We have worked with Steve and his crew a few times now, and each time has been an excellent experience. They have completed leaf removal, bed edging, and mulching for us, and every service was completed with the upmost attention to detail and professionalism. They work quickly and efficiently, and the finished work always exceeds our expectations. Steve is an absolute pleasure to work with. He is dependable, courteous, always keeps in touch with updates, is transparent about costs, and does his very best to save the customer money and offer the fairest prices for his services. It is very apparent that he truly cares about his customers, and that building long-term working relationships is a priority to him. We highly recommend working with Steve and his crew!

Jay was very professional and responded super quick to help me removing a tree. His price was reasonable and his quality of work was great. His crew was in and out and cleaned up great after they were done. He went over and above to work with my schedule and doing the job in a timely manner. I highly recommend him if you need anything done around the house.

I called Steve at J&S to have two decorative trees removed. They had been planted too close to the house and had grown too big. Steve was very attentive and came quickly for a free estimate. I had called two other services but they could not come for weeks. John and his team did the job quickly, safely and cleaned up the yard. I highly recommend Steve and JS for any yard service.

Excellent work. Climber did everything we asked and did it well. The crew was friendly and performed as a great team. Cleaned everything up after completing the tree limb removal. Steve was also great to work with. Very accommodating and went out of his way to be sure we were satisfied. Very reasonable cost as well. Definitely would recommend them to everyone needing tree service.

LOTS of 5-star reviews, and now I know why. These guys hustle to get the job done right, but don’t rush the job, either.
I had an overgrown front yard in desperate need of a clearing. Big trees, small tress, shrubs, barbs, hedges, weeds, everything. That part of the yard was horribly neglected and well beyond its former glory days. It just needed a “crew cut” down to nothing so I could evaluate what to do from a “clean slate”. The J&S folks did that. They actually had an opening and were able to get my job started (and finished) a couple weeks earlier than I anticipated. In one day. Professional work AND professional cleanup! They took care of it all – from annoying weeds and brush, to small evergreen bushes, to gnarly-rooted ornamentals, to thick vines, to a 12” diameter (maybe bigger) oak. A mix of everything most landscapers and tree service companies hate. But the J&S team embraced it and took it all down to the ground and cleaned and chipped the whole mess so it looks like it was never there. I’m so glad I left this to the pros. No more headaches. It’s done. Done right. And their price was amazing. Extremely easy to deal with and very accommodating. These are local folks who’ve been in the business for decades. Highly recommended company and team.

We had a large pine in a difficult spot behind the house. We spoke to Steve, who was very kind and accommodating. He definitely goes out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. The crew was very courteous and did an excellent job taking the tree down and cleaned up after the job was done. The price was very reasonable for the difficulty of the job. We would definitely recommend them to others.

The owner Steve is very professional. He followed all steps and kept me posted about what would happen next. Due to the weather, he had to reschedule the service and he prepared for the possible rescheduling from the beginning. On the day of the service, he called me early in the morning to ensure everything was arranged properly. The team leader Jon and his crews were all professional. They worked diligently and barely had a break. They cleaned up working site very well and stacked logs neatly. Their price was reasonable and quality of service was beyond my expectation. Had a tree come down during recent storms in the Harrison City area. I worked with them to schedule a cleanup date and we were able to get it completed before the target date. Steve was very friendly and more than happy to work with my blind mothers budget. Excellent service and couldn't be happier.

My family has worked with J & S for over 20 years. Steve and Jon are an excellent team. Jon continues Jay's legacy and they clear and remove trees while taking the time to educate the customer. They are a family. Steve continued to follow-up throughout the project so that we remained satisfied and Jon and Crew were performing as previously scoped out. J&S took care of three trees for us. Two were dead and one needed to be removed for installation of solar panels. The last was a kind of sprawling birch that was complicated by other trees, a shed and the house. J&S took them down cleanly and did a very good job of cleaning up when they were finished. My wife was very impressed with the politeness of the crew and their thoroughness and care.

This is my second time working with Steve and his wonderful crew. Both times were easy from start to finish. Steve is great about keeping you informed about the upcoming project and even calls the morning of project day. The crew has a talent that speaks for itself. They did an impressive job removing six very large trees between the combined jobs. They worked at an incredible speed and did a great job with cleanup. Very happy to have found this local business. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

J & S is run by the nicest gentleman. He was able to come out and work with me to develop a plan on what needed to be done to trim 2 large maple trees back from my house. Before scheduling he made sure the work was exactly what I wanted. His employees are fast. They got the job done, made sure I was pleased, and cleaned up before I would have been able to even start a saw. These guys are efficient professionals. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I could not be happier! The crew was punctual and very polite. We had a three-story tree that they took care of for us. You can’t even tell a tree existed in that spot. They were so professional and cleaned up everything beautifully!

We hired J & S Enterprises to clear numerous small trees and brush from the hillside behind our home. I could not be more pleased with every aspect of the job they did. From the initial meeting with Steve to the workday experience with Jonathan and the crew, everything was done with the utmost professionalism and care for my property. Steve called me several times prior to the job day to ensure everything was on schedule. Everyone I met was very courteous, and the price for the work was very fair. I called and spoke with the owner Steve. He is the nicest person, you could imagine. The price was very reasonable and we set up a schedule. He reached out to us several times before he came up to confirm date. He and the crew came out the scheduled date and did an amazing job. There was a massive tree right next to our shed we wanted removed and several trees we wanted trimmed. The crew was really nice and approachable. When they left, you couldn't tell that we had any trucks or work done in our backyard except the feeling that our yard looked much bigger for some reason. I can't say enough good things about Steve and his crew. I highly recommend. In fact, we are planning on using him again in the near future for more trees we decided to remove/prune.

We had a good experience with J&S. Steve is extremely friendly and is considerate of his customers. He made sure to share frequent updates with us regarding scheduling the work (had some delays due to uncooperative weather and the bucket truck needing work done). The team that did the job (big trim on a very big old oak) was very nice to work with. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job on the tree! I have used J&S for the third time now and am still blown away with the quality service they provide. They removed 4 large yew bushes, trimmed back my remaining bushes, and cleaned the beds and all trimmings after. John and the team are very polite and professional and left my yard cleaner than it was when they came. Steve handles the scheduling and estimates and is always kind and keeps in touch with you until the job is done. We had to reschedule due to weather, but did not have any trouble making it work for everyone's schedules. I will continue using J&S in the future.

We used J & S to remove an old pine tree in our front yard. Everything was very professional. Steve was very efficient in calls, and the guys all worked together as a team very well. I hired J&S to do dead tree removal and tree trimming on my property. The owner, Steve, was excellent about communication during the estimation process and then leading up to and during the job. Pricing was very reasonable. The crew was very conscientious and hardworking and did a great job. I'm hiring them again to do some more work for me in the fall.

Update: I had J&S back to do some pretty substantial additional pruning and removal of several small to medium-sized trees and shrubs. They did a great job on this work too. I very much appreciated the level of communication from not only Steve but all the crew. You can tell they take pride in their work and want to make sure the customer is satisfied. I would definitely continue to hire them.
