Belfor is a professional company with integrity. They subcontracted a new roof replacement 6 years ago after a tree fell and did substantial damage. 1 year later it leaked next to the skylight. The roofing co put tar on the corner of the skylight which worked for 5 years. Then during heavy rain this winter I had water dripping into my home again coming from the same spot.

I called Dyer skylights to reflash the skylight. Once they removed the flashing and shingles they discovered the felt was missing above the skylight which, of course, is the reason for the leak. Jeffery from Dyer offered to call the roofing co and let them know of the workmanship error. They refused to do anything about it since so much time had passed.

I called Allstate to let them know what was happening and they called Belfor (the original contractor). Belfor contacted the roofing company and convinced them to come out and correct their mistake. Needless to say I was very impressed with Dan at Belfor for fighting to have the roofing company fix the issue due to poor workmanship.

Dan also offered to repair the interior water damage around the skylight. I am amazed and appreciate the effort done by Belfor for stepping up and taking care of this problem. They could have easily said sorry too much time has passed by but instead they chose to stand up for their reputation

I would highly recommend them as a company you can count on.

This is the 2nd time in 3 months I needed a remediation company. The 1st time I used servpro. This time I used belfor. What a difference! Our basement floor that was flooded is spotless. Servpro, not so much.

Belfor repaired the damage to my home after an accident. The repairs that were done were fast and of good quality. The project manager, Jason, kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. I would recommend this company.

I had a wonderful review written up but apparently Google does not have a sense of humor. I was going to rate Belfor a fat 0 when James was working with us. Our house fire was in July and James didn't do much from July until November/Decemberish. Around this time, James was gone and we had a new PM Jason R. He was absolutely amazing. He apologized for the previous PM we had and assured us he would make this right. We gave him a date of April that we wanted to be back into our house, which essentially gave him 4 months to make a miracle happen.

I'm happy to say that we were in by April 27th and we love the work he put into our house.

So, again, I would have given a 1 but Jason pulled through and he alone deserves the 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

The guys were great. They showed up when they said they would. They came within hours of my initial referral. My excellent insurance, Amica, called to recommend them and Balfor was already alerted and waiting for my call. Excellent coordination between insurance and first service to ascertain the condition of my initial call. They had the instruments to assess and I could read the numbers as they explained them. They went under the house to check for water damage, following up on the instrument assessment. I was updated at every step of the process. I was left with three big drying machines that had the water issue totally under control as well as removing damaged cabinetry which I also inspected and agreed with. They wrote up the recommendations they were planning on submitting to the insurance company. I felt confident and calm about the entire process. Considering I would face all the obstacles of having to replace cabinets, countertops and flooring, my initial experience with a potentially hazardous situation was handled well before any damage was done. Yes, I"m glad to recommend Balfor. I felt in control and well informed of the process.

Working with Belfor was wonderful. They were very professional and did everything to make sure my home was restored properly. Lead by Dan Pruneda, Joe, Ryan and the rest of the crew saw that every detail was taken care of completely. In September, due to a burst shut-off valve, we came home to a flooded laundry room that also has gotten into our hallway, 2 bedrooms, a closet, and a den. After shutting off the house water valve, we immediately began sweeping water into the garage and grabbed our carpet cleaner to extract water. In the meantime, Gary contacted Belfor Restoration for help. In no time at all, two big vans and crews arrived with extracting equipment, dryers and dehumidifiers. The plumber also came right out to cap the laundry sink, the source of the leak. This was in the evening. Fast forward a couple months later, we give each and every person at Belfor a 5 star! Everyone worked diligently, from the office to the restoring staff, through each phase needed. Expectations were above and beyond. We're thankful to meet and know such talented and nice people! They actually restore peoples' lives. Also, Belfor's work with our insurance company went smoothly. This could been a long nightmare, but because we had a capable and caring company to work with, all turned out great. Our damaged areas look beautiful. Thanks, Belfor!

After a large structure fire, I contacted BELFOR to help secure the property and deal with the water in the building. Not only was this early in the morning, it was also on a holiday. From the first phone call, I knew that BELFOR was the right decision. The response time was fantastic and the crew was so helpful. Tim arrived to the location and was informative about the next steps. Erik went above and beyond to help my tenant's retrieve their belongings inside the building and even drove a vehicle out of the garage. Denton kept me updated on the process and let me know when he found a missing cat in one of the units. The entire team worked tirelessly on securing the building and making sure that all my requests were met. Thank you all for your amazing service! I couldn't have asked for a better team to help us through this mess.

We had BELFOR come out after our sump pump pipe came apart and flooded our whole basement. We really appreciated how professional the mitigation team was and how careful they handled all our belongings during pack out. Demo was handled quickly and efficiently and Daniel did a great job with hanging all the new drywall, taping, and texture. Denton and Dan were both easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any questions with what we believe to be full transparency. We would certainly use them in the future if needed.

Mike saved us! Our project had languished for eight months. He swooped in and had it finished and perfect in less than a week! Incredible speed and service and he always went the extra mile trying to get us the best deal possible. Seriously a modern day superhero. You’ll never regret working with him!

No one ever wants a house disaster! For us, it was a leaking water pipe under the house that was spraying up toward the foundation. We called our insurance agent as soon as we discovered the problem and his associate recommended a good plumbing firm in the Albany area, and Belfor Property Restoration in Eugene/Springfield. We did some research and learned that Belfor is an international ‘soup-to-nuts’ firm that offers mitigation, restoration and repair following building disasters of any size and type (water, fire, wind, etc). So after we had plumbers fix the leak, we contacted Belfor and shortly began working with a Mitigation work crew who assessed the situation, removed the wet insulation and other material from under the house, removed the contents of the two rooms affected, and pulled up the damp carpet and flooring. They also left three big dehumidifiers running for 5 days/nights to make sure everything was good and dry. Next Natalie, their experienced Estimator, came to our home to discuss the work that had been done and the scope of repairs we would like them to do. She also worked directly with our insurer on our claim, which progressed in a timely fashion. Once our insurance claim had been processed, we were ready for the Repair phase, which included insulation & ductwork under the house, and inside the house new subflooring, drywall work, painting, the laying of pad, carpet and flooring, and moving everything back into the rooms when done.

I don’t think we can say enough positive things about the people we worked with at Belfor – from Dentin, the mitigation supervisor; to his able work crew including James, Patrick, Ezekiel, Juan, and Elizar; to our estimator Natalie; and to Dan, the repair supervisor who stayed in close contact with us during the final phase. Our biggest surprise was that the ‘repair crew’ turned out to be Jose and Alfredo, who did a great job replacing all the insulation under the house, and one very talented individual – Daniel – who did nearly everything else. Daniel W. worked in our home for five days and not only was his workmanship superlative, his kindness, cleanliness, and quiet proficiency was a balm to our frazzled nerves!

Our sincere thanks go to all of you at Belfor for answering our many questions, being so responsive to our requests, providing such talented craftsmen and fine workmanship, always being Safe during this time of Covid-19, and helping us through such a challenging process.

Our home is even better than before thanks to your care and expertise!

Requested an emergency smoke restoration service as a restaurant manager, and they came out within an hour and quickly got to work, despite the service call being outside of regular business hours. Enormous drop in smoke smell by the next morning. Their crew was friendly, professional, and worked quickly. It's clear they take their jobs seriously. Kept great lines of communication, and put a heavy emphasis on getting the job done right. Hopefully I won't need any property restoration in the future, but if I do, I will be happy to work with Belfor again.

We had a sizable leak in our living room that made it's way down to the garage. Marc and his team of Miguel, Ryan and Josh did an outstanding and very professional job of bringing everything back to a pristine condition. I hope we never need their services again but will certainly recommend them to any neighbors and friends that experience property damage. I can't thank them enough.

Ryan is wonderful! He worked tirelessly in the heat to complete our bathroom. It’s always an odd feeling having strangers in your home all day but Ryan didn’t make us feel like that at all! Ryans craftsmanship is excellent and his dedication to complete a job is top notch. I can’t say enough great things about Ryan! Marc was very easy to work with and goes the extra mile in communicating! He went out of his way to meet me several times to complete paperwork! Wonderful experiences from them both! Belfor is a professional company offering to give you back what you lost and then some. I am very pleased with the work that was conducted due to water damage in my bathroom, which extended throughout my bedroom and walk-in closet. In particular, the mitigation team was extremely courteous and careful while packing up and boxing my things, moving furniture, etc. Also, I was impressed with how quick the demolition process took. Lastly, the restoration and repair process was made a priority in terms of getting the right materials and keeping to a tight schedule. The remodel was completed within a week and the finished product is beautiful. I am happy to have utilized Belfor from start to finish. I appreciated the professionalism and frequent communication by all crew members and project manager. Thank you!

I had Belfor out to do some insurance work for water damage at my home. Another company has done the water mitigation, and then Belfor did the repairs.
I will say that I almost gave 4 stars due to the time it took to begin the repairs, it took a couple of months to get started. However, given the timeliness once the repair did start, the end result, and the excellent communication along the way, I'm giving Belfor 5 stars.
Khayman did a great job of coordinating the repairs, which had some tricky aspects to it.
Daniel at Belfor was a great carpenter and really detail oriented in putting it all back together.
I thought Belfor did a great job, and I trust and would recommend them for construction jobs.

Two years ago a fourplex that I own suffered an arson-caused fire that resulted in extensive damage to the building and a large insurance loss. The project was just recently completed.

Although I am a long-time remodeling contractor in town, in this case, having expert help dealing with the insurance company and the negotiation involved in getting a fair settlement was critical to the success of the project.
Denton Brown was extremely helpful in developing a repair estimate, explaining the nuances of the loss, and navigating the complex insurance decisions that were required during the course of the project. Jason Reeves, the project manager, did a great job with the rebuild. His communication was excellent and his responses were timely. I thank them both for their help in bringing this project to a successful completion.
