Ilya and his apprentice came on time to install my emergency generator connection. Both were efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Everything worked perfectly and they even spent time instructing me on the generator operation. I would highly recommend Portland Metro Electric if you need friendly and efficient professional electricians.

Tech was friendly cooperative competent and efficient. He even blew out the leaves and dirt from my garage, just to be nice.

We had a fantastic experience with Portland Metro Electric. I started building a backyard studio years ago and I wanted to make sure it was done correctly (up to code etc) and we had a technician from PME come out and do the initial wiring amongst the framing. He suggested I finish the walls and then call him back. It took so long for me to do my part on the weekends that the follow up was with his brother years later! Even with such a long time having passed the combo of the siblings' work is stellar. Both gentlemen listened to our questions, made it clear what we needed to achieve the results we were hoping for and conducted themselves with a delightfully old-fashioned air of friendly politeness. It was a fantastic deal and I'd highly recommend these folks for your home's electrical needs. Five Stars.

After a string of bad experiences with contractors, working with Daniel from Portland Metro Electric was like a breath of fresh air. Communication was quick and clear, he shared the cost up-front (and the final cost matched his estimate to the cent), he arrived precisely when he said he would, and he was super conscientious while on-site—he made sure we were comfortable with what he was doing, wore shoe covers w/o us having to ask, and cleaned the work area after he was done. In short, Portland Metro Electric gets my highest recommendation—I'd absolutely hire them again & would recommend them to friends and family.

Portland Metro Electric helped us out when we were under a tight deadline and in a difficult position with a home sale. They were professional, timely and excellent with their communication. Portland Metro Electric is fantastic. Daniel was prompt in getting back to us and answered all of our questions. Ilya did the work, which included replacing our whole electrical panel. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He did such great work that even the city inspector complimented the installation of the new panel. I highly recommend Portland Metro Electric and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Dave was exceptional in meeting our need to have our old chandelier removed and the new one installed in our 18 foot ceiling. He was professional and easy to communicate with and quoted a very fair price. The electrician who came to our house and did the work, Drew, was completely wonderful and did an outstanding job! We will hire Portland Metro Electric in a flash for anything electrical in the future.

Gave them a call first thing in the morning and a tech was able to come out the same day. Daniel was great. Professional and fast. We talked and he was able to identify the problem and had the part on hand to fix. He answered all my questions quickly and was a pleasure to help us.

I called three places before speaking with Daniel from Portland Metro Electric. They were all charging more and didn’t have any availability for days. Portland Metro Electric was the cheapest and were able to show up to my residence within 3 hours of my call. They fixed my problem, tested the whole house for failures and were able to walk us through how to use the power in our home more efficiently. I highly recommend them if you need an electrician in the Portland metro area.

Portland Metro did great work on our house. We had quite a bit of wiring to do in our newly purchased ‘50s house: install bathroom fan; install level 2 EV charger; run wire for an electric range and electric water heater; and add a box for a light fixture in the living room. Daniel was great to communicate with through the whole process, and Ilyo and the crew did a great job and left the space very clean, even after cutting into drywall. 10/10 would recommend.

Daniel from Portland Metro Electric was on time during the visit to install our Tesla gen 3 wall connector for our Model Y. Daniel was able to install the wall connector completely flush with the wall immediately next to the breaker box and it looks like a new construction install. Additionally he swapped out 4 old fluorescent shop lights for standard bulb LED lights. Amazing job, extremely clean and very professional. Communicated well before arriving and throughout his visit.

I would highly recommend Portland Metro Electric. We recently remodeled our kitchen and David did a great job. He did everything we needed, demo of the old electric wires, new recessed lights, pendant lights, switches, installing the hood and he even fixed our power meter! He is reliable, always on time, attentive to details and overall he did a very solid job!

Had a FANTASTIC experience when Danny came to wire up our new hot tub! We originally had another company come before we found Portland Metro and they did an awful job but than Danny from Portland Metro came and fixed everything!

I met Daniel when I was looking for a generator install for a church project. Daniel responded promptly. He was punctual and stayed in communication with me through out the project. The work was fairly priced and the was outstanding.

Because of Daniel's professionalism, when I wanted to do a generator install and another lighting at my house, I called him.

I have been a homeowner for over 40 years and have dealt with many contractors for home repairs and maintenance. My experience with Daniel at Portland Metro Electric was one of the best I have had. I was having some electrical issues and decided to have the main panel replaced. After getting two estimates from companies that did heating, cooling and electrical that I thought were high, I decided to get an estimate from a smaller company that did only electrical. My thinking was that their overhead might be lower and therefore more favorable pricing.
The panel that was being replaced was over a foot higher than code. Daniel’s estimate included time for splicing cables which the lowering might necessitate. As it turned out, this was not needed and Daniel adjusted his price accordingly. I doubt that many others would have done the same. I would have had no idea that such splicing was not necessary, and as his original estimate was significantly lower than the others, I would have been happy to have paid it. I was very impressed with Daniel’s honesty and professionalism. It goes without saying that I would highly recommend Portland Metro for any electrical work.

While the problem with our heat was not the thermostat like we suspected, Daniel from PME came by, was incredibly nice and patient and switched out our old thermostat for a new one, while diagnosing and overcoming problems that he encountered. If the boss is reading this, give Daniel a raise!

Daniel and his colleagues Ilya and Daniel were extremely helpful and professional. The job was done well, on time, and at a reasonable cost. They were particularly attentive to design and aesthetics. We will use them again for other jobs.
