Excellence and affordable service. I bought a house and the AC hadn’t been cleaned for months. They came out promptly and serviced the AC unit and checked all the duct work. Were honest and explained simply what I needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

After checking out reviews on local HVAC companies I called Josh at Hunt's Mechanical . He lived up to his 5 star reviews . I have an older unit that I'm trying to keep using a little while longer . Just had a great experience with Joshua Hunt with Hunt’s Mechincal. I was a first time customer, called him this morning, he was here within two hours and got me fixed in minutes, for a very reasonable price.

He is friendly, has a great attitude and provides honest feedback and work at fair prices. Had some good conversation as well for a few minutes; can’t beat the positive vibe!

Josh came out and immediately found the problem I had a leak in the coils of my HVAC I had been told by 3 other companies that it couldn't be fixed and I had to get a new HVAC. Josh said he would fix it and he had it working in less than an hour!!! He is great and very knowledgeable about his job, Very fair on price ,a honest repair man!!!

Once was a repair service on an extremely hot day and he showed up immediately.

The most recent was a remodel tweak improving our ductwork. I left a voicemail and got a reply quickly. He came the next morning and provided a quote the same day. I accepted. He kept good communication and showed up at the agreed time and completed the work quickly and correctly. Zero hassle.

I discovered Hunts Mechanical (Joshua Hunt) through our neighborhood Facebook group, where he received glowing recommendations. I reached out to him on a Sunday night to explain my situation, as I was leaving town at 4 AM the following day. He kindly offered to come to my house at 7 AM after my neighbor agreed to let him in. True to his word, he arrived on time, assessed the system, and identified the problem as faulty batteries within the thermostat unit. He went above and beyond by inspecting the rest of the unit as well. Joshua was not only kind but also honest; he did not charge me for what I initially thought was a more significant issue. Both my neighbor and I will undoubtedly turn to Hunts Mechanical again! What a reliable and trustworthy owner/technician!

Can't recommend Hunt's Mechanical enough! I had an issue with the capacitor on my unit in the Spring and Hunt's had it up and running in no time - after another local company failed to fix it. This time when the blower motor went out, I knew who to call. Josh, the owner, immediately answered and fit me into his schedule the same day. He diagnosed the issue and, again, had me up and running in no time. It can be challenging to find a reliable, fair, and honest company to repair big ticket items, but Hunt's checks those boxes. Josh communicates with his customers directly and does the work himself - a rarity these days. He gives an estimated time of arrival, lets you know when he's on his way, and gets the work done correctly and efficiently. If you need HVAC work in the Hermitage/Donelson or surrounding areas, I highly recommend giving Hunt's a call.

I had an emergency with my A/C unit in East Nashville. Hunts Mechanical came to my house the next morning (basically immediately) and had me fixed up within an hour. He was easy to communicate with, very professional, fast, quick response time, and fair rates.

I reached out to Hunts last night at midnight when my AC wasn't cooling properly (sweating in bed). Finally got to sleep and was delighted to wake up to a response this morning!

They were super responsive, made time to stop by and check out the issue faster than I could dream (today! but maybe I just got lucky :), diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes (low freon/pinhole in the condenser). The leak was super small, so we didn't spend a lot of time searching for it this go around (I have 6 years left on the warranty for the part, so spending a ton of money looking for the hole, only to have to spend more money to replace the condenser when it's still working... I liked this solution). Recharged for a very reasonable fee, and let me know to call if/as soon as the issue occurred again. He was there to help me fix a problem, and not try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I so appreciate that in a tradesperson!

I explained some other concerns I had with the heating and cooling in my house, and I felt very heard, and he gave excellent professional feedback. I'll most definitely call them anytime I have HVAC needs. Couldn't recommend them more!

Josh was so helpful when he came over to look at why our HVAC wasn't heating while it was freezing outside! He came over to our house same day we called about the issue and found what seemed to be a quick fix and got us up and running again.
I'll definitely be in touch again next time we need.

if you were looking for any HVAC needs, you will not be disappointed by using Hunt’s Mechanical. When I first called them and explained my air conditioner was not cooling, they responded in less than an hour. Once the problem was determined there was no upsell but just options. I ended up buying a new unit because of the age of the existing unit and I had shopped around previously in the event I had to replace this unit and by far Hunt’s Mechanical had the best price with an awesome unit and was able to install this unit in just a couple days. My strongest suggestion is not calling anyone other than Hunt’s Mechanical, you will thank me later.

Called Josh the day our HVAC stopped working, the hottest week of the year so far. He had his tech Steve over in about 2 hours and he fixed the issue very quickly. The price was so affordable and his team was extremely professional. I will be recommending them from here on out!

Hunt's will be my go-to for all my future repairs. They were quick, kind, and thorough. They were even good with my kid and my cat.

Hunt's was recommended by another local company that couldn't make it to my house in a heatwave; they came out the same day, answered all my questions, patiently explained everything to me, had to leave and come back because my unit needed to thaw, and were very reasonably priced.

Yesterday my development experienced a transformer blow and sent a power surge to my home causing my AC unit to stop working. Josh instantly responded to my post in our neighborhood page, and we got an appointment set up that night. He was on time this morning and found the cause of my units issues getting it corrected quickly. Id recommend Josh to anyone needing AC work, and Ill use him in the future for other work needed.
