Really needed a fridge looked at and ran into Pete in a parking lot. He took the time to take a quick look at my problem, grabbed a few tools and came to my rescue. Fixed the problem on the spot with a smile and a very reasonable charge. This is the essence of great customer service. Commercial refrigeration is highly recommended. Ask for Pete for your service tech.

My experience isn't about service, but it sure is about good honest people. On Friday....the Friday two days before we leave on a 3 week camping/driving trip, I was running errands and my purse fell out of my car onto the street unnoticed by me. In it was my phone, my driver license, our credit cards for the trip etc, etc. Once I discovered it was missing I ran around for a heart pounding hour or two retracing my steps. But MARK, an employee of Commercial Refrigeration, not only found my purse, but delivered it to my house! Thank you thank you.

Seldom do I every give a review, but today I need to shout out to Scott Sworden and his team. Another high five to Cris, who spent an immense amount of time helping me replace a freezer compressor in April. I know I am leaving out others that have been professional, friendly, attentive and who have gone beyond today's customer service norm. Thank you so much! I appreciate all of you!

This company has taken great care of us and is always extremely responsive when we are in a tight spot and need service quickly. They stand behind their work and will come right out if there is an issue. I cannot say enough about them and their customer service. I would definitely recommend them.

I wish the entrance/exit was more convenient but the access to hwy 84 is unmatched.

Better experience, still need to fix some things but they are doing/trying to be better and that's appreciated.

The place isn't much to look at but they have about everything you'd need, with a fantastic friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Can do a good job, just be careful. While having them fix a two door fridge, another part was broken and they are refusing to fix it.

Tried to get them to show up in 2021 and it was a 3 week wait and tried again 2 weeks ago and it's a 2 week wait. How can you wait 2 weeks for your walk in beer cooler?

Not a great commercial refrigeration experience. Purchased a new 1800# ice machine storage bin from third party dealer, Commercial Refrigeration Inc. was subbed for the installation in Portland. All phases of said installation went bad. First they improperly installed the drain resulting in a leak. Secondly they placed the unit darn near flush against the wall resulting in extremely poor ventilation, ultimately causing the high/low limit switch to flip. Needless to say we called them out to fix the issues.. So what does Commercial Refrigeration Inc. do, well they decided to charge us an additional $900 for the repairs.

This was the first and only time I've done business this company at any of the three businesses I operate in the greater Portland area. Do yourself a favor, use a different refrigeration company!

Called in to ask for an estimate on fixing the light in my refrigerated display. The guy who answered sarcastically asked "You want a quote for sending someone out to change your lightbulb?"

I can only wonder what the rest of the service will be like. I'll find another repair service who actually wants my business.

I called on a Thursday to find out when they could come look at our 2 door freezer that was not working. The earliest they could make it out was the following Wednesday. I asked what time and they said open ended- could be anytime. I finally called at 4:30pm on Wednesday when no one had arrived, to find out if there was anything coming. The lady who answered took down my information. She said she couldn't see the schedule but that I would be called back with an update. I specifically asked if I should continue waiting and she said that I would get a call. I called again at 5:15pm and it went to their answering machine because they were closed.
I get not being able to get out to a place. But if they had just called to update me, this would not be a problem. I am very unimpressed, and reading other reviews now it seems to be a chronic problem. I do not recommend them.
