Great people!

I almost never leave reviews, but I had a great experience with the pack in and pack out of my house after a water leak and subsequent repairs. The restoration company I was working with used Clarus as a subcontractor and they did a phenomenal job of safely moving my contents in and out. I have never used any type of moving or packing service before, so I didn’t know what or what not to expect with their services. Brittanie was so helpful and kind every step of the way and never made me feel like I was a nuisance or bother. The communication was so easy being able to text back and forth instead of dealing with multiple phone calls and emails when I was busy myself at work and was unable to be there in person. Out of all the sub-contractors that were used, this one by far was the best experience I had.

Had a housefire in November of 23, Clarus was there and meticulously packed my entire household and took it for restoration assessment. Everything came back cleaned, pressed and furniture was in great condition. Great customer service and people were polite, friendly and helpful Everything was billed to insurance which they handled so i could focus on other issues.

Clarus did a good job packing out our house and packing us back in. I loved that they took pictures of everything before packing so that when they unpacked they just pulled up the pictures and put everything back where it was before. They were very patient with me if I asked them to move or straighten a piece of furniture. They did get my mattress, mattress cover and bed skirt dirty, but they cleaned the mattress and bought me a new mattress cover and bed skirt with no argument whatsoever. One cake plate broke in the move and they immediately offered to replace it. They were easy to contact and Brittanie was especially great in replacing the bed items and getting someone out to clean the mattress. I highly recommend Clarus for your content packing.

This company was contracted to move the contents out of my home while repairs were being done due to a water pipe burst. They damaged some of my furniture during the move and they acknowledged they damaged it (I have a voice mail) and told me I would be reimbursed for the damage. I have called four times now about it and still have NOT been reimbursed (I don't see the point of calling a 5th time at this point). The last time I called about it, I was told a check would be cut the next day.....that was almost 3 weeks ago and I still have nothing. This issue is still NOT resolved after about 3 months!!

my landlord used this company to move me from a moldy flooding unit. They broke numerous items, they opened each and every box and tote. Every since box, tote, bed, couch, every single item was covered in a thick layer of dry wall and dust. Some how they managed to forget to clean the truck. I have severe allergy to mold and dust mites. My couch, my bed, my rugs, are all infested with dust mites. They busted my piano and tried to wood glue it back together. I have things missing. I walked to the truck and one of their employees was taking pictures of damaged things. When I asked about it she said the damage was already there. They failed to secure things in the truck causing a lot of damage. They dragged my couch and mattress on the ground leaving skid marks and ripping threads.
Only a month before they moved me I paid over $1,000 to have my piano, couch, and two rugs cleaned from flooding.
A piano expert is coming tomorrow Clarus is paying for it, as they should.
For a month I've spent every trying to get control of the dust mite infestation from their unclean truck.

I don't know why my landlord chose to use acompany in Murfreesboro when there are numerous reputable moving companies in Nashville. If you have a choice I would strongly suggest avoiding this company with your belongings. So many of my things are banged up. It would be easier to count what was not damaged than to count what was damaged.
If clarus shows up to move you expect most everything will be damaged and covered in dry wall, pet hair, and a thick layer of dust. If you have allergies don't let them near anything you own.

I have reached an agreement of $450 with clarus for the damage to my piano. They sent a most reputable piano expert to look at and provide the estimate to have it repaired. Thank you

Wish our experience with Clarus was better. They took advantage of us and of our insurance provider during the process but we did end up settling with all parties involved after calling them out on ‘misunderstandings’. Some furniture was returned with tears and scratches and a handful of items with mold/water damage. I do not recommend this business as their service is hit or miss.

Run away! We would give them 0 stars if it was possible.
Terrible experience all the way around. We had water damage in our kitchen and living room and hired them for pack-in/pack-out of our personal items so our floors could be redone. We met with them ahead of time to discuss where items would go, how they would be protected, what would be moved to a pod in the driveway, etc.

Upon returning home, they had only moved our sofas and a table to the pod, had completely neglected our clothes and shoes in the closets at the entryway and the bedroom, moved our bed, nightstands, mattresses into an open room with no doors, broke our countertops that were placed in the garage and didn't cover our gas range (moving it to an exposed area). Needless to say, after all the demo/sanding of the floors, we returned to our home with most of our personal possessions covered in dust.

Upon pack-in, they put the refrigerator door handles on backwards, set our bed up incorrectly (so it would have been broken), and scratched our wood front door when bringing the sofas back in.

After following up with them on these items, they denied everything, and could not explain why items were not covered and/or moved outside. They 'offered' to pay 1/2 of the cleaning bill if we sent them the invoice. Surprisingly, after sending it to them, we haven't heard anything. :)

Run far away. Much better to pay an actual moving company or a professional services team if you care about your personal items and want them taken care of.

Clarus came out and took stuff from our house to be cleaned after we had a house fire. They charged $30,000 to just clean my clothing and was gonna charge another $40,000 to clean a few pieces of furniture and a few other odds and ends. We called them and told them DO NOT clean the furniture after we found out how much they were charging, none of our stuff was worth that much! We could have just bought brand new items instead of them cleaning. They sent the furniture back to us uncleaned and they still charged our insurance $11,000 to bring back the items. The clothing was already cleaned by them and they sent back to us with smoke stains all over and damaged, but still they got $30,000 from insurance. Our furniture that was not cleaned was returned to us scratched up and broken glass, but they still basically stole $11,000 from our insurance after damaging our stuff. Our total bill from them was $41,000 for unclean and damaged stuff!!! They are CROOKS!!! If you have a house fire, just buy new stuff to replace what was smoked up! Do NOT use this company, they will rob your insurance and your hard earned money! After paying $41,000 we still had to pay to replace what ruined!!!

Would not recommend. We had a major leak and Clarus came out to remove contents so contractor could do repair work. They first brought a box truck to haul our contents away but we were told the contents was to be placed in container in driveway and not leave our property. They said it was a mix up with 2 locations and finally agreed, got the container in driveway, and put contents in that. When they came to put things back, they didnt care about the condition. I was home and they would look at me when they did something wrong to see if I noticed. Even when I did, they acted like they didnt do anything. They spilled things on the floor and made me clean it up. We had specific floor protectors under the piano and they got packed into a random box but they moved the piano back in without them. I had to argue for them to find them and put them under the piano before continuing to move it around and damage the brand new flooring. They took apart a breakfast nook and didnt put it back together well. When I sat on the end and started to scoot in, I heard something and the bolts holding it together fell on the floor. All around bad experience.
