Owner John Gorman provides highly professional service and communicates well with customers. Whether it be tree removal or pruning, all work is done, according to national standards and his crew cleans up the area well. He has done significant tree work (80 ft Oaks) for us and our neighbor - highly recommend.

These guys are awesome. Watching John skillfully climb a tree and dismantle limbs is incredibly satisfying. He wields a Stihl expertly, raining branches down which are then dispatched by the Silver Leaf team. It was truly a joy to watch them work and the price was great, too.

Silver Leaf Forestry has been my go-to for tree work since John started it years ago. I can always count on him to know what has to be done and for him and his team to do the work impeccably. Not only do they take down trees with great care, they leave the areas on which they’ve worked immaculate. Recently and in response to my concern that tree branches had begun to overhang my roof, John squeezed me into his work calendar and took down the culprits-- several saplings. Because he so attuned to plant life, he also removed a dead mountain laurel (unnoticed by me) and pruned the branches of some trees. Remarkable too are Silver Leaf’s reasonable fees.

They did a great job! Just had them take down some trees in my front yard along with trimming a few trees in the back. The work was done quickly and professionally. The cleaned the yard, street and driveway. I would definitely recommend them.

John and his crew did absolutely incredible work on our property. We have a very tough layout with some weird ravines behind our house and they handled it impeccably. They worked over two days methodically clearing all the trees I was quoted for and more. Thanks to the size of the equipment they had, they were able to work around our septic tank in a way that other larger companies in the area weren’t able to. John climbed many of the trees and felled them himself when the bucket wasn’t able to be utilized. They were professional, efficient and I know I’ll be calling on their expertise again. Not to mention their quote came in well below all of the other companies I got quotes from. I’ve already recommended them to others who need tree work done.

Very rude and unprofessional.
To be more clear I approached asking what you were doing trimming my trees. You were instantly rude and condescending to me - you had not informed me (the tree owner) or the home owner you were doing the work for that you would be cutting limbs from my trees. I simply asked what you were doing and in a rude and disrespectful way you started telling me about the law. You are clearing missing the point we live in a neighborhood where we are kind to one another and we communicate. A simple knock on my door or a text from the homeowner would have been the right thing to do. I literally would have said oh good thank you for doing that and I would have paid for it. When you weren’t listening is when I used one bad word. So I am sticking by review. Be kind and approachable. It is not always about the law sometimes it’s simply about being neighborly.
