I needed an outside light fixed and wanted a timer installed. PDX Electric did the job quickly, they were responsive, on time and super knowledgable even though my house has wires from two centuries ago. Would highly recommend!!

PDX Electric did me right. From the office staff, to the estimator, to the electrian, the value I place on punctuality cannot be overemphasized. My project was a little tricky. It required a deep understanding of the red tape I was caught up in, and a delicate interfacing with the city. Other companies either didn't call me back, or wanted several thousand dollars. If I hadn't found PDX Electric, I would still be looking for them.

My experience with PDX Electric was one of the best I've had with a company in the trades. They provided a thorough estimate at an affordable price, within a reasonable time frame. They showed up on time and got everything done in one day! I was certain it would take several days to a week+ and somehow they managed to knock it all out in one go. On top of that, both the technicians and the administrator who I dealt with were great communicators and very friendly. I would highly recommend PDX Electric.

I’ve used PDX Electric for multiple jobs at my property and I couldn’t be happier with their work. All the employees have been friendly and accommodating, and they’ve been very communicative about timelines and work being done. The city inspector even complemented them on the tidiness of their cable runs. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician in the Portland area.

Responded to a mailed promotional discount card (Dec 2020). 1st time using this company, appointment scheduled promptly and we took “first available” time slot (approx 2 weeks out due to their seasonal workload).

Dave arrived on schedule and worked efficiently and skillfully. We had 2 exterior outlets and 2 exterior lights to install, all completed in about 2 hours. We are very satisfied with the work & cost; Dave is a nice guy, too!

My wife and I recently had to replace my electrical panel. We had used PDX Electric many years ago when we first purchase our house and had a very good experience so we decided to use them again. I am so happy we did!

The quote process was easy and painless. I just sent photos of my old electrical box and received a formal quote by email. The electrician did a great job, was very careful and thorough, and was happy to answer all my questions. I spent over 21 years as an electrical engineer so I can appreciate good and careful work. The person who answers the phone was very positive and helpful. I appreciate that she was able to squeeze us in their very busy schedule. Hiring a contractor is always a risk. But sometimes you come across a real gem like PDX electric. I would use PDX electric without hesitation.

My fiancé and I hired PDX electric to complete some work that was found on our home inspection. Not only did PDX electric complete the work quickly and for a reasonable quote/price, the electrician that helped us (Dave) went above and beyond to also just teach us about our new home! As first time home buyers, we had a lot of general questions about our new home. Dave was able to answer all of our questions and more in a way that wasn't overly technical or confusing. I had a very positive experience with PDX Electric. Tyler was a top notch electrician who effectively and swiftly resolved an electrical issue I was having and upgraded my electrical outlets throughout the house. He was punctual, had great attention to detail, and did terrific work. All of my issues and concerns were resolved and the final price was fair and competitive. In addition, the office staff is very friendly and they did a great job of getting me scheduled and communicating about the service. I will not hesitate to call on PDX Electric again. My Realtor recommended this company based on her past experience and I used them shortly after purchasing an older home to install new service, fix wiring issues, and have additional outlets added. Their army of workers showed up on the dot, did their magic, worked with plaster walls through tiny holes to tie into existing wiring, noted what was possible due to code and got creative in tricky spots due to the age and location of previous wiring of the house. PDX Electric was very competent and I couldn't be happier with the work. Highly recommended, would use again.
