Very happy with the work! Carefully removed tree without damaging property or landscaping. I have used two other tree services in the past, but PDX Tree Service is so far the best by far! Highly recommended!

My neighbor was having the trees between our houses trimmed. I could see they were doing a great job on my neighbor’s trees, so I asked if they could include my trees as well. Not only did they accommodate my request but they did a wonderful job. And they blew the pine needles/debris off the roof. Everything was cleaned up beautifully. I highly recommend PDX Tree Service!!

3 trees moved and 2 large trees pruned. Great team and professional equipment. Did a great job with permitting.

I can’t even remember the last time I came across this level of professionalism. I felt like I went back in time to when people took pride in what they did. Incredible experience. Everything we talked about during the estimate for the 120’ fir removal was exactly the way it happened on the day. What a concept! The entire crew was a well oiled machine. Super nice guys. Great communication throughout the whole process.
Have a tree cut down by PDX Tree Service even if you don’t need to. You won’t be disappointed.

This company is exceptional! They did a great job. Very impressed with their work ethic. Only criticism would be timing of our job. Jamie did a great job of scheduling of the job but a few hiccups .

PDX Tree Service did an excellent job on removing a large cedar that was leaning over our home. Other companies we contacted seemed hesitant about even taking the job. PDX Tree Service made the job seem routine. Very professional and on time, not to mention their quote came in lower then all of the other bids! I highly recommend PDX Tree Service!

PDX Tree Service did a great job with two large trees near our house. They told us exactly what we needed to get approval for in our suburb. They were very professional the entire time and completed exactly what they said they would complete. Working from home, we were able to see a lot of the process and they always looked like they were being very careful not to cause any residual damage.

Josiah and his crew took down a walnut tree and removed hanging branches from a doug fir for us. The crew was friendly, professional and they clearly knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves and left our yard nice and clean. We asked Josiah if he could make the walnut tree stump into a chair, which he did for no extra cost. Speaking of cost, the price was very reasonable. We would definitely use them again!

I have used PDX tree to trim 5 very old cherry trees and remove one that became sick with Blight. Cannot say enough good about these folks. Not only are they very easy to work with, communicate before, during and after the job, meet all expectations on time and cost, they do a wonderful job from start, during, and great clean up. They are also very conscious and place a high importance on safety for the crew and the property they are working on.

I have a very large overgrown tree that’s been needing a good prune. These guys were professional, quick, and did a great job cleaning up! Thank you!

We had a tree partially fall due to wind - leaving a 75’ portion on the ground and the remaining 100+’ damaged tree standing. Josiah and the crew that came out were fantastic! Very professional, timely and responsive. Good pricing as well, I had a few quotes and they were very reasonably priced. We had a large tree in the front of our house on a busy street close to the powerlines, a fence and both our house and the neighbors in a tight spot and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend them for any other services required.

I was so impressed after I saw the PDX crew in action removing a large Maple tree from my neighbor's yard that I immediately got an estimate for the removal and stump grinding of a large spruce in my front yard. The estimate was very budget friendly so I scheduled the service. Best decision I could have made! This company was very easy to work with. The crew was extremely friendly, professional and they obviously knew what they were doing. I couldn't believe how fast that tree went down and it was a pleasure to watch them work. When grinding down the stump the team took great care to make sure the utility lines in the area went undisturbed. The area was swept clean and ready for planting. Knowing that I wanted to replant another tree in the same area, Josiah even took the time to discuss several possible options. Thank you all so much! You did a fantastic job!

Amazing service from Josiah and his crew! Not only was Josiah responsive and competitively priced, his work was impeccable. He and his crew took down a very large Douglas Fir that was dangerously close to our home. It was an enormous tree, but his crew had the knowledge to safely remove it without damaging property, and they were the only company willing to do it without a crane (which likely would have ruined our driveway at great expense to us). The crew cleaned up entirely every day and took extra care to protect our roof, siding, fence and lawn.

I’ve had other trees removed and trimmed by other companies and their responsiveness, professionalism, safety and cleanliness of the job site didn’t come close to PDX Tree Service. I’ve already personally recommended Josiah to several of my neighbors who were happy with their services as well. If you need tree work done, this is the first and only company I bet you’ll need to call!

PDX Tree Service did a stellar job removing two trees and pruning several others on my property. I highly recommend them. They showed up on time, had all the right equipment for the job, and the entire crew were polite and professional. It was obviously watching them work that these folks really know their business. It was also apparent that they were not looking to get the job done as fast as possible, rather, to do the job the right way, even if it took a little more effort on their part. I especially appreciated how much care they took to ensure their workers' safety and that no property was damaged. One of the trees they removed was leaning over the roof and the crew was exceptionally careful to take it down slowly and a little at a time to ensure the house was not damaged. I made a last-minute decision to change how I wanted some trees pruned, and the work crew was flexible and accommodating and handled the adjustment without any fuss at all. I also appreciate that they are a family owned business that provides great customer service on the billing/scheduling side of things, too. Overall, PDX Tree Service is a great value, because you get top-tier service for a middle-of-the-road price.

Amazing work from this crew! Had to bid farewell to a beloved but sick maple tree in my front yard, and needed very tall firs (century-old) trimmed in the back of and over my house. The crew was wonderful. Josiah, the owner, is one of the nicest and most generous people - he was kind and attentive on either side of the work. And Jamie in the office was super communicative and delightful. Honest, humble, hard-working. Would highly recommend them for any work you have.

Josiah is great, and so is his crew! They were on time and enjoyable to work with. Professional, quick, and flexible! Bid was for removing 2 trees, and once on site I decided to take out another one and he even thinned/ trimmed one up too! My neighbor saw his great work and hired him on the spot to trim one of his. He is a 2nd generation arborist, very knowledgeable about tree health, not just there to cut everything down! I learned a lot and am going to hire him to do some work at my parents and my grandpa's. He has climbers and also has a bucket truck to get tough to reach places. Definitely highly recommend! Thx Josiah!

Hired to take down 85ft+ red cedar which sadly succumbed to heat and pests. Would 100% recommend. Very prompt in coming out to quote. Very reasonable price. Professional and courteous team who took great care in making sure nothing was damaged in the process and cleaning up the area.
