All reviews for Seymour General Contracting

Andy, Wes, and the team did a fantastic job with my remodel and bathroom addition. I live in a historic home which poses its challenges, but SGC had the expertise to tackle them, and they maintained a high standard of craftsmanship across trades. Best of all, Andy and Wes stayed in communication with me which is not the norm in this industry. I love my home more and more every day… thank you!!

Andy and his crew were excellent! In addition to to work happening quickly and expertly, the crew were kind and so helpful. I will use Seymour for all house work I need in the future. (And FWIW, this is the second review of anything I've ever left on the internet- they are that good.)

Very fast and professional. Reasonable pricing.

Andy is great! Will definitely be doing more projects with him.

I’ve worked with Seymour several time in the last decade. Always a great experience. Professional and experienced.

Finally I found a great repair and remodel company. I give this company 5 plus stars if 5 is the limit. Excellent work, great value, the works! Can’t recommend them enough.

Andy and his entire team is extremely customer service oriented. They understand that clients have deadlines and unique property problems to solve. Total client satisfaction is their aim.

Seymour General Contracting is a great company to work with! We have worked with them for many years and enjoy the constant communication, friendliness and overall knowledge that they provide.

After contacting several construction companies Andy with Seymour went above and beyond expectations. From start to finish of the project he help mold the way to a clean and quick remodel. I will definitely be calling them back for phase 2 of construction.

My son and I are extremely pleased with the quality of work and speed in which our job was completed. Our newly purchased Victorian house needed 2 new staircases as well as other repairs. All of this was done quickly and creatively. One staircase (to the basement) was originally so steep it looked like a ladder - Andy and his team designed and built a new one with landings and handrails that is both beautiful and easy to use in order to get to the laundry room. The other staircase went to the second floor. The original one had uneven steps, inadequate headroom and was also dangerous to use. The new staircase is gorgeous, safe and provides ample headroom . We are very pleased with the final product. They also renovated the mudroom/small room that leads to the backyard - by adding a new door, flooring (and leveled it) and sheet rock on the walls. It all looks great.

I had the pleasure of working with Seymour Construction, and I can't say enough good things about their services. After extensively researching different contractors and receiving quotes, I found Seymour Construction to offer one of the most competitive bids in the market.

Andy, the point person for our project, was not only professional but also incredibly responsive. He patiently addressed all of my questions, which is a rarity in the contracting world. What truly set them apart was their consistent communication throughout the project. I've had experiences with other contractors who tend to go MIA, but Andy and his team were always there when we needed them.

One thing that impressed me the most about Seymour Construction was their willingness to go the extra mile. Andy didn't just stick to the project at hand; he also provided valuable advice on unrelated projects. He even made himself available after hours to help with small tasks, which was a game-changer for us.

Furthermore, their team's competence and willingness to accommodate our requests made the entire experience a breeze. We requested a few changes along the way, and Seymour Construction never hesitated to make those adjustments without any fuss or pushback.

In addition to our main project, Seymour Construction has completed other projects at our house, and the results have consistently been top-notch. They are responsible, keep the work area clean, and go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Seymour Construction to anyone seeking a reliable, competent, and customer-centric contractor. They exceeded our expectations, and I have no doubt they'll do the same for you. Choosing Seymour Construction was one of the best decisions we made for our bathroom projects.
