I had standing water in my yard and water in my crawlspace, and my thought was to get a French drain. Jorge from New Generation, whom a neighbor recommended, arrived and the first thing he did was to check my downspouts, and he found they were not carrying water to the street. Tree roots had broken them down and water would flood under my house. He gave me a three-part, detailed estimate, part of which was a French drain and part was the correcting of the drains to the street. He explained if they were able to solve the problem with part one of his estimate, part two would not have to be done; and, true to his word, on the second day of the work he announced we could go with the simpler plan, saving me money. I was extremely pleased with his honesty. Some concrete had to be dug up and then replaced -- it is done perfectly. Two trees and a large bush were removed and they took care of that at a good price. All work was cleaned up at the end of each day. He also checked my irrigation to see that it worked after the job was done and even put down complimentary fresh bark dust to finish the job. Jorge is a gem and he also has a great crew. They are efficient, prompt, knowledgeable, hardworking, polite and friendly. Jorge is willing to explain exactly what needs to be done (sometimes patiently more than once!) and is careful about outlining expenditures. His work is guaranteed for two years. I very highly recommend Jorge and New Generation Landscape.

Contacted Jorge as a result of a referral. Left a voicemail message and Jorge returned my call the same day and within a couple days, he was at our residence to review our project. We needed a retaining wall and steps replaced due to rotting wood material. Jorge had an estimate to us within 24 hours which included Allen Block and steps, and walkway from our front side yard to our back yard. Amazingly, the project is already complete and looks fabulous. Jorge and his crew are wonderful and very accommodating. Glad that we made the connection!

Jorge and crew did a retaining wall build for us this spring. The team was easy to work and communicate with and the wall was constructed efficiently and soundly. We are very happy with their work and would enjoy working with New Generation for future landscaping projects.

Our backyard came out. Jorge has excellent design and vision and he executed it flawlessly. He was very patient in coming up with various options, ideas and plans. I would recommend him to anyone!!

Jorge and his team were amazing. They showed up on time. They worked hard each and every day to finish the project on time. They were able to adapt to minor changes to our plan along the way. I can't say enough good thing about their abilities. The project was not an easy one. Our backyard was basically a sloping hill. They built up a retaining wall, leveled the landing, added sod, installed a very complex irrigation system, built steps using slabs of blue stone, added stone to a couple concrete walls, planted about 300 plants, and built an amazing fence. They were on top of it from start to finish.

I was referred to New Generations and Jorge by my neighbor. Jorge has done a couple of projects for me, most recently about 2 weeks ago. With each project, Jorge has provided me with his honest opinions and suggestions and my projects always come out beautifully. He is thoughtful, respectful and has a fantastic staff. I appreciate Jorge's vision of a complete project. Highly, highly recommend!

Look no further if you need landscaping and hardscaping done. We had a full backyard remodel (demolition and all) completed by New Generation Landscape. I can’t begin to express how happy we are with our new yard, paver patio, flagstone fire pit patio, sprinkler system, and the thoughtful design that went into everything. Jorge’s team was punctual every day and was always available to chat about anything. If you want a professional team to design and create your own oasis at an extremely competitive rate, seriously consider this company. 10 stars, hands down.

Saw their work at the Street of Dreams this year, and called them. I am so pleased with my new pond, lights, rockery and fabulous plants.
They transformed a mess of a backyard into a thing of beauty - in a week! Jorge and crew exceeded my expectations by far and had many great ideas. Honest, hardworking, dependable, genuine and professional.

I highly recommend giving your next project to Jorge and his team. I did stone paver in my backyard. The price is very competitive. The communication with Jorge is easy. The crew showed up on the day planned and kept it going till the end. The construction is very sold and they pay attention to small detail too. The crew answered my question patiently and I never worry about corner being cut. As other reviewer said, the result is better than I expected. I had a very good experience and hope you do the same.

We found Jorge with New Generation through the 2019 street of dreams. We had several companies bid our project and he was by far the most creative and genuine designer. The project was completed on time and on budget, we couldn’t be happier with our end result! If you are looking for a landscape company, that will give you a great design at a great price, look no further, these guys are the best.

I highly recommend New Generation Landscape. We asked for help on a very weedy, poorly draining section of our yard. Along with fixing the drain issue, I wanted a natural stone pathway with native landscaping. Jorge new immediately how to fix the draining issue and the landscaping is better than I could have ever imagined. Huge wow! I can’t wait to spend time back there now. We also had them add a paver extension to our patio and create a fire pit space. It all looks great. The crew is amazing! Very friendly and meticulous about cleaning up at the end of the day. We’ll definitely have them back for any future projects.

Update: A few years later and the yard looks great.

Our backyard was a blank page, and we knew what we were looking for, however most companies were limited to just pavers, and would not build us what we were looking for. Our next door neighbor recommended NGL to us, and Jorge came out and we worked together to draft plans that met our vision. He was able to effectively execute what we wanted - a raised concrete wall with trees inside. We wanted clean straight lines throughout, and he made that happen for us. We are very happy with the backyard. When issues have come up with irrigation, plants, etc. he has been very responsive to address any concerns. The contract comes with warranty on the plants, irrigation, etc. - and he's great about taking care of things after they're done. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to do custom work.

Had a great experience with New Generation for a complete design of our backyard - pavers, pergola, bench, fire-pit, plants, trees. They responded quickly for an initial estimate, gave us a design and worked with us to tweak it to our liking while providing their experienced suggestions. The pricing was was reasonable and competitive. The job itself was completed on-time, and their workers are skilled, pay attention to details, hard-working and take care of existing plants just like theirs. Jorge got the approvals necessary for gas connection to fire-pit seamlessly. The bench in our backyard and the water-body receives complements from almost everyone. Would recommend their services to anyone!

We are so pleased with how our front and backyard landscaping turned out! It is simply gorgeous! Our project included a new irrigation system, sod, a creek-like water feature with 3 waterfalls, landscape lighting, paver pathways, two tall trellises, 2 large raised garden beds with irrigation, plants, shrubs, and trees to create an inviting retreat with privacy. Our expectations were exceeded by New Generation Landscape! Owner Jorge's vision for our space was perfect. He took all we were hoping for and turned it into the yard of our dreams. In the draft we were hesitant on a few things (wired landscape lighting, keeping an old, overgrown Japanese maple, and the paver pathway), but in the end he was absolutely correct. These decisions took our yard to the next level! The lighting at night around our Pacific Northwest inspired water feature and foliage is breathtaking. Jorge and Maria were always quick to respond with questions and concerns and were very communicative throughout the process. We airways felt heard and that our concerns were important. The work crew was professional and very skilled. We highly recommend New Generation Landscape! We are now using them for our weekly yard maintenance and are pleased with this service as well. Jorge & Jose helped us with our backyard project during summer last year. My wife and I designed it and they executed pretty well. Work quality is great. Overall we are very happy with their work! We recommended them for backyard work to our friends.

Jorge designed the most amazing yard for us! I had some ideas of what I wanted and got quotes from a few very good landscape companies. Jorge not only gave us the most competitive quote but, he also had the best design. He included more than we originally asked for so we could see all the possibilities. He was able to show us all the potential our yard had to offer. When we wanted to change or not do something, he was so easy to work with. His crew was professional and courteous, easy to work with and very fast. Jorge was on-site almost everyday and checked in regularly to ensure that we were happy and that all of our questions were answered. They completed the job on-time despite the unpredictable spring weather. Jorge literally did things I was thinking of before I could ask him to. We had a terrific experience with Jorge, Marcos, Silver, Angel, and the rest of the crew. We had all our grass removed and replaced with gravel walking paths and planting beds. We also had some work done on our in-ground irrigation system. Jorge came by each day to touch base and check the work, and his team executed perfectly to plan.
