Friendly, affordable and great work

Curt was very friendly, and very helpful.

Curt has helped us on a couple of rental properties. He does great work and was even willing to show us some plumbing tips while he was there.

Had a shower that needed to be converted from a three handle to one handle. After trying to get my job done with several other plumbers with no luck, I finally called Yore Place Plumbing. They got back to my request for work very quickly. The price I was quoted was less then I was quoted from other plumbing companies that would not even show up to do the work. Curtis showed up on time to do the job. He took the time to answer questions I had about the work. I highly recommend Yore Place Plumbing and will be calling them first for any future plumbing work that I may need.

We had a leaking hot water line in our crawl space, discovered by an A/C maintenance technician. My husband didn't think it would require a lot of work, but didn't have the time to figure out what pieces he would need to fix it. All the "major" plumbing places were booked out 5-12 days, and we were headed in vacation the next business day.

Curtis Leonard of Yore Place fit us in the same day, even offering to deliver the necessary part and explain how to do it ourselves to save money! Such a nice guy. I just had him do it for us (it was indeed a quick fix), and he said my husband could call him later with any questions. The other available plumber wanted to charge an extra $100 "crawl space fee", even though the crawl space is almost big enough to stand up (we live on a hill). Curtis charged us less than half of that quote. He will be my first call the next time we have any plumbing needs, emergency or otherwise!

I contacted Curt Saturday morning. We had two units in Newberg without water. City shut off the water because if a leak. Our emergency service called 15 other plumbers Friday afternoon and no one could come out, not even at double time. Curt said he would be there between 10-12 that day. He warned me he couldn’t guarantee he could repair the issue. He found the issue got, got the water working and all for $150! Thank you Curt. He will get more of my plumbing business.

Great Local Plumber! -- I meet Curt doing the remodel work on a Local Down town property. He does high quality work and can do much more than plumbing. If you need a solid plumber or local handyman he is the guy to call.

Nothing but great things to say about Curt with Yore Place! Plumbing. Super fast to respond and show up! Not only did he remove the clog in the drain quickly, but he provided me with the knowledge of parts to replace and how to avoid future issues like this. I needed an uncommon under-the-sink drain part which was only available at plumbing supply stores out of town. When calling Yore Place! Plumbing in Newberg, hoping they might have the part, I reached Curt who happened to be at a plumbing supply store. He said he didn't have the part in his inventory, but if I sent him a picture of it, he would get it while at the store and I could pick it up from him when he was back in town. What a very nice thing to do for a perfect stranger. Sure enough, he let me know when he was back in town, I picked up the part at Yore Place! Plumbing, and was good to go with replacing the part. If ever you have any plumbing issues, Curt at Yore Place! Plumbing should be the one to call.

Not a full service plumber

I called a left a message on a Sunday needing some work done. I then called again 4 times Monday and another 2 times Tuesday and never got a call back. Bummer because I wanted to support local and I live right down the street.
