The technician, Warren, did a great job. Very thorough, patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Mine is an older unit and we discussed the alternatives of repair versus replacement. Decided on repairs at this point and he checked the entire system and acknowledged that because it was a cooler day, he may have to come back to "fine tune" it. I would definitely request him for service again in the future.

John gave me the quote. He was very professional, friendly and a great listener. Explained everything in detail. Price was excellent, lower than all 6 quotes I received. Greg installed my new hvac system. He was professional, friendly, eager to answer questions, worked very hard and cleaned up really well. He did an excellent job. Would recommend him for all hvac installations and maintenence. I will continue to use their services in the future.

This company and it's front office person (Dallas) and service repairmen are stupendous (Oren, Mike and Gregory). We have had them fix a couple issues on our furnace and Oren did an amazing job trouble shooting and fixing our overhead patio gas heater. I cannot say enough good things about this company! Thorough, prompt, affordable and really nice people!

This company is absolutely amazing. The service of Charlie is unmatched. He came back, he drove to another store, he showed up early, his communication was excellent. Business card on the fridge! Absolutely recommend, if there were more than 5 stars, Charlie earned them.

I called to have the heating and refrigeration unit checked. When Charlie came, he was honest and told us that the weather had to warm to 65 degrees before he could check the air conditioning unit. I appreciated his honesty as another company could have charged me for both units and not let on that nothing was done on the air conditioning. He was prompt, personable and a pleasure to work with. We have used Century for furnace installation and maintenance and always been very pleased!

Century Heating & AC are the GREATEST. Always dependable and efficient. Whether new installs or maintenance...they are the best.

They installed my mini split during the summer of 2022 and have been such a pleasure to work with. I had some questions after instillation and they answered them immediately. During the winter there was ice build up on the fan and I worried that it caused damage; they came out right away to make sure the fan was still in good shape (it was!). Everyone I have interacted with has been professional, kind and responsive throughout every step. Highly recommend!

Rowdy came out to fix our broken furnace and had it diagnosed and repaired in an hour. Everytime I have used Century I have been impressed with the professionalism and expertise.

Charlie (lead technician) was great at troubleshooting the issue, got us back into heating and cooling modes in a flash. We really appreciated Century’s ability to schedule us as quickly as they did.

It's been my pleasure to contract Century Heating and Cooling twice in the last year. Their service people are top notch and professional. They talk to you not at you and give you an honest assessment of your needs.
Additionally, Marnie is a pleasure to work with. She squeezed us in earlier for some much needed service in July. She is responsive and has a great attitude. Thank you for making this an easy experience.

If you are looking for honesty, integrity, professionalism for you heating / AC service needs, these are the guys.
Two weeks before Century come out I call another company to service my furnace, just for a simple cleaning and boy was I shocked when they told me that my unit had to be replace very soon as well as my A/C unit because they could not service as it had an old type of Freon. They told me that it would cost me S16,000.00. I also asked this unnamed local company if they could install an air purifier that I had purchased on Amazon. They would not because I did not purchase it from them and they could not warranty it. I said I was not looking for a warranty I just wanted it installed.
At this point I was just looking for a company to install my air purifier. I was shopping at Gresham Fred Meyer and saw a gentleman wearing a Century Heating jacket. I stopped and asked him if they installed air purifiers. Rowdy, said just call the office and get it scheduled. But the best part of my story is yet to come.
I’m sorry to say I have forgotten the young man’s name that came out for the install but I will never forget the service. The young man installed the air purifier in less than 20 minutes and explained, in detail why he thought I did not need to replace my furnace at this point and that he could pretty much fix anything that might go wrong with furnace and A/C units.

Our HVAC stopped working unexpectedly last night, called Century Heating about getting someone out to take a look. They fit us into the schedule, same day, and were able to address and fix problem right away! Very communicative, friendly, and really helped us out.

Amazing HVAC company!. They fixed and resolved all the issues I had from a previous companies faulty installation and service. Wonderful staff (Stephanie) and technician (Rowdy). They worked with me on getting appointments to work, diagnosed the issues and fixed it in a timely manner. My go to for any HVAC issues in the future! Thank you agian!

Had the crew out on 09/08/21 to retrofit our gas heating system to add central AC. They were right on time, very professional and friendly, and did an excellent job with the installation.

As expected it was pretty much an all day job but they did a great job making sure it was all clean and professional looking, the typical mess from construction was all cleaned up and everything was tested to ensure it all worked before they were done.

I quoted a couple different companies for the job and Century was the most reasonably priced, so they were who we chose, and definitely don't regret the decision. Highly recommend them.

Century Heating was one of three bids that I solicited for the installation of a ductless heating system for the upstairs portion of my home. They by far took the most time and effort during the bidding process to understand what I really wanted and to come up with the most thoughtful and efficient solution for me. They were very responsive to all of my follow up questions and were quick to schedule once I let them know that I wanted to proceed with the work. Their installation team was very thoughtful, respectful, and did a fantastic installation job that looks clean and professional. I will definitely be a return customer.

I took 3 estimates for a new AC system. Century estimated and installed our new system within 2 days!!! They are pros.
The crew was respectful, knowledgeable, and clean. The price was also good!! I tell everybody to call them for their
Heating and AC needs. Quality matters. Customer service matters. Value matters. Century has it all.

Original post: Our home is aging, just like us. We wanted to be sure the house would be attractive to someone else if and when we sell.We had used Century Heating to install our a/c unit when we moved into the house in 2005 and chose to use them again since we were pleased. John J. and Rowdy B. came out to give us a bid. It was nice working with familiar people. The three gentlemen they sent to install, Charlie M., Greg B. and Mike M., were awesome and fast! They talked us through the parts we needed to know (like setting up the thermostat). They were scheduled for 2 days but completed in one standard day. I realize it's not always possible but the turn around from when John and Rowdy came out to when the system was installed was short - about 2 weeks! Will definitely continue to use them!
Update 2022: Charlie came out to do maintenance on the heating and air conditioning. Not only did he do a superb job but he's a supper interesting guy to talk to - full of information!

Update September 2024: Owner Rowdy came out with his daughter, Helena, and made short work of the inspection. Everything is now in tip-top shape for the winter season! I can't give these guys enough kudos! They are everything you want from a business and much more. Thank you for your work that keeps us comfortable year around!

Our fifteen year old Ruud heat pump died and I contacted five different HVAC service providers for assistance. I received seven different bids (as two of the five service providers submitted two bids per my request), bids for single stage HPs and bids for multi stage extra capacity high SEER2 rating HPs. In my discussions and research I ultimately went with Century Heating and A/C. Charlie their technician is incredibly knowledgeable and their team was able to deliver a Friedrich 18 SEER2 variable stage heat pump for less than some of the single stage bids I received.
The one day installation went great! It is not easy retrofitting a new system, but their attention to detail and overall communication during the day was excellent! The new system is quieter and sleeker than my old HP by a mile! It is functional with my Nest thermostat. I’m excited to see how it performs this winter - as we’re not far from Mt. Hood. Century Heating and A/C so far have been fantastic to work with and they offer a lifetime workmanship guarantee for their work supplemental to the manufacturers warranty! So far I’m very happy with my decision!
