Means Construction is the epitome of a small business who genuinely cares about their clients! Whenever we have an issue (there hasn’t been many) they handle everything with a promptness that makes you feel like your concerns are valid and they’ll do what’s needed to make things right! I love being able to call or text Maria at the office with any requests or questions. If you’re looking for a small town feel and human connection, Means might be the right fit for you!

Means Construction, Allison and Jeremy Means are some of the most respectable and trustworthy people I've ever worked with. They built my house for me and it is even better than I could have imagined. They went above and beyond to answer any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. I am overjoyed by this experience!!!

Means Construction were the builder of our home. I could not be more pleased! They were very responsive and listened to what we wanted in our home. They offered ideas that I wouldn't have thought of that helped increase the value in our home. They were always available and very transparent in the process. They kept us informed so we knew what to expect and where we were in the process. We had never built a home before so having someone we could trust was important. I would use them again!!!

From start to finish, they exhibited professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to ensuring our satisfaction. Their team was friendly, approachable, and quick to address any concerns or questions we had. Their communication was excellent. They exceeded our expectations and we are grateful for the work they've done.

We are very disappointed with this builder. Poor very poor workman ship! Stay far away from them! They don't care about you or the houses they build! I promis you will regret!

I would not recommend Means Construction to anyone looking to build a house. They will screw you over every chance they get and sell your house out from underneath you with zero cares or concerns for paying back overages.

I am disappointed in this company, and disgusted by their lack of care about their customers. They have no integrity, and only care about their bottom line. I built a home with them from Dec 2020 until April 2021. The whole experience cost me a
a lot of time, money, and stress. I was eight months pregnant when we started the build, and had complications. I firmly believe it is because of the short deadline I received to make selections, which was right around my due date. I made some changes to my selection sheet, but it was within my window so I didn’t imagine there was any problems coming around the bend. I confirmed with my realtor that it was received and went about my day. The first big issue we had was when asked for a contract extension because appliances and lighting was behind, but it was in the home the whole time. During the extension ZERO work was being done on the home. They did not install the correct counters that I paid an upgrade for, and they did not use the correct selection sheet when installing gutters and put the wrong color on the house. I was upset about that, but was willing to overlook it and close on the house anyway. We had the inspection done as soon as we could and the appraisal was rolling, but the home was not finished entirely. We submitted paperwork asking them to complete the home, and an extension of a few weeks to get that done. I got no response, and was told by my realtor that I was being difficult. I am a disabled veteran, and have requested understanding because of my disabilities and even wrote a letter explaining that, but it did not stop us from losing the contract. Our home was sold from underneath us for $41,000 over what we agreed to in our contract. They returned my overages, but I still had to pay out of pocket $275 for the inspection. Thankfully the appraiser returned the $550, or we would have had to eat that cost as well. Since then, the market has exploded and my dream of being a home owner has been postponed. I wish I had built with a different company so I would be a home owner instead of a renter. I spent a lot of time planning my dream home, and knowing someone else will be living in it breaks my heart. I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I paid $275 for a horrible experience.
