I started to look around for a new cleaning service after being repeatedly disappointed by some of the well known companies around town. I asked friend who is a property manager who she uses when she needs a place cleaned after a tenant moves out and she turned me on to The Shiners - a local Portland cleaning company. These guys ROCK!!! They sent out two cleaners who after meeting them I found out were the owners, Jared and Stephanie. They were polite, professional and trustworthy and most importantly, they made the place sparkle! My appliances (stove, refrigerator, microwave) look brand new again and the tile in the bathroom was cleaner and brighter than I have ever seen it. They also used homemade cleaning products which smell amazing! I can’t wait for my next Shine!

The Shiners are the solution to every problem I’ve had with cleaning services in the past. They are professional-they show up on time, ready to shine and provide receipts. They are detail oriented-they never forget to dust windowsills or sanitize light switches. They encourage feedback-if I ever find something I want cleaned after they are done, I let them know and they go back and get it. They are truly all natural-they use homemade all natural cleaning solutions and I love choosing an after shine of essential oil spray, palo santo or sage when the shine is complete. They just get it. This is what having your home cleaned should be.

We always look forward to our shine from Torrence! He is always thoughtful and attentive. He is so professional and kind. Our house is always left spotless and smelling so good. I also really love the products that they use. Couldn’t recommend this company more!

The Shiners was the only cleaning business I've used that I thought was really using all-natural ingredients consistently. My house smells so amazing after they're finished. They actually make their own product and I was actually able to buy some amazing spray from them.

Iv'e used them several times and they come through exactly with what they promise. They are the quickest cleaning business I've ever used and Stephanie (the lady who actually cleaned my house) is sooo nice too and it always felt safe and comfortable leaving and letting her do her thing.
I also really appreciated that she tidied up everything but not in a way that moved everything out of place.

Also, I highly recommend them and definitely use their energy balancing cleanse. I swear it works!!

We've been using The Shiners consistently for a little under a year and couldn't be happier. I sought them out for the use of eco-friendly cleaning products and continue using them for the great service.

The same woman cleans our house each time, it's great to have started a relationship with her. She knows our house, our dogs and even keeps an eye out for dry house plants. It doesn't feel like a company is coming to clean our house, we have a relationship with the person.

There is no way I'd be able to get my stovetop as clean as they do. I highly recommend using them!

I highly recommend The Shiners team! I actually had a poor first cleaning, with some areas missed entirely, but I spoke with the management team and instead of making excuses they did all the right things to correct the situation. This level of customer service made me want to continue using their services! I’ve had four cleanings since then and no issues. The teams are great with keeping animals indoors, too. Looking forward to having them in my home for years to come!

The Shiners are the best. From friendly and timely communication to lovely competent cleaners to the fabulous green products they use, they are a joy to work with. I particularly love the smell of my freshly cleaned home, with the mild scents of essential oils and Palo Santo adding that final touch.
