While putting away some tools in the basement before the first showing for the sale of our house, the central A/C fan sounded a little off. Within 2 minutes it clanged to a stop and I couldn't get it restarted. I called Bachman and they had someone over within 2.5 hours on a very hot and humid Monday. They had the fan fixed by 1pm, well before prospective buyers were to arrive. The folks at Bachman understand that at sometimes a customer just needs that little extra and they deliver it. Everyone I spoke with was understanding and very courteous. They will be our HVAC company for the foreseeable future.

Our house smelled like gas the day before Thanksgiving. Bachman and Son was the only company that called us back and came out right away to survey the situation. Instead of telling us there was nothing we could do with the 25+ boiler, they offered a couple of solutions and came back on Monday to fix it. They were on time, polite, patient and very knowledgeable. We give them 10 stars. He is even coming back tomorrow just to make sure it is working properly. Highly recommend.

I have only owned my house for 6 months at the time of writing this review and had to call Bachman three times for different repairs and every time I have been overly impressed. They come when they say they will, and even showed up early two of the times. The first time our heater went out 2 days before Thanksgiving...I called them that night, the next morn (Thanksgiving Eve) they called and said they would be over in an hour. They showed up in 30 mins. They needed a part that was up in Norristown (40 minutes away)...instead of saying we would have to wait for the part to be delivered or that they'd come back after Thanksgiving, the repairman drove to Norristown and back (with chance of snow in forecast mind you) and finished the repair that day so we could have heat. That certainly left an impression of guys that will not only fix it, but go the extra mile if needed in a tight situation regardless of a holiday or pending snow. I'm definitely a customer for life!

And his family are great. A/C went out. He came right over and gave us our options. They put in a new system and saved us 1000's by letting us pick the system we wanted and could afford. They have also come out to do repairs to our old system, always came on short notice, they are always here to help and I highly recommend this family owned business!!

So,Tuesday July 16th,walk out my back door,I hear a louder than usual noise,going on.I figure someones working on something a few houses up.Then walk back toward house,realize its coming from my AC condenser unit.Turn the air off,take the top off the unit,and spin the fan,it spins normal and no noise.Noise sounded like something hitting fan blade but was not.Wait a little while put air back on, same noise.I know enough,that that was not a good sound.(this was July 16th,the start of the hottest couple of days since 2012.Long story short everyone is busy cannot get anyone here.Its nowThur.afternoon,late in the day,already spent two nights sleeping on couch,with a window unit.The wife and I spot the name Albert Bachman and Sons,HVAC Repair.Lets give these guys a call,and they are local.I was just happy when they just answered the Phone,Guys says let me call u right back,i say Cool.So he says i'll be over within the hour.He also tells me up front the cost of a service visit,which was cool also,I say no,Problem.He shows up,very Personable,and Knowledgeable.Got right to the unit,i turn the air on,he hears the noise,i shut off power.Trouble shoots and tells me its a contact,on the control panel,on the condenser unit.Now this is an old unit,He then says I have the part on my Truck.He cannot see this but my Wife, and I are in the Kitchen doing the happy Dance.After three days of misery,Within an hour I think his name was Jim,He had us back on line.And he was explaining to me how this contact works with the house Electricity.Sorry this is so long.Moral of the Story.We took a chance on local Talent,And Family owned.And it Worked.Now have a local Contractor,We can Trust!!! My mother had contractors inadvertently break her oil heater during a cold stretch. The heater was an older model that no longer had parts available to repair it. Bachman did a great job on the repair. He made 3 trips in the same day and had a part milled to fit the heater. He stayed late, went above and beyond what was required of him, and got the difficult job done and done right. You don't see service like this much anymore. Great Job!!!

Bachman is top notch. They installed a mini-split system in our upstairs. They were recommended by a friend who has been using them for decades in Wyncote. These are the best of the best.

Bachman & Son is just what you would hope from a family business -- responsive, honest, and fair pricing. They have successfully handled both heating and cooling challenges in my old house. Gary returns calls quickly and Joe's technical expertise solves problems with new and old systems. They are my first call for HVAC issues.

I lost heat in the addition in my home last night. I had an idea of the issue, but with recent shoulder surgery, I wasn’t feeling up for the challenge. I called Bachman, spoke with the office, and they told me someone would be coming out later in the day. I received a phone call from the tech Joe, who gave me a 30 min show up call. Joe came in, accessed the situation, and made the necessary repairs. I would highly recommend them.

So happy with their service! They come within a day of my emergency calls. I needed whole new HVAC system. Their prices were excellent and they were able to start a day early on the job. So thankful I found them, Highly recommend.

Very responsive. They came when they promised, they diagnosed and repaired my central air on time and at the price quoted. My tech was polite and thorough. Well equipped trucks and professional from start to finish. I would recommend them highly. It’s comforting to know they are there when I need them.

Lost heat in my oil furnace on Monday night (after 7 when I noticed). Called and Mr Bachman called me right back. Sent a tech first thing. A good cleaning and back in business! Highly recommend. They always go above and beyond!

I have used Bachman & Sons for over 12 years. Mr Bachman is always helpful and very nice. The quality of work is always outstanding. In the few emergencies I've had over the years they have always responded very quickly. Never any high pressure sales like the big Company's. Just a great family owned business.

Our air conditioning unit suddenly stopped working last week. We were told by several contractors that we needed to replace it costing us $7000-$12000. Albert Bachman was the only honest one. Turns out all we needed was a $150 part. We’ll be life long customers.

We were referred by our landlord who has used Bachman for decades. We couldn't be more happy with their service. Incredibly prompt, and in a year of multitudinous delays, they were able to install a new Mini-split system almost immediately after we called. Professional people, great service, and incredibly timely. A great find if you need an HVAC person.

We recently had our entire HVAC system replaced. This company was referred by a friend of ours and lived up to their assessment and previous experiences with the company. Solid, honest advice without any of the usural upselling. Joe and his team performed all the work with precision and were very tidy in the clean up which we did not expect. They also responded well to our concerns and last minute changes that we requested in the install. It was a pleasure having them in our home.

On Tuesday night, we noticed our central air wasn't working. By Thursday afternoon, Joe and his crew had completely replaced our broken unit with a new one and our AC was back to normal. We were completely blown away by their speed, responsiveness, value and quality of service. We will definitely call on them again the next time something comes up!
