We cannot say enough good things about Josh and Adam and the work that they did in our house. Josh immediately received our call on a weekend day after a scary electrical incident in our home and was able to come out the next day to remediate the problem. They ended up completing extensive work in our home. I have never seen two home contractors work as hard as Josh and Adam with efficiency, courtesy, and empathy. Pricing was thoroughly explained and very fair. We appreciate their hard work ethic, and they will be the first electricians that we call in the future!

Burke Electric is the most reliable, professional and reasonable electric company in the Pittsburgh area. Josh takes pride in his business and always leaves your home as clean as he found it. The work speaks for itself and I would recommend them to anyone.

Josh showed up a couple hours after I called, right when he said he would. He diagnosed our problem, then quickly and efficiently fixed it. Josh took pictures and explained everything he did. He even refused to put his shoes on inside the house even though I told him it was ok to leave them on. Highly recommend Burke Electric. We will use them for any issues moving forward.

Burke Electric did a great job for us. I called and asked them to install a Tesla wall charger for us in the garage, and they were out that day to provide us with a quote. They were fast and efficient and got the job done. I will use them again for any electrical work we need.

We hired Burke to do some electrical upgrades around our home. They were very easy to get ahold of and communicate back and forth with; They showed up on time and had the work done in less than a day. We also appreciated how well they cleaned up before they left. Thank you for the great work!

Josh responded to my request and came out the same day to diagnose an issue with a disposal that was tripping. Unfortunately, a previous contractor had incorrectly wired the disposal outlet in a very dangerous manner. Josh came up with a solid fix, and had the work scheduled and completed with-in one week. I will keep Burke Electric on my speed dial for any future electrical needs.

Josh was very prompt and professional. He quickly diagnosed my issue and corrected it. Also corrected an additional issue that was going to arise while trouble shooting. Pricing was very reasonable for the work. I have no problem recommending him and I will use him again in the future.

We have used Josh and his crew for numerous jobs including installing recessed lighting, installing an entrance cable, installing outlets in the garage, upgrading a panel box, installing lighting in the entranceway and dining room, installing ceiling fans, and installing vent fans in two bathrooms. Josh is responsive, pays attention to detail, and his prices are fair. Josh is the only electrician that we use for electrical projects and highly recommend him for any electrical job you may have.

Josh and his team replaced our electric panel, installed a new entry way light fixture, bathroom exhaust fan, and some general electrical wiring/fuse troubleshooting in our recently bought home. Recently bought a new home and had a few issues that needed to be addressed. Had been recommended Josh/Burke Electric through a friend and the work ethic speaks for itself. Josh showed up and knocked out all issues in the same day. Any electrical issues or needs I have I will be using them.

I sent Burke Electric a note via Facebook Messenger on the evening of Sunday 12/22/24. Josh replied within minutes with an appointment request for me to complete. I then submitted my contact info.

I grounded out an outlet and it caused an issue in a line in the garage. Garage doors and refrigerator would not work but some lights did work. Other lights were dim. As a precaution, I turned off the breaker to the garage.

Josh fit me into his schedule for the next day which was 2 days before Christmas. He found the problem and it was a burned up wire. Josh made the repair and put everything back into order as it was.

Josh is very knowledgeable about aluminum wiring.

I called Burke electric to have work done in my home. I called the number to see about setting up a quote and they actually answered the phone. No automated system or prompts, just the owner picking up the phone. I had a quote done in 2 days and the work scheduled and completed within 7 days.

The owner came out to meet me and his electrician at the start of the job and made sure everything was correct at the end also. He accommodated a couple of last minute changes, ordered parts and finished the work the same day.

Work completed included running a new line from the basement panel to the back patio, adding a new line in the garage, and even replaced a damaged washing machine cord I haven’t had time to get to. Great guys. Real friendly.

Burke Electric are not only knowledgeable with the ability to resolve complex electrical issues but they also go out of their way. After the completion of a dedicated circuit for our hot tub, Josh himself dropped off a pigtail connector. Professional, good pricing, and does what they promise.

Helpful and honest! I contacted Burke electric with my house electric going dim then bright and flickering. Josh looked at photos and directed me on opening a case with my electric provider who showed up same day and fixed the issue! I'm betting most would have come to my house and charged me time and labor and I would have paid because I didn't know what the problem was. So very nice to know there are helpful, honest companies out there and I won't hesitate to contact Burke for any other problems or projects.

Burke Electric has done great work for us at two different locations. I appreciate the timely responses and their quality of work. Ted was the original owner who handed the keys of the business to his son Josh who been running it very well. We have always had great experience working with this family. In today's day and age, it is hard to find good and reliable people but when you do, stick with them.

I can’t say enough nice things about Josh. He created and installed an electrical panel to upgrade my sisters outdated “fuses.” Very nice job , and very reasonable. Thank you , thank you. Will definitely recommend you to anyone needing electrical work.

He was fantastic. Helped me report an outage, checked in after a few hours, and came out to the house at 9 pm to try and help. Unfortunately it was an issue with the power company but he explained everything to me and was incredibly helpful. A really great guy overall and I'll definitely use him again!

I generally reference Google reviews and Burke Electric is every bit as awesome as their reviews state. Starting with the first call and consultation with Josh, and then when Kerry came to our house to meet us and work thru our issues, the whole experience was 100% all-positive. I only have good things to say - thank you very much for a job well done!

Right before this past Christmas, I contacted Burke Electric since I got a referral from a handyman in my area. Believe me, he was every bit as good as I was hoping he would be. Not only was he prompt to return my call, he came even after hours to help me with an electrical upgrade that needed done ASAP in my basement. Josh was very thorough, patient and personable not to mention his top-notch electrical work.
