The Hillside Garden crew are hardworking, good humored, friendly, considerate, respectful, experienced, and fast. i have nothing but praise for them and am always impressed with their efficiency and industry.

AAA+++++ We happened upon Hillside Landscaping by seeing their crew working on a neighbors yard. I got a card from a crew member (very nice guy), emailed requesting a quote. Amy was super responsive, seamless communication, and Bret came out that week to do the estimate. He did a walk through with us and we were provided with a detailed estimate in a few days. We got in quickly due to another project schedule change. The crew showed up and completed our job in just a few hours. Super clean, fast workers, and our yard was spotless when they left. Bret was even able to do another estimate while here, for a future project. We are very happy and will definitely be working with Hillside again.

I have been using Hillside Landscape for several years. Over the years they have served three home in the Portland area. They have always been extremely dependable, professional and willing to always make sure the customer is happy and satisfied with the work done. Communication with the team has always been excellent and the owner has gone above and beyond to provide services. Prices have always been fair and competitive. I highly recommend this service.

Hillside has maintained my too big yard for many years. People walking by have complimented me on how nice the yard looks - they should be complimenting Hillside - not me. Besides regular weekly maintenance, Hillside has done some special projects in my yard, some I requested and some their landscaping eye suggested would be a nice addition. Hillside wants to do a good job and please. I am glad I found them.

After scheduling with Hillside landscape Maintenance they sent out 4 very nice workers who were fast, friendly and efficient. We have a pretty large yard and with all the debris from multiple storms they had the job done within an hour. They even checked with us on our satisfaction before leaving which I really appreciated. We will definitely schedule with them again.

Hillside Maintenance has been my go-to service for winter clean up for several years & I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. Their work is thorough, professional & ever so friendly, and they will work with you to find the most affordable project for your needs.

Very happy with the monthly landscaping service and the recent one time gutter cleaning that Hillside Landscape Management did at one of our properties. They also noted recommendations and other larger grounds projects (with photos!!) that they would suggest to keep our building in tip-top shape. Very happy with them!

Working full time and unable to put in the hours of work needed to get my yard looking even semi-professional, I definitely needed to reach out and get some help. Hillside was so professional from start to finish. Amy was so kind and courteous when setting our project up, and the team that came out to do the job were top notch! They were able to take last minute changes and take it in stride with no issues at all. My overgrown mess was turned into a beautiful sight in a little less than three hours! I hired Hillside to help me manage my quarter acre property that I'd let get out of hand. The admin staff is extremely responsive and so friendly—I was scheduled for a consult right away. Bret came out and spent ample time with me walking around my property, talking about my projects, and answering all of my questions. As a young, female home owner, I've dealt with my fair share of tradesmen who don't take me seriously and are often condescending and rude. I was worried I might encounter this in the landscaping world but Bret was a true pleasure to work with—carefully considering every problem I threw at him, and making me feel like a partner in the job of tackling my yard.

The work itself was done skillfully and quickly, the crew was so friendly, and my yard has seriously never looked better. But what's been so impressive and stand-out to me about Hillside has been the excellent customer service they provide. You can tell they are good people who really care, and honestly that's hard to find these days.

It's been a huge relief to have this task taken care of on the regular, the cost feels fair, and my only regret is that I didn't call them sooner.

Hillside has done my yard work for over 15 years. They maintain my lawn, do an annual major cleanup and pruning, clean my roof and gutters, inspect and fix my sprinkler system and turn it on in spring and off in fall, and most recently I've added keeping the gardens weed free. I'm always happy with their work and love that I can just rely on them taking care of it all. If I want something new done or have questions, I email Amy and Tabby. They're always friendly professional and helpful and then things just get done without any additional effort on my part.

I recently started using Hillside Landscape Maintenance for regular maintenance and I'm impressed. During their initial weeding, they were careful not to disturb our existing roses and plants. Their team is always thorough, respectful, and detailed. When setting up service, Amy communicated clearly and efficiently and always made us feel at ease. We love Hillside Landscape Maintence, Inc.! We've been clients for several years for a monthly need we had spring and summer. We just began turning over our total yard maintenance to them this past spring when we couldn't keep up. Not sure if or when certain blooming shrubs were going to get cleaned up before fall, I reached out to inquire. Not only did I hear back in a timely fashion, the shrubs in question were taken care of on our next maintenance day, which was today! They look fantastic, all neat and tidy. I have used Hillside for years, and they are absolutely the most trustworthy, thorough, and wonderful folks! You absolutely can’t find better!

I procrastinated in the Fall when I should have had my gutter cleaned and a moss treatment on the roof. After the long drawn out rains in December and the beginning of January I was tired of clogged gutter and spots when rain overflowed into the garbage cans. I contacted Amy at Hillside Landscaping and she and the crew were able to work me into the schedule in a few days. The crew showed up and went to work. They were efficient and diligent in completing the work. I was surprised at how good the clean up portion of the job went toward the end. I have always received great service by the Hillside crew and appreciate the speed and excellent job of this project. 2025 resolution is not to procrastinate in the Fall and schedule the gutter clean up timely!

Reached out to HLM as I wanted to get some regular lawn maintenance. They responded quickly & got me on the schedule for a quote. Brett came out to see the yard and asked if I wanted any tree trimming which I did. I got the quotes for both the next day, signed the paperwork and they were here the next day! They were fast & efficient and my yard is on it’s way to looking much nicer. Definitely recommend
