We had several different masonry projects including re-pointing a retaining wall which was being pushed by a tree. After the tree was cut down, they removed all the old mortar and refinished the wall beautifully! So impressive! They also removed and replaced several concrete areas on our walkway which had cracked over time. They even did a great job matching the cement color and texture.
The quote was reasonable and competitive.
The workers on the job were very friendly and respectful. They cleaned up after the work was complete. They left the area cleaner than they found it.
The entire job was completed within the expected time frame.

Brendan Kneafsey and his team are highly skilled and perform top-quality work. We had the entire stone foundation of our house re-pointed, a new concrete pathway placed, and a stone garden border placed around the front garden. BJK Masonry has our highest recommendation! They were one of three contractors we interviewed and we chose Brendan (owner) based on his bid, job details, pricing and schedule. He is also just an incredibly nice guy to talk too!! When adjustments needed to be made during the job, he got it done. We had a retaining wall collapsing which would have left our barn destroyed. His guys on the job were incredibly polite and worked around our busy schedules. We will be using them on future jobs. Thanks to BJK Masonry, all our animals now have a safe and very sturdy home!

They showed up on time, were very courteous, worked hard all day, did a beautiful job on the steps and the porch foundation, had me check the work when they were finished, cleaned up any mess that was made during the work, and my wife and I were both pleased with the completed project, and would use them again if a need arises.

It's hard to like pouring big money (upwards of 14K) into (down?) your 100-year old house's stone chimney, but with the assistance of drone pictures, BJK was able to show us and explain everything that was needed for the repair and restoration of our chimney. They answered all questions we had. In addition to normal wear and tear on our 3-STORY chimney, we had a TREE growing out of one of the chimney pots - we thought it was just a big weed that could be "pulled" but we should have acted much sooner than we did (let that be a warning). Turns out it was an invasive Empress tree, which grows down as much as it grows up. And it grows fast - ours went down 6 ft or more. BJK explained, took pictures, and had to remove and replace terra cotta roof tiles to get where they needed to go (they even replaced the old water barrier under the tiles when they replaced them, I believe) an unexpected burden of time, effort and care, but they handled it all, and even stuck to their original bid, for which we are very grateful.They also put a water repellant sealant on the repaired stonework. Being able to see drone pictures of the finished job was also appreciated. Huge thanks to Juan, Brendan, Brandon, and all the guys who worked on our house. We are very grateful for their professionalism, kindness and care. One of the best companies I think we've ever worked with. Don't hesitate in hiring them.

I must say, this is probably one of if not the BEST experience I have had with a business in years. Brendan and his crew were efficient, clean, thorough and just plain old GOOD HEARTED workers. This day in age, everything is so fast paced and people and their craft forget where they come from. Not the case with this company. I will recommend them to anyone who asks. They went above and beyond the scope of their work and I am so satisfied with the outcome. Everything about them was professional and the work was of great quality.
