THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!! Ilya is an absolute genius! Also, I’m grateful for his kindness and honesty. My oil burner wasn’t working, no heat, for eleven days. At first, those eleven days, I used a different company. That tech kept blaming filters and the fuel. Insanity repeated with no success. My friend recommended “Core Comfort” and thank god for it. Ilya came out and tested all the equipment and discovered my fuel pump was from 1996 and faulty, my Ignitor was very “weak” and shared a video comparing the “old” vs “new” ignitor. Very cool! He knew of my emergency and scheduled his busy day to accommodate me. Alerting me to the approaching cold front on the way. He saved the lives of my wife and I who were barely keeping “low 50’s” in parts of the home. Plus our pets. I am FOREVER GRATEFUL and will ONLY be using “Core Comfort” as long as I live. I am sharing their name to everyone I know. Extreme cold is dangerous to lives, pets, and pipes. I fear what would’ve happened without changing to “Core Comfort”. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

It’s such a relief to finally have a reliable HVAC resource in this area. Ilya is fantastic—he genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and more. He’s a natural teacher, and it’s refreshing to ask questions and receive well-thought-out, concise answers from someone who is clearly an expert - without feeling like you’re being upsold.

We initially called him for an oil boiler service after moving into an older farmhouse. During his first visit, he noticed a leaking water line that had been bothering us. He said, “I could fix that if you wanted,” and ended up doing the job with copper piping—for less than a third of what another plumber had quoted us, who planned to use PEX instead.

We recently had him back to address an issue with our baseboard heating system and domestic hot water. Within minutes, he identified the problem (a design flaw from the builders who updated the house in 2019) and proposed a practical solution.

Ilya consistently goes above and beyond during every visit. He even suggests things you can do yourself to save money, like insulating lines or sealing a drafty door near the hot water loop. Professionals like Ilya are truly hard to find.

I’m excited to see Core Comfort continue to grow with Ilya at the helm, and I highly recommend anyone in need of HVAC or plumbing help—or just a smart guy to consult—to give him a call and schedule a service.

Heat went out late on a Saturday night in 30 degree weather , called Ilya first thing Sunday morning and he came right over ! Would highly recommend to anyone. Fantastic work at a fair and reasonable price. He will talk you through and explain what is going on with your system.

Ilya came out today to check out my AC that wasn’t working . He analyzed it, cleaned it checked everything out. He was honest with a decent price. The man knows what he’s doing. I will always call him in the future!

Illya came out for consultation for a new boiler and asked a lot of questions, and the right questions, for what we wanted for our new system. He gave us a very reasonable price not only for a new boiler, but for a new chimney liner as well. Illya and his crew were not only on time, they showed up early and stayed later than expected to get the job done. The work on the boiler was not only meticulous but the cleanup was as well. As you can see, we certainly recommend Core Comfort for any of your HVAC needs!

I had a other HVAC company doing the repair work on our system for years costing us plenty. After calling Ilya, the problem was fixed for good in one visit!! He also fixed my pool heater. Great work fair prices and available when needed. What more could anyone want?!!!

Excellent service! Ilya responded to my request within the hour. He was able to come and assess my air-conditioning unit within 24 hours and honestly told me that I did not need an entire new system only the condenser motor which was quickly and efficiently replaced within 24 additional hours. He is highly recommended.
