I never give reviews... but there are exceptions to every rule. Thankfully, I found Steve’s Comfort Systems online. Steve Bell stepped up and got my hydronic heating system working well and properly balanced after a Yankton heating contractor failed and then wouldn’t even return my calls. After a short conversation on the phone, Steve diagnosed the system problems, he refused to drive out to Springfield, said it would be too costly. Then he talked me through the process and he save me a bundle of money. When a guy can do that over the phone you know he is an expert in his field. You just don’t get that kind of support these days. Thank you very much, Steve.

I am writing this to recommend Steve to anyone who wants an honest professional who knows his job and will not only solve the problem, but also educates the customer so that they can take care of it themselves! We had a problem with our water heater and he gave us the opportunity to try fix it ourselves by instructing us on the phone and even sent us instructions on how to do it before he came. They inform you upfront about the cost and help you to try fix/solve the problem before you ask them to take a look at the problem. In my experience, this is an unusual aspect for a business and I appreciate the way they conduct their business. Overall very professional, friendly and did a clean job!

Yesterday after a long weekend with a plugged sewer main, I called the numbers of seven local plumbing companies. Of the seven, only two had an answering service (Steve's and another) and I left messages at the other five. Steve's was the only one of the seven who actually returned my call the same day. In my impatience, I decided to rent a drain snake and try it myself. Just as I was getting started, Steve returned my call and I explained that I was going DIY. Rather than the typical "OK good luck" he gave me a good fifteen minutes of advice that proved to be indispensable in solving my issue. Disaster averted, problem solved. Steve is a real class act and a credit to his profession and his will be our go-to company for our plumbing and HVAC needs in the future.

Steve is awesome! He popped by, figured out our plumbing issue really quickly, and did a great job getting us up and running. I appreciated how he was able to explain what was going on, and steps we could take to prevent the issue from recurring. 10/10!
