Brian, the sales person, was prompt, knowledgeable, and most helpful. The gentlemen that came to install the water heater and AC unit were prompt, professional and very respectful in and of my home. They worked quietly as possible and cleaned up everything after the job. Their craftsmanship is excellent. It is such a pleasure working with O'Brien that I will recommend to family, friends and neighbors. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

Prompt, courteous, detailed service. Everyone from Joann in the office, to Brian (supervisor) and Joe (technician) - all were great. Would recommend to everyone.

Service was easy to schedule. John, my service technician, was prompt, friendly and communicative. He was very thorough in his explanations. He did all scheduled work and advised me what items I could order to optimize performance.

The O’Brien technician, Steffan, was prompt, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time reviewing the status of our AC unit and it was clear we could trust his recommendations. He also took the time to answer all my questions. Exceptional service !

Joe installed our new HVAC system this month. The work was efficiently completed and ready to use in a day and a half. Our home is now more evenly cooled. We look forward to lower propane bills with the heat pump system. Thank you for your expertise.
We've had a variety of services performed over the years. We have always had positive experiences each time we needed service or the purchase and installation of new equipment. We are long time satisfied customers.

I’ve used O’Brien for almost 15 years. Their technicians are always courteous and professional. This is the second year in a row that we’ve had Paul do our maintenance, he does a great job all around, especially explaining things in a way a lay person can understand. I highly recommend O’Brien.

They did a horrible job installing my mini split unit. They are now trying to charge me for a refrigerant refill because they failed to install the pipes correctly and it all leaked out the first time.
I’m paying for their complete service plan but I guess it doesn’t cover shoddy workmanship.

I was contacted by the company the next day and Ryan was helpful, and reassured
me that the person who was asking for payments missed that the repairs done including the refrigerant refill was covered and necessary to fix an installation flaw.

I am updating the review from 1 star to 4 stars. I am happy with the follow up call I got.

A year later, everything is working fine and I am happy with the service. 5 stars.

Did a great job with our new boiler install

I called on a Sunday afternoon, non emergency. Received a call back Monday morning 8am sharp. Technician promptly arrived less than 2 hours later that morning. Friendly, knowledgeable, good communicator. Air conditioning problem resolved - as we enter a heat wave this week.

Prompt and friendly attention was given to my air conditioning issue even though I was not an existing costumer. Service technician came out within hours and diagnosed my problem and made recommendation for the solution.

Very pleased with the service. Ryan and Joe are amazing in getting the water heater installed in a timely fashion. O'Brien is the most trustworthy go-to company for any HVAC needs!

Our AC stopped working at our house. O'Brien promptly responded, and sent a technician out the same day. The AC started working then stopped again an hour after they left. They were very responsive to my voicemail and sent another technician back the next day. They found the issue was something simple that didn't require a repair. I really appreciated their promptness, responsiveness and communication, especially when I asked for clarification about an issue with the bill. They were quick to examine the issue, admit their mistake and correct the bill. Will be calling them again for issues.

Bob was very cordial. He found that the problem right away, it was a full air filter., he told me what kind of filter to get and how to replace it. And he even changed the batteries on my thermostat. I told him nobody ever told me that I had to change it every 6 months. O'Brien said my system was guaranteed for a year and that every October I should call set up a service appointment. They never said that within 6 months you have to change the filters. So the fan was coming on and going off and constantly recycling which is hard on the fan. They also told me before he came out, that since it was under warranty there would be no charge. But then when I went to sign it looks like they charged me $99, but Bob said now that they wouldn't charge me that. So I'm trying to find out if they did or not. Anyway, Bob was great

Once again O'Brien delivered a great service. I have been a customer for at least 15 years and O'Brien has always been a reliable provider and they installed a new system for us in 2013.

Yesterday I detected a gas leak at my furnace. As it was the weekend I had to leave a message. I turned off the gas to the unit. First thing this morning O'Brien called me back to tell me to call PECO immediately and that they would come by and fix the problem in the afternoon.

The PECO technician actually found the leak I had detected and two more on a different gas line. O'Brien turned up at about 1pm and had replaced the damaged sections within about 2 hours, tidied up and made sure everything was working properly again. Throughout the experience the O'Brien technicians were professional, courteous and explained clearly what they were going to do and of course what it would cost. They did a very neat job , I could not be happier . Thanks !

The installation was a big job and the guys did an excellent work! Rick stayed late to get the job done and it’s perfect.
We are so happy of the entire process from the office staff (Dawn, Joann) , to Brian, and the installers Joe and Rick!

O’Brien HVAC was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! The receptionist returned our call promptly. The estimator was so kind and knowledgeable, without being pushy. The installation guys were respectful and easy to work with. I have no complaints, and will work with them again!
