Working with J C Curtis has been a rewarding experience from their professionalism, to the ability to keep cool during the imperfect moments of the construction industry.

Extremely competent in project management, efficiency in coordination and completion of multiple projects. Support staff goes above and beyond in dealings with subcontractors.

I have been working with JC Curtis the past few months and have had a very good experience. Jill Abens has been easy to work with and I have had no issues. Emails are answered promptly and phone calls are returned.

I'm a sheetrock subcontractor out of Louisiana and worked on a Love's Truck Stop project. I've read some of the negative reviews posted and will have to disagree, with some of the post written. Being a subcontractor as, well, I did found, that there are few challenges in the paperwork. However, Jill A. assistant acct. manager was more then willing to assist in the process. Jill A. went above and beyond to ensure that everything was is place and that we recieved our invoice paid in a timely manner. Great follow up and did exactly what she said she would. To all my Subs, if you educate and make sure you know, what will be asked of you. Before and after the project, you shouldn't have any problems. One other thing, shout out to Rodney forman on the job very patient and just a great guy to work with.
Thanks,
Paul S.

It has been a pleasure working will JC Curtis Construction. They do have some tricky paperwork, but Jill Abens has helped me every step of the way. She offers to check over everything before I submit the final copies and always gets back to me quickly when I have any questions or concerns. She seems to genuinely care about the people she is working with and tries very hard to make the process as smooth as possible. This is our second time working with them and we hope to continue to do future projects with them.

We just completed a Love's project as an Electrical Contractor and it has been a great experience. This was the first Project with the company and yes the Pay Application process was a bit confusing. However, Jill who is the office manager was remarkable with assistance me. She was always available to assist with whatever questions I had. We were paid per the terms of the contract as. I look forward to working with this company on future projects and would highly recommend the company to others.

this company sucks from a subcontractors point of view. they dont pay on time and we had to contact the owner of the building to get paid. we finished the project before receiving one penny.

I can’t speak to the quality of their construction. However, I can speak to the quality of the individual(s) they employ - one in particular. JC Curtis is currently remodeling a building on the same street as my work. My work is a retail location in a highly trafficked area with street parking only. JC Curtis, for the past two months, has taken over half of the street parking for their employees. I understand the necessity of reaching tools and other important items. However, after being observed firsthand and via camera footage only 1 of the spots being taken is actually needed. The other spots, which directly block multiple small businesses - including their direct business front, are just there so the employees don’t have to walk so far. 🙄
The company has repeatedly, and without warning, closed both the street and sidewalk, left said sidewalk filled with trash, and as of today a site supervisor made a comment about our business and customers not being as important as his deadline. When asked if the week before Christmas it was possible to only use the one needed spot (4 days of work would be affected for them but could be paramount for a small business) the supervisor responded with “They’d be better off supporting Walmart anyway.” So, in his way of thinking I guess we’d be better off supporting another company. Shame on this individual for being so rude to several small business owners.
