Local hard working company.

Mike and his crew did great work on the two jobs I hired them for. The re-pipe of my basement and installing and replacing much needed foundation piers. They were responsive, quick, and thorough with the repairs. I would absolutely hire them if I should need their services again.

In July 2022 I requested three bids to get my broken concrete front porch replaced with a ramp added. All three of these bids were problematic. One kept pushing me for 'features' that I didn't want and practically stalked me. Another was a no-show. The third - well known and well reviewed gave me a high bid and indicated that I'd have to find someone to follow them to finish some of the work. I had no confidence in either and ultimately decided to do a different project and come back to this one.

Fast-forward to September 2024 and I was again ready to do this project. I contacted Green City Construction and Mike came out personally to review the site and give me a quote. I'm a very experienced DIYer, so I actually had a pretty good idea of the required work. Mike's conversation about what he was observing and the work that needed to be done instilled a lot of confidence. The quote was very fair and included 100% of the work required to complete the project from beginning to end.

After accepting the quote Mike was mindful of getting the work scheduled in time to beat the rainy season while accommodating my own schedule. Communication along the was professional and timely.

The work itself was everything that was promised (actually, a bit more than that) and six months later absolutely no problems have emerged. The new porch and ramp will outlive the house and they look great. :)

I would feel comfortable working with Mike again in the future and encourage others to consider Green City for their construction projects.

Employee refused to wear a mask

After our experience with Green City we would not allow them on our property again. They did thousands of dollars in damage to our landscaping, killing shrubs and trees. They promised to pay for the damage and that was the last we heard from them. They never returned phone calls or replied to emails about paying for the destruction they caused. Over two years later we're still waiting for them to pay for what they did.

We needed plumbing done for our dishwasher and kitchen sink in a new home build. The plumbers installed the hot and cold water lines reversed. They did not install the sink drains that came with the sink we purchased. The hook up from the dishwasher was not at the right level to be hooked up to the lines to the sink.
They appeared to not be interested in correcting this or even being called to this job, We were billed $1240 for their work that will all have to be redone. We did not feel that we wanted to have them back to fix it and be charged again for not doing the job right in the first place. We will be doing the work ourselves. We are replacing a home that burned in a wildfire in 2020. $1240 for is a lot of money for poorly done work.

I understand needing to get from one job to the next in a timely manner. However when you tailgate people in a residential area and then fly past them blowing through lights well over the speed limit. Will not get you new customers.
