The Result
He sealed our counter tops in no time. Smooth and even, cleaned the water spots first, and nothing sticky after the sealer.

We’ve had our floors cleaned in the past with uneven results. Everything Blain said would come up actually did. We had grout in the tiles since the construction, and it’s gone. We had dark grout from use, and it is now light and resealed.

We simply could not be happier with the results. This is a brand that you can trust, and I am confident recommending him to others.

We recently had Gold Standard Floor Care clean the tile int two bathrooms and a powder room. The improvement in the appearance of each room was striking, as if the tile had been newly installed. The pricing was very fair, especially in light of the time spent on the process and the wonderful result. Blain Haeg punctual, professional and very thorough. Blain was great! I thought there was no coming back from the etching and staining on my marble island top, or my kitchen counters, but they are beautiful now and the honed finish is remarkable. I had my tile and grout recently cleaned and am very pleased. The service is above and excellent! The owner has professional and courtesy business etiquette, where a reminder email is sent the day before and a call to let me know when he is on his way. He uses updated technology for payment. The tile is 25 years old and had never been professionally cleaned. I can see a cleaner grout where I see the color of the grout close to original color. While his price is higher than another that I used, I believe in 'you get what you pay for'. The cost is worth it because the service and delivery is exceptional. I will use his service(s) again.

I had a complicated situation with our tile floors— contractor had not wiped down tile in a timely manner and the result was a layer or grout haze, which had been very difficult to remove. Blain was able to recognize the issue and use the appropriate products for removal. He was so patient and polite with all of my questions and concerns. Blain did an amazing job on our floors which were badly etched and cloudy. Blain spent hours working on the floors until they were 100% perfect. It is obvious Blain takes great pride in his work and places the customer first. Moreover, there were no hidden charges, and he was on time, extremely clean, and very respectful of our house. Blain did an excellent job of cleaning and sealing the travertine and ceramic tile and grout in our two bathrooms and our laundry room. Our master bath walk in shower’s floor is poorly graded. There is always a pool of water that doesn’t drain, and our water is extremely hard. There was a heavy build up of calcium on the porous travertine tile floor. Blain tried all the usual chemicals and tried to sand it to little avail. After discussing the effects that it could have, I decided that he should use acid to remove as much of the calcium build up as possible. It’s not completely gone, but really close. At some point I’m going to have the shower floor remove and replaced with a properly graded one. Blain’s cleaning and sealing has given me a couple of years to do so.

Blain did an excellent job restoring my kitchen travertine floor! He did a multi-step process to clean the floor: vacuumed then did a multi-step diamond abrasive honing process to remove scratches, etch marks, and damage floor tiles. He restored the travertine to a high-gloss. The work took a day and a half to complete the job. I highly recommend utilizing Gold Standard to restore your stone flooring

I had the opportunity to use Blaine and his company on a recent project in Georgetown and was delighted with the results and so was the client! Blain did a terrific and very thorough job of explaining the pros and cons of cleaning and sealing our outdoor travertine. We chose to only seal a portion of our outside area and he did a terrific job of cleaning and sealing it. We have put him on the schedule for regular maintenance and look forward to working with him in the future.
