professional and considerate. We are very satisfied with the finished product and will recommend Steele Electric to anyone that needs a project completed.

Rocco came out for the scheduled job, showed up right when the job was scheduled. He was very professional and kept me informed of what he was doing/needed to be done to complete the requested job. He was very thorough, and even fixed a few things that the previous homeowner had not been very mindful of. Would definitely use Steele for any jobs we have in the future.

I needed a sconce installed, and had a bad experience with another company. I reached out to Steele and Jennifer, the service coordinator, was able to give me a quote and get me scheduled within a few weeks. Tyler was the electrician and showed up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up after he was done. I feel good knowing I have a company I can trust for all my electric needs moving forward.

The company we have used in the past no longer serves our location but they recommended Steele and we are so happy that they did!! Allen did a super job of replacing a heater/fan/light in our bathroom. He was very personable and completed the work in less than an hour. The office staff was also top notch and we appreciated their honest and upfront information about rates and equipment prices. We would absolutely call them again. We highly recommend Steele Electric!
