We are very happy with Renhard Heating & Cooling. Our problem turned out to be very minor, they repaired it and didn’t even charge us. Most companies would have charged a service call, but they said no charge. They weren’t able to get up our road for the first appointment due to snow, they communicated immediately to let us know they couldn’t make it and then scheduled us for the very next morning. Very good customer service.

If you want a company that is honest and displays integrity…choose Renhard Heating and Cooling. Loren came out to our house and wasn’t trying to “up-sale” us. He explained everything and actually let us know we didn’t need to buy right away. I really appreciate family owned businesses like Renhard.

They did great! Scott and Loren got me fixed up quick, replaced two pressure switches and now all is working great! Fast turnaround and very very fair pricing, can’t recommend enough!

We came across Renhard to get a second opinion and comparison quote for what seemed like an astronomically high and unnecessary HVAC equipment replacement bid in response to a simple regular service request from a largely marketed company on a 7 year old system. We were shocked and called Renhard. Renhard was so professional, knowledgeable, honest and decent. They educated us on a few minor repairs and maintenance plan to prolong our current equipment rather than trying to sell us using fear to buy a completely new, unneeded and expensive system by a brand they happen to carry. Renhard has been a great find for our gas furnace, AC, minisplit needs, you name it, and we won't ever use anyone else.

Lance from Renhard Heating and Cooling came out and immediately diagnosed our heating problem. He is knowledgeable, professional and just a plain nice gentleman.

Working with Loren and his team was such an easy and pleasant experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this company! Our old furnace went out in December and he had us up and running with a brand new furnace and added AC within several days! He was so helpful selecting the right equipment for our old 1909 home. I can’t say enough good things about Loren and his team! They are a family-owned and operated business that truly stands behind their work. In 2023, they replaced my heat pump, and when it wasn’t working quite right, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed properly. Without hesitation, they replaced the system and kept coming back until it was running perfectly.
In this day and age, it’s rare to find a company that exceeds expectations in every way and leads with honesty, professionalism, and genuine care for their customers.

I called during a heat wave because our air conditioning was blowing warm air. I was so pleased when they said they could come out same day. Victor came out to service our Heat pump. He was very professional and friendly. Within an hour of the appointment, our home was cooling down beautifully. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need arrises.

I am a huge fan of Renhard Heating and Cooling, and have used them for new furnace and AC installs for both our home and rental property. They are responsive, punctual and offer great value for their services. My furnace went out at 8:00 PM, and they were able to replace within 12 hours.

I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the Renhard team. They are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and will be for certain the first I call with any refrigeration needs I have.

Last May Renhard Heating and Cooling did an excellent job installing our new WhisperKool refrigeration unit for our wine cellar. Heidi, Tannyr, Jeral were great! They even covered our floors before starting work.

As the weather got warmer the refrigeration unit would not maintain the required temperature on hot days (Refrigeration unit problem). I contacted WhisperKool and they required that a temperature differential test be performed that necessitated partial disassembly of the unit. I informed Renhard of the issue and they had a technician out here in a couple of days to perform the test. Briannah and Lance are great to work with. When I asked for the bill for the work they said it’s part of the installation follow up. No charge!

Woke up to no heat and was so grateful and impressed by the fast response that same morning and by the excellent service we received. Loren, Lance, and Heidi all went the extra mile to make sure our heat was quickly restored. I highly recommend this local family business. Best customer service I could have hoped for.

Got problem of heating malfunction during snow storm. I was terrified to be out of heat for many days! They responded to my call immediately, diagnosed a problem, ordered a replacement part.
They also showed me how to re-boost the system to get the heat back on.
Their team and services are very professional. Everyone is nice and the bills are affordable for 3 visits and part.

Loren and his team from Renhard did an excellent job of installing my air conditioning system in my wine cellar. They were able to complete the work in spite of some challenges in the installation.

Loren came back shortly after installation to make sure the equipment was working properly and took the time to insure that all of the important parameters were recorded for the warranty. Loren and his team did a great job.

Had to get some maintenance done on our mini-split due to pooling/leaking water. Very easy to book a time for a maintenance person to come by, only a couple days. Victor came as expected and did some routine checking and found that the hose was too low and not allowing water to pass through correctly. He suggested a water pump to remedy the problem, along with another which would move the whole system down. After giving me the solutions, he allowed me to choose and gave me the estimate of how much it would cost and when he'd be able to come back to install. I chose to go with the pump solution he advised for. Within a week he came back and installed with no issues. During that whole time I was helped by Heidi as well, keeping me updated with scheduling. I was really impressed by the communication as well, texts and emails of scheduling and how far the technician is. All in all, Renhard made it really easy to fix our problem. Will definitely be working with them in the future.

Loren came out to provide the bid promptly. His visit was professional and he provided a bid in a very timely manner. He was able to provide a solution to my problem at a cost several thousand dollars below my other bid.
Heidi was very efficient in scheduling a followup visit and Lance came out and corrected a thermostat problem.
Renhard is a very well run company with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Refreshing in today's environment.

Overall experience was excellent. Loren provided multiple options and explained each. The crew was on time, friendly and answered all of my questions. They thoroughly cleaned the job site before they left too. Add to that prices that beat most competitors and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Renhard Heating & Cooling and their entire staff were great to work with recently when we needed an estimate and replacement of a very old furnace. My mom's furnace went out near the middle of December and she lives alone and is on a fixed income. Though not able to come out same day Renhard was able to come out to review and estimate within a few days and were able to provide multiple options for us to consider given my mom's situation. Once we decided to move forward with replacement and using them they scheduled us in quickly and were punctual and professional in their work. They were able to get here system replaced just before the weather turned very cold of which our family was thankful. My mom very much appreciated the service provided and wanted to especially thank, Loren, Tanner, Lance & Koby (sorry if not correct spellings). We are thankful for your business ethic and service to us on this issue. If you are looking for a reputable and quality heating and cooling provider they are worth a call.

My heat went out right before going to bed last night. I called at 7:30-8am, got a hold of a gentleman name Lauren who could come around 2-4pm. He called me at 10am and said he could make it early. Was at my house in a few minutes, diagnosed the issue. Found the part in north Portland, had another sales guy pick it up, had it delivered and installed by 2:45pm same day! Praise the Lord for Lauren and his efficiency and ability to get the part we needed to us in one day instead of his origional estimate to have it done in 28 hours! We didn’t have heat in the 34° weather. So grateful he cared for my family like it was his own! Now my two kids little kiddos don’t have to freeze tonight! So so grateful! Highly recommend! Ps this was our first time going through Renhard’s heating! We will be calling again!

Prompt and helpful service. Lance was the technician, he did a great job communicating what was going on during the process and educated me throughout. Very knowledgeable and professional, easy scheduling and incredibly fair price. Will be the only company I use moving forward, 10/10.
