My roofing guy recommended Chismar for our chimney which needed repair. He came highly recommended and I know why. Mike promptly responded, inspected, explained the repair and cost. The service was outstanding and the cost reasonable for the quality of work. He recently came to fix a chimney topper and the service was exceptional and very fast. I have some pointing for him and I trust his work and communication. Finding someone with this talent and who communicates and returns his calls and shows up in a timely manner with a reasonable bill is RARE!!!!! I highly recommend him.

Mike was the most reasonably priced and most reliable in my search for repointing most of the lintels and step cracking that was destroying my house. Job complete in less than a week. Four months later everything is just as solid.

We live in a 1920s era craftsman style brick house. The mortar joints were badly deteriorating, so Chismar Brick fully repointed the front and back of the house and the chimney and spot pointed the sides. Mike Chismar was very responsive by phone, came out quickly to give us an estimate and offered a very competitive price. He and his team were considerate of the dust and noise created by grinding out the old mortar, even covering our neighbor's porch with plastic to minimize dust. The end product looks fantastic. They were able to perfectly match the mortar color on a section that had been recently rebuilt, so it all looks consistent. Mike is easy to communicate with, was happy to take suggestions and feedback, and was very responsive. Our experience was universally positive - extremely highly recommended.

Mike is very professional, honest, knowledgeable and experienced. He is also organized and completes the work as planned. He re-pointed brick in several places on my home including the chimney and did a great job. I am being completely honest when I say that I cannot differentiate the re-pointed areas from the rest of the house. I definitely recommend and will refer friends to this business.

Mike and his crew did a great job on my father's chimney. They worked quickly and cleaned up well when the job was done. The estimate was reasonable and I was impressed with the quality of work. Waiting on another quote to have some more brick work done on a wall project.

Mike is very responsive with his phone calls and emails. He called me back the same day, gave me an estimate the following day (loved that he used a drone!), and emailed me the estimate right after that. He came with his crew on-time, finished the job in one day and did a great job. Very pleased from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

Did a great job repointing one of our chimneys and rebuilding the other one! Roofers who came in a week later actually commented on how well done the masonry work was. Super flexible and worked with us every step of the way.

Mike and his team were excellent. From the time I called for an estimate until the job was finished, Mike was a pleasure. Very knowledgeable. He explained what was wrong with my chimneys, explained how he was going to fix rhem and told me up front the costs. Him and his guys worked very hard to get my 2 chimneys repaired at the same time. The cleaned up was great. It was cleaner when they left than it was before. They definitely went above and beyond. Highly recommended!!!

They were able to start the work on my house quickly and finished ahead of the proposed schedule, which was appreciated. The team ran a very clean job site and minimized any intrusion on the living space. The work was a huge improvement from the deteriorating brickwork and chimney that was leading to a leak. The best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Chisholm came in, used a drone to survey our chimney and higher level brick siding for our estimate. The pictures were emailed to us for our records and the post-work drone pictures were shared so we could clearly see all the amazing work at higher elevations.
They completely repaired our chimney and replaced the cap! They fixed stair cracks and other brick joint issues around the whole house. Total pro job and total mortar match. They have been done 2 days and you cannot find one place they worked - the house just looks to be in top shape! No way to see what joints they fixed or that any major chimney repair was done!
Quote was extremely reasonable, contract was clear and concise, work Team was awesome and just rolled! Was a very dirty job but all was spick and span clean when they left, a day earlier than forecast too!
I got 3-4 estimates and am so pleased we used Chisholm! Not the least expensive nor the most expensive!

Very satisfied with our experience with this company. Once we contacted them, they were prompt to schedule a time to come
over and look at the issue. Within the next few days, we received a reasonable estimate which we approved. Mike and his team were able to intervene a few weeks later. They have done a nice job and kept the dust to minimal.

Still waiting for a phone call hoping they're busy and not just like most of these companies not actually providing good service
