Steve and his team were very professional when removing a tree that was dangerous at Calvary Baptist. Work was done as quoted and done well.

Steve was quick to respond and quick to schedule and complete the job of trimming and pruning out three, tall Crape Myrtles. Niwaki Tree Services did a great job and cleaned everything up. I would highly recommend them.

We were in a tough spot when one of our tall pine trees died. It was in-between mine and my neighbors fence and was close to power lines. We had received a few estimates that were extremely high! Close to 10,000! Niwaki saved the day! Giving us a reasonable estimate along with Steve being very knowledgeable about what do to and how important it was to him to remove the tree ASAP made this expericence stress free. If it were possible I would give this company a 10 star as so deserving. They removed two large tree limbs off our roof with unbelievable timing and a beautiful clean up. They were professional and timely. Excellent service. I highly recommend this arborist company. Above excellent.

Steve and his crew were fantastic! We had a tree that needed to come down because of storm damage and he was honest with the work they were going to do and reasonable priced. They showed up as expected and cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend this company to anyone needing tree service.

The Niwaki team is great! They have trimmed two 50+ ft trees for me and have cleaned up another massive oak that had fallen. They are great with communication and have not tried to add any kind of extra fees on the backside. I had him check out a tree that was leaning and he was right about everything!

Niwaki did a fantastic job removing an extremely large oak tree next to our house that was heavily damaged by a storm. They came out the same day we called and immediately started working.

This is the second time Steve and his crew came out to trim my 3 palm trees. They're so tall I can't reach them. Steve's team came out and in no time pruned to perfection my palm trees. The trees look fantastic and taller than ever. The guys were professional, polite, efficient, and they even took all the debris with them. I couldn't be more pleased. I selected to go with Niwaki Tree and Shrub Care out of Rock Hill. I was pleased with their services & highly recommend them. I quoted this job through 5 companies. While they were not the lowest bidder, I felt comfortable with their number and safe with their professionalism.
Steve and his crew come out and take down a large ( 30" round) oak that was tucked in tight by my deck and overhung my house. They were very professional and fair. Did exactly what was in the scope with a couple of small extras since they were on site. All was handled with care and precision. They used mats where needed and cleaned up everything. Finding a good tree professional is critical when you live on a "Wooded Lot" with tall, aging trees.
I very well think I've found mine. I'll be calling them back for future maintenance projects for sure.

It appears that either Steve is a petulant man-child or this Aloma Tally that handles emails for him doesn't care to even try to be professional. Niwaki doesn't want any of your business if they can't have it all. Very unprofessional and rude.

I have a tree that's dead and I had two companies come to see if it could be saved. Conpany 1 said that they didn't offer treatment services, but offered me a quote to cut it down and grind the stump.

I called Niwaki for a second opinion and they confirmed that the tree could not be saved, but also another two other trees needed attention as well as an infestation in our bushes. They offered a quote and, after reviewing both, I chose the other company for the removal because their cost was half of Niwaki's, and they could come out next day whereas Niwaki said two to four weeks.

I let Niwaki know that I chose to go with another company for the removal, but I would still like them to treat the other tree and bushes, and I'd like to contract with them to do ongoing tree care.

The response I got, in all caps, stated:
"STEVE SAID NO HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN DOING THAT SO HAVE THE OTHER TREE COMPANY
TAKE CARE OF TREATING THE TREE AND SHRUBS."

That's a direct copy/paste.

When I asked for a call for clarification that they don't want any of my ongoing business because they couldn't get the removal, I received an emailed response that simply stated:

"YES"

... also a direct quote. I should note that none of the email communications prior were this short or in all caps.

I'm glad I'm not doing business with this company now, if that's the type of treatment and communication I could expect from them. Think twice before using this company.

Tree removal was good. Stump grinding was worst I have ever had done. Left ruts in yard, tore up shrubbery and did not even smooth where stumps were ground. Did not use equipment matched to the job.
