First an arborist visits your site, chooses what you need done - that is, what your trees & shrubs need done- and advises when it should be done. Then a crew comes and does great work. They are both very professional AND friendly & approachable. Two takeaways: Listen to the arborist about timing AND because they speak on behalf of your trees & shrubs. Your choices count, for sure, but listen.

We always get great service with Sperry. We have been customers for over 20 years. You crew is very nice and professional. I don have feedback after this one service. They left the gate wide open after they left. 2 of my dogs escaped my yard, which was devastating. I was able to get them back, thank goodness was. But that small detail could have been a serious issue. Just a heads up for the future. Thanks

When it comes to anything tree related, Sperry is always first on our list. We have now used them at two different homes for different services.

At our previous home, we had some trees that were planted before we moved in, and they were not doing well in the space. We contacted Sperry and the amazing Alby from Sperry came out and gave us a bid for removing the “bad” trees, and planting appropriate trees for the space. After reviewing the bid, we approved the work and got on the schedule. The crew showed up on time and immediately got to work. They worked very hard in not the best weather and finished the job in one day and everything looked great.

After moving to our current home, we inherited a much larger yard that had one tree that definitely needed removed, so we called Sperry and asked if we could have Alby visit to give us a bid. Once again, Alby showed up, told us about all the trees in our yard, and agreed the tree needed to be removed. We once again approved the bid, scheduled and had the crew come out. They removed the tree and a few other items, ground the stump down and we had a “new” backyard.

The latest we have used Sperry was after the ice storm. They were booked out for obvious reasons, but put us on the list for when they were available. Once again, Alby came out to look at our big maple that had been annihilated by the ice. He told us it could definitely be saved, but needed some serious trimming and lifted. We got on the books and had the crew come out once again. They topped some of our other trees, made the maple free of all the damage from the ice storm. After they finished, the maple has been regrowing wonderfully like nothing ever happened.

We will continue to make Sperry our first call for any and all tree related services. If you have the pleasure of Alby visiting, you will learn so much about the trees, shrubs and plants in your yard, it’s absolutely amazing.

Ron and the Sperry crew saved us from a potential disaster as a one of our Douglas Fir trees had cracked at the base and was heading towards our neighbors house. Three other companies turned us down due to the difficulty this situation posed. Within 2 days, the tree was secured and removed with no damage to anyone or anything. An amazing job done with precision and professionalism. Rob in the tree and the successful finale.

Excellent team. Did a great job cutting down two smaller trees plus a 90’+ fir tree that had to be chunked down. Great cleanup. This is the second time we have used them.

Sperry Tree came had to cut down our very large, but unfortunately not healthy. Ash tree was done quickly and they cleaned up all the leaves. The front yard look beautiful.

All of the professionals(Alby, Shinoah, and Keagan) we worked with were extremely courteous, competent, and full of knowledge and willing to share it! I appreciated all of the education I received and will be having them back in the future. They trimmed all of our fruit trees and did an outstanding job on our weeping willow.

Andrew was expert with his pruning and clearing of a huge and invasive kiwi bush from my very tall camellia shrub. The finished product was beautiful. He dissected well one large bush from the other. Safety first was also very important to him. He did it all well.

Third time we've used Sperry. I find them to be knowledgeable and hard-working. Great job on pruning, tree removal and clean-up. Pricier than some, but worth it in my opinion.

Excellent experience. The Sperry crew took down a 110 ft tall Douglas-fir with red ring rot next to our house. They did it safely, efficiently, and made sure the site was clean after completion. Well done!

Over the years I've used a number of tree and landscape services. I've settled on Sperry. Over these l last few years, Sperry has provided excellent work. Their crews are knowledgeable, you are included in the decision making, even checking in with you while preforming the job. They arrive prepared for the job. They do a wonderful clean up. The Sperry Tree care crew did an excellent job 'compacting' my huge oak tree and the removal of a China Willow that was out growing it's spot in my yard. They did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards and putting my hanging plants and things back in place too! Thank you so much!!

Sperry comes annually in the early fall to trim our 36 tree arbor vitae hedge. It looks beautiful and I appreciate the tips they give us to keep it strong and healthy. Sperry is the best! The trimmers are always punctual, professional, and very courteous. They clean up everything behind them and make our backyard look great!

Alby was so helpful evaluating and giving us suggestions on how to protect and save a special Hemlock tree that grows very close to the lake we live on in Florence. We hope we can keep it from leaning further and potentially falling due to the water's undercutting of the roots. Thanks again Alby

Very happy with the work Sperry does. They were here yesterday and trimmed my trees just as they said they would. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves AND the internet companies who had left piles of branches in the street. Staff were great and communicated well. I have used Sperry for years and am always pleased with their work.

Ryan was awesome. He came out first for a consultation/assessment, looked at basically every single growing thing in our yard, educated us, reassured us, didn’t try to sell us on anything in particular. Can tell how much he loves and respects the trees. At the end of the consultation we were absolutely confident in having him back out for a pruning/teaching session. Fruit trees are looking spiffy, Ryan’s a good guy, fun to have around, really knows his stuff, good teacher.. couldn’t recommend him and Sperry more highly. Above and beyond.

We could not have asked for a better arborist experience! From the person who first answered the phone when we called, to the person who came out to look at our work that needed done, to the crew of three who did the work they were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. The work was perfect: removing a 40+ year old Elm tree, trimming up some younger elms, and beautifully trimming back a neighbor’s gigantic walnut tree that was over our carport and onto our roof. Asa, who looked at our project, asked just the right questions and listened well, then the crew implemented the plan exactly as we’d wanted! We will use Sperry again!
