Matthieu was awesome, he was professional and easy to work with. Taylor, the office person, was awesome a well. They were very helpful in getting things through the counties hoops.

Hired Mr. Electric to put in a generator and so far they've been awesome, snappy, excellent at communication, and totally professional. Jose, Bill and Matthieu have been the best, and wow am I glad I saw their truck at my neighbor's house and talked to them - they were my 3rd quote and none of the others were nearly as good. Highly recommended for sure!

I initially wanted to have our door bell replaced with a regular button, as It had a delayed response going through my phone.
We requested the electrician to look over our outlets in each room, garage. and patio. Turns out most of them were considered fire hazards due to being “loosie/goosie”.
He looked at our main panel, showed and explained why it would be a good idea to replace the out-dated electrical panel.
Mr. Electric’s work has given us better peace of mind, as I have a fear of house fires especially since I experienced a chimney fire years ago.
Mr. electric was focussed and very organized and meticulous, but never minded when I watched or asked questions.

The whole experience was great! From the first phone call to having the electrician arrive and take care of the problem we had with professionalism. I was very impressed at all steps.

Over the past year we have been doing extensive remodeling of our "new" (1983) home, which was in need of a variety of electrical services: new lighting in the kitchen and garage, restructuring of our ethernet network, and the extension of electrical and internet services to a new addition on the property. Over several encounters we had with them, the company has proven their responsiveness, competitive pricing, and quality of service. On his first visit their electrician Bill conducted a general safety inspection, provided us with a good understanding of the condition of installed equipment in this 40+ year old house, and recommended repairs we could do according to our budget and the safety risk each presents. He listened carefully to our goals and made good recommendations of solutions and materials. The work was then carried out on a schedule that was both timely and flexible. As a courtesy, he also addressed minor issues that were discovered as the work was progressing. We are very satisfied with the work done and the integrity of the services provided. Highly recommended.

I had a light switch and a breaker fixed as well as a breaker swapped for a new one and a whole house surge protector added. All of the work was done very quick with it taking less than an hour. It also ended up being pretty cheap considering it was parts and labor.

Mr. Electric has been a reliable and trustworthy partner in upgrading our home electrical panels and installation of full home GENERAC generation which provided 48 hours of s100 amp service during recent wide spread power outages. Don’t put it off - get your home electrical panels current - we replaced several Federal Electric panels and I would do it again given the outcome of these two projects.

Our electrician, Ethan, was knowledgeable and communicated clearly about our project. He worked hard to sort out some odd issues with our older home, and was informed about the options. I feel like the overall experience was terrific.

Great experience with Mr. Electric! Matthieu was professional and friendly. He quickly switched an outlet to make it compatible with my Tesla mobile charger and explained everything clearly. Excellent service—I highly recommend him!

I moved into a house that was not wired for my gas dryer. Mr. Electric came out and put in a new line from my panel box to my laundry room.
They did an excellent job.

David did an excellent job on my property. It was a complex project that required the disconnecting, rerouting and reconnecting of every single circuit in my home. He also installed a new breaker box and ground rods. He is highly skilled and professional. Highly recommend.

I had a light changed out in my guest room. I called Mr. Electric and they sent out Tim V, who inspected all the outlets in my house and changed out my light and replaced it with a caged ceiling fan/light. He went above and beyond because once he got the new light up we realized that one of the fan blades was hitting one of the bulbs. Tim took the light back down and determined one of the arms holding the bulb was loose and not positioned correctly. I thought I was going to have to return the fixture. Tim took the light apart and fixed the arm. He was a very nice person to work with.

We’ve had an issue with this same outlet years ago and a different electrician “fixed” it, but didn’t get to root cause. Bill pursued it into the wall and discovered a lot of scorched wood and insulation, caused by a long nail that was intermittently arcing. Scary stuff. Bill was prompt, thorough, knowledgeable, courteous, and left the repair site ready for caulk and paint. I feel so much better knowing it’s really fixed this time.

Competent, professional, courteous, and friendly from start to finish. It was a joy to work with Brandon (office) and Bill R. (electrician). Bill called to let us know his expected arrival time. During the estimate process, we discussed several projects and his knowledge kept me from making a mistake on a future project. The estimate was broken down into cost for each project making it easy to understand and to decide on which projects to do when. Bill was highly skilled, working fast and steady. He installed 4 dimmer switches, replaced a ceiling fan, and took the time to troubleshoot a problem with another ceiling fan. We will happily work with Mr. Electric on the rest of our projects!

As always, Jose who manages my generator is awesome! So kind and so efficient I would recommend him and his company to anyone. 🙂

Working for a general contractor in the area quality control means a lot to me. Mr. Electric, Ethan, did some of the cleanest and most professional work I have seen in years. To top that the city inspector said he knows if it says Mr. Electric that it’s going to be a great inspection. I can not thank you guys enough for helping my family out in a dangerous situation with our melting main panel box. I appreciate your level of communication, professionalism, and the speed at which you completed all of this work. I will definitely be recommending you guys in the future!

From the initial quote to the install our experience was fabulous! Bill, Jose and Matthieu were all very professional, experienced and genuinely nice people. We would and will totally recommend Mr. Electric of Salem! I recommend getting several bids if you are considering a natural gas generator. We had 4 bids and Mr. Electric was the best!

Huge thank you to Bill for going above and beyond with my ADU project. It was amazing to have the lights turned on just in time for Christmas. It was so very apparent that he takes thoughtful pride in all his work. He showed up when he said he would be there and acommodated my schedule. Highly recommend, great service!

Mr. Electric is definitely a company you should use for all your electrical needs. I am an electrician myself from Canada. My mother in law needed her smoke detectors looked at and she lives in Salem. I called Mr Electric and not only did they fit her in the same day, you get proper notification on who the tech is and what time they will be arriving. I am extremely impressed with the knowledge of the tech and their professionalism. I will definitely use them again and so should anyone in that area or areas they serve.
