We got 3 sun tunnels installed by Matt. He's very professional while super friendly, and he did a great job. We love the light that these sun tunnels bring to our kitchen and bathroom!

They were knowledgeable and friendly when giving us our estimate. They encouraged us to seek out other estimates and discussed the reasons for every service they provided. The actual installation was much quicker than I thought it would be and I was impressed by how well the mess was cleaned up after they were done.

This is a superb roofing company. They take pride in their work and are super knowledgeable about the different systems and applications. I highly recommend using Gruwell Roofing, they do an awesome job with great customer service!

I had some shingles fly off in a storm. Matt got back to me quickly and offered to take a look the next day. I ended up having to cancel because a different roofing company surprised me by showing up first, but I was impressed enough by Matt's excellent customer service that I decided to at least give him a good review.

I called a few big companies said they would be out in February! it is November :( I called Gruwell roofing and they came out the same day a few hours later, fixed the roof, found another missing shingle fixed that at quoted price, and it was pouring down rain! I highly recommend them great service and job well done thanks Gruwell Roofing

Erin and his crew did a great job reroofing my house. They were fast and professional and they do very high quality work. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

Bought a new house and with the first driving rain in this house, a leak into the house was hard to ignore. After having several companies out, each offering an estimate to repair the area of concern pointed out, Matt came out and was confident of the problem. He deemed that it was not the roof that was the problem but rather the rotten siding and window trim above. The trim and siding has been replaced and the corresponding headwall flashing. No leak since! Bottom line, honest, reputable, knowledgeable beyond roofing and professional. I will definitely use them when the roof absolutely needs to be replaced. THANK YOU!!

I recently bought a house with a Gruwell installed roof & skylight. We had an issue we noticed last night. Matt returned my email the next morning and rearranged his day to inspect and patch our skylight (just incase it's the cause) before tonight's rain - FABULOUS customer service! Highly recommend.

Erin and his team are fast and friendly. I wish I had 9 roofs for them to replace. The vents they installed have made a noticeable difference in our air quality and flow of the home. 13/10 would recommend.

Gruwell did a complex roof on our cylindrical large custom home - lots of ridge shingles. They also repaired roof damage to a section. Crew was polite and professional. Good communication about all aspects of the reroofing. Great materials. Their bid was about 1/2 of all the competing bids. They are my go to roofer.

I have heard all kinds of horror stories from neighbors about poor quality roofers and so I got 3 different quotes and met each of the company reps. to understand how they were planning to get the work done. The roof being replaced was there for 30 years and super good quality. I wanted a roof that was going to last another 30. Oh, and the skylights needed replacing too.

Well, happy to report they did a great job and I could not be more pleased. Pick these guys and you won't go wrong. Plus, I am not connected to them in any way - haha. This is a genuine straight up review.

My wife and I have used Gruwell Roofing for more than one house and have recommended them to every person who asks us for a roofer. Their service is professional and courteous. I see a lot of rooves in my line of work, and Gruwell's installations are high quality. Their crews do a great job of cleaning up the very big mess that comes with this line of work too. We believe 100% in this company.

My new roof looks amazing! I knew the old one was overdue for replacement when I purchased my home as it was the original roof and was over 20 years old. I got bids from 5 companies and chose Gruwell for several reasons: they did a nice job on my next door neighbor’s house and came highly recommended; they were one of maybe two companies in town to use Malarkey Vista rubberized asphalt shingles (they actually help clean the air of pollutants); they substantially underbid 2 other companies; Matt Gruwell was no pressure when he came to do his bid and I didn’t feel like I was talking to a used car dealer. I could tell Matt wasn’t pushing a hard sales tactic and line of BS.

I did have two other companies bid a slight bit less and one was able to come out very quickly but I wasn’t in a big rush. I actually wanted to wait a couple months so a busy summer schedule on their part was great with me. It was well worth it to me to pay a little bit more to get a much better and longer paying shingle. The other companies were all using EKO shingles. I’m sure those are great too as they have different levels of quality (good, better, beat) but the rubberized asphalt that cleans pollutants was a big seller for me. Malarkey’s website explains in better detail.

My project for a 2 story 1800 sq ft house took 2.5 days and was quick and efficient. They left everything very clean and none of my plants were damaged. The roof looks sooo much better. I can immediately see what a better quality these shingles are than the original, cheap version the builders choose to install. I can see the increased thickness and the colors are rich (I chose black) and stand out nicely with my forest green house.

I highly recommend Gruwell if it’s important to you to have an efficient project; friendly, responsive, no pressure project manager/owner; and eco-friendly materials like Malarkey.

Working with Erin Gruwell and his crew was very enjoyable and stress free. They did a great job on everything and it was an efficient process as well. I thought it was going to take about twice as long but he got a crew of guys out here and did everything in less than 2 days of work. This was just done in April of 2018. He also saved me in Dec. of 2016 when he patched the previous roof that somebody else had done in 2004 during a rainy part of the year and while I was having a floor restoration done, which would have been a huge problem had he not been able to come right out and patch it up. Thanks Erin, great work both times!

I have a 1950s ranch house in Eugene. Gruwell Roofing replaced my roof in January and I think they did an excellent job. The new roof is beautiful. They were helpful every step of the way, courteous and great to work with. They kept a very clean work site both during and after the job, hauling away every little scrap (unlike the last roofer I had). They may be a little slow with paperwork, but in every other regard I give them my highest recommendation!
