I hired Black Bird Electric to review outlets and fuse box. The electrician found out immediately that the wiring was incorrect and will be fixed. I wish I had called them sooner than other companies that did sloppy work.

Babybird completed a full rewire of our home, switching from aluminum to all new copper. It was a difficult and invasive job, but I was extremely impressed at both the quality of the work and the respect with which they treated our home. Rick walked us through exactly what his crew would do, and was happy to work with us if we expressed any discomfort or needed to make changes. We were living in the home at the time, so they took extra care to keep the place as clean as possible and make sure that we were comfortable. I've already called them back to install some new kitchen can lights, and would certainly use them in the future.

We hired Baby Bird to run some new cable and electrical outlets on our second floor and addition. It's an old house, but Baby Bird quickly found the most efficient and attractive way to get the job done. Baby Bird also completely overhauled the lighting, outlets and conduit in our utility room. They were clean and exacting. The staff are always friendly, on time, and willing to give you an honest opinion about the best way (not just the cheapest way) to do something.

We used Baby Bird Electric to do all of the electrical work associated with installing a new swimming pool. This included trenching wire, installing a circuit panel, wiring a pump and heater, and wiring switches for pool lighting and for an automatic cover.

We could not be more pleased with their work. Each member of the team, including the office personnel, are professional, friendly, responsive, and prompt. The crew was on time and was where they said they were going to be. The office staff responded to inquiries quickly and accurately.

The work itself was impeccable. All of the wiring is clean and professional, and tied up nicely. The guys stopped their work and answered as many questions as I had. They worked in the heat and the rain just to get the job done when they said it would be done.

They also went the extra mile at every opportunity. For instance, they made special trips to the house to be there when the building inspector was there, just to facilitate the inspection and to be there if the inspector had any questions. They always were in communication with us, as well, including checking in at the end of the day to make sure the work was done to our (and their own) satisfaction.

We intend to hire Baby Bird for some interior electrical work later this year, that is how much we were satisfied with their services.

I would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone looking for electrical work. In this day and age, it is hard to find a company that calls back, shows up when they say they will, stays in communication, and provides exceptional work. Baby Bird does all of that and more. Call them. You won't be disappointed.

What a great company! Got an appointment the day I called and two electricians, Rick & Travis showed up on time and with smiles on their faces. They found and fixed my issue within minutes and then asked if they could do anything else for me since I basically paid for an hour with the service call. They then hung two outdoor light fixtures that my husband hadn't gotten around to! Unheard of! So happy I found an honest and reliable contractor!

I’ve used Baby Bird Electric for several projects in commercial and residential properties including my own home and they will continue to be my go-to electricians. Stephanie is very responsive and great to work with. Rick and his team are very knowledgeable and get the job done no matter how small or big the project is. It’s such a relief to find a reliable company like Baby Bird.

We had a fire and didn't have a choice of the electrician used for that. We wanted to upgrade a panel, Babybird answered me same day and was able to come out the next day for an estimate. Rick explained everything. Very happily they were able to come out within days for the job. I ran into an issue the next day and called Babybird, again they responded within 20 minutes and had someone out within 2 hours. The issue was NOT on them, they found an issue from previous elctrician. Rick and DJ were so nice, they explained everything multiple times. I finally feel confident in our electric service, and I will definitely recommend them and call them for my electric needs in the future. Very very pleased with professionalism and quality of work.

Rick was able to identify the key areas to repair and everything was explained thoroughly and expectations clearly set prior to starting work. I had a great experience with Baby Bird electric last fall. We have a small, older house that has had small renovations over the decades. We wanted to replace some old light fixtures with new ones that would add to the efficiency and comfort of our home.

Rick, the electrician, had an immediate appreciation for our house and made preserving its old-fashioned workmanship a top priority. He made specific recommendations on what we should do to add fixtures while preserving things like our plaster ceiling and woodwork.

I was so grateful for Rick’s advice, positive attitude and hard work, as well as the excellent communication from Steph at their office. I’ll definitely turn to Baby Bird electric next time I need this kind of help!

This is not the first time I have used Baby Bird and I will be calling them again when we move to our new house in a few weeks! When the inspection report came back for our current house indicating that we needed to have an outlet fixed, I didn’t even need to think about which electrician I would call. They came out the next day and fixed the issue immediately. And while I was talking about moving out I mentioned that we needed to get our sump pump fixed. Rick didn’t miss a beat offering to take a look at it for us. I had no idea that the problem was as simple as it just needing to be plugged in. Baby bird saved us so much time and money because now we don’t need to hire a plumber. Baby Bird is the most honest and reliable company I have ever worked with and I look forward to using them again for our new house. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

BabyBird was the only one of nearly 5 electricians I called that actually gave me a call back! I spoke with Steph about installing a new 220v outlet and the possibility of needing an entirely new panel. When Rick, the electrician, arrived to the condo, my tenant was very impressed with how kind and thorough he was. I am so impressed with their follow-up and follow-through, all while being so nice and customer-focused. I am VERY impressed and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the Pittsburgh area.

Baby Bird Electric did a lot of electrical work at our office. Rick and his team were extremely responsive and helpful throught the process. Stephanie at the main office always picks up the phone and gets us scheduled right away. We were very happy with the job they did. They will be my first call with any electrical installations or repairs going forward. I highly recommend this company.

I received pricing from multiple contractors to upgrade my electrical panel. All were competitive but I chose baby bird on cost and because they included their certificate of insurance with their bid. Very friendly and easy to work with. They were concise on what they were going to do and I never got the impression that there were hidden costs anywhere. (that i got the impression from other contractors).

They showed up as expected and were thoughtful and entertaining, Paul was a really great and knowledgeable electrician. They cleaned up after themselves and I couldn’t be happier with their work. When I have additional needs for an electrician there is no doubt I will return to baby bird!

Had a new outlet added and a light fixture replaced with a ceiling fan. They were easy to contact and was able to get service date fairly quickly. All communication was done via text. The crew that came to do the install was on time and very polite and professional. They did excellent work exactly as requested. Would use again and recommend to anyone.

Rick and David have been out here multiple times to do various things including complicated things that took the three of us working together for a while such as an electric window opener. They are always very professional and do an excellent job. I will definitely call them back if I need any more electrical work done.

A great experience from my initial communication to the completed project. The team was upfront in their plans, did a wonderful job, and left all of the spaces in our house clean. We plan on having them back for more projects!

Stephanie set the appointment with a window between 8/9a..Eric and Alex showed up at 8:00 and professionally introduced themselves...we briefly spoke about the scope of work scheduled (hanging outdoor lighting on house) and they were on their way to getting it done. Finished ON TIME and also did some consulting on other jobs I would like to have done in the future. They exceeded my expectations of professionalism, quality of work and budget. I WILL have them come back to do the additional work I need done around my home.
