Recently used them for one of my customers bathroom remodels and they had nothing but great things to say about them. They were on time, bathroom did a complete 360 in cosmetics and you wouldn’t have even known they were there the way they cleaned up 💯

Nick and Corey were able to finish a punch list prior to a real estate listing which included full interior painting, electrical upgrades, and some new faucets. They were very responsive and were able to meet a tight deadline! 10/10 would recommend!

If you're looking at a small home improvement job, these are the people to call, especially if you're not sure exactly what needs to be done or how much it'll cost. I'm not sure I've ever encountered such a deeply honest handyman.
Nick came over (for free) to look over our proposed electrical job, pointed out what the priorities should be and what could reasonably wait for another day, and offered several possible courses of action. Rather than steering us toward a plan that would get him the job, when it began to look like the best plan involved doing more work than he could take on right now, he ended by recommending other contractors who could do that job instead. He's even remained in touch since then to make sure things are going smoothly forward and that we don't have any questions.
In short, next time someone asks us if we know a good electrician/plumber/handyman, this will definitely be our first recommendation.

Working with Nick and team has been fantastic! He is extremely helpful and always reliable. They have done such a great job and have been a huge help to me. Corey did great work rebuilding and replacing attic steps, rehanging two sets of sliding doors, and replacing bathroom exhaust venting. Scheduling was easy, he confirmed the appointment several times and arrived exactly as promised. I look forward to working with Acker Romano again.

As a single female home owner I have finally come across a honest and caring handyman duo ever , they are Acker-Romano Home Improvement LLC. Nicholas and his brother n law Corey came in and made me feel comfortable with the work they did for me , even offered to start another project for me the same day , I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has like me been taken advantage of by different contractors, handymen, and so called professionals, thanks so much for being honest, straightforward, caring, and most of all reasonably priced ! Honestly, I almost hope that others don’t find out about them, because I selfishly wish they could work only for me. From mounting TVs and rewiring outlets to plumbing and custom carpentry, Nick is consistently reliable for expert guidance and high-quality work with honest and transparent pricing. But Nick is more than a great handyman, he is a home genius whose encyclopedia-level of knowledge for home repairs is matched only by his off-the-charts passion for his work. If you could study Home Improvement in college, Nick would be an Ivy League professor. But that doesn’t stop him from taking time to explain his projects in a way that novices can understand. Even better, instead of biting off more than he can chew, he has the integrity and wherewithal to tell you when he doesn’t feel comfortable taking a job. I trust Nick with all of my home projects, and if he can’t do it, he’ll happily refer me to someone who can. As someone with a 100 year-old home, I find it comforting to know that I can rely on a handyman who understands and appreciates the challenges associated with working in older homes. I highly recommend Acker Romano to anyone who is lucky enough to live in their service area!
