Had the opportunity to speak with Andy Madden. I was impressed and I would highly recommend him for any services you need.

Madsen installed a hot water heater in my home and the job was smooth despite how difficult it was to maneuver the unit into our basement. The technicians were very professional and cleaned up when they were done.

Last year Madsen renovated my Master Bathroom and they began renovating my Hall Bathroom this week. They have extremely knowledgeable employees and I trust their advice. I highly recommend this company - you will not be sorry!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Madsen three times now. As a new homeowner, the first time to encounter various issues with your home, it is stressful to find great service people. Madsen has assisted us with a repair to our AC unit, a furnace tune up and now a hot water heater replacement. Each time they were able to come quickly, are friendly and help education the home owner by explaining and answering all questions, and are prompt! Everyone has been a pleasure to work with!

My wife and I stopped in at Madsen's to look into getting a major bathroom remodel. It was a strange experience. We walked in to an empty store. We walked around for several minutes before seeing a staff member. Someone finally came out and we explained what we wanted help with. He said he would get someone to help us. I guess his job was just to find sale staff for customers. The salesman was decidedly disinterested in helping us. He showed us one sample and had to be repeatedly prompted to show us a second option. I feel like if we are going to spend $100,000 at a store, they should want to help us find the right design. Clearly we will be shopping elsewhere.

Incompetent and useless. Multiple trips and still can't fix the heat

Multiple trips and couldn’t fix my system.

Van 17 almost merged into my friend on the highway.
-
Utterly incompetent and unprepared to solve issues other than something straight out of the textbook. This is a firm that has gone greatly downhill over the last few years and now resting on a reputation from a previous generation.
-
Older gentleman almost ran me off the road twice! Not sure about services.

Called and inquired about a Heating problem I was having. at first, I was told they would send someone without charge then would be given an estimate on the spot. Later, they then tried to charge me $95.00. I do/did not expect a free service call. however it is very disapointing to see that they tried to get a job, then change the details, sure enough the lady wasnt very kind or objective in her argument with very child-like sarcastic responses. I HAD NO PROBLEM PAYING $95.00 as that is a standard rate anyone would have. They did not do the job so I cannot speak their quality of work.

They charge me $200 to inspect my toilet the spent 10 minutes ofter bringing a different plumber every thing they said was wrong was not true I called and the woman who answered was rude and sent me to the service who was more rude and told me to find a new plumber these small service businesses forget the past when things that busy they never made good on the bill I paid for them doing nothing

Went in to browse as I am adding a new bathroom and need to purchase all materials. Intended to inquire about their design services. The employee was demeaning and rude. I left and went to Avalon flooring who were amazing.

One of their plumbers came to look at a wall mounted plate which held the faucet in my bathtub wall; the faucet itself had broken off. He said he didn’t know the brand of the wall unit so he’d go back and find a similar one; he’d call me the next day; I was charged $128. Two weeks later, not having heard, I called them; they were still searching.
One week after that, I called again—they were still waiting. I told the Services operator I’d look for another plumber if I didn’t hear from them. Her response was ‘I’m Ok with that.’ I then searched Home Depot and found a wall mounted unit that looks suspiciously like the one in my bathroom.
What business charges $128 just for showing up and doing nothing? Aside from the total lack of communication from them, it appears they want to go out of business with their rudeness to potential customers. -
I just witnessed their van cutting off other vehicles, weaving in and out, and way exceeding the speed limit on 95 and the Commodore Barry Bridge.
