Vision Building Group did a great job constructing the outdoor classroom at Oaklands Mansion. It's been over a year since the project was completed and the hard surfaces just keeps looking better as they age!

Keith Carey and his team at Vision Building Group are amazing, and we are so glad they were the general contractor selected to work on the buildout of our facility for our dance studio , Histown Dance and Performing Arts, in Franklin, TN. From the first phone call to the first time I met with them to assess the site and make a bid, through the entire process of the build-out, it was obvious we were in great hands having them take care of everything and manage the project for us. They are very detailed and thorough, ask lots of questions, provide a high level of communication and answers on a regular basis and do excellent work. They also mentioned on numerous occasions that it was their goal to provide us with the best value at the best price possible and they delivered on that promise as well.

One of things I noticed during the bidding process was that out of the handful of contractors we had come out to make a bid, VBG spent the most time on site doing their research and we had several follow up conversations to get more clarity on specific needs we had for our space. During the beginning of the process, I told my wife that I really hoped they had the lowest bid because I was so impressed with them and wanted to have in charge of our buildout. By the time the deadline was reached for everyone to submit their bids, I told my wife we needed to work with VBG whether they had the lowest bid or not because they were so honest and transparent about their work. As it would turn out, they also had the lowest bid. I believe one of the reasons for that was because they were so meticulous in estimating costs and didn’t need to inflate prices to cover anything they might have missed in their calculations like some of the other contractors might have done.

Every member of their team that I came in contact with were very professional, personable, honest and went out of their way on numerous occasions to help us get in our building as soon as possible the right way. Vision Building Group priced out their work fairly and make sure they only work with reputable sub-contractors. And they all back their work after the project was completed. And whenever something came up that was unexpected or needed, they worked expediently to come up with great, viable solutions to keep things moving forward. If you need an general contractor, you need to have a conversation with Vision Building Group first. Great company with the people, systems and resources in place to provide a high level of competency to get the job done right. Highly recommend!

Note: This review comes almost a year to the day that we moved into our new building and I feel just as strongly now about VBG as I did working with them during the buildout.
