All reviews for Modern Pools

No one has a better eye for design and fit and finish then the team at Modern Pools !

We’ve worked with Modern Pools for years and have had the same, great service every time. We value their expertise and always feel that our clients are in good hands with them.

They did a great job on our design and were helpful through the whole process. In the end they had to go above and beyond to make sure the pool builder could translate the designs and they were very accommodating on this.

From the design to the finished product, Modern Pools, was on schedule and on budget, Quality and creativity that tied into our total home design. Highly recommended

Jan and Keli at Modern Pools are great to work with on pool design and construction. They are very knowledgeable, creative and competent.

We have worked with Keli and Jan for over a decade. There is no shortage of understanding, expertise, and experience between these two. More than once, they have helped take our project to the next level through design and through construction. Communications, management, and execution are always on point and on time. If you want your project done right let Modern do their thing.

Jan and Keli were amazing to work with! Gracious and smart and fun to be around. Their work is gorgeous!

I had Modern Pool design & build our pool and deck. Jan and Keli are extremely professional, produce very high quality craftsmanship and deeply care about customer satisfaction.

Jan and Keli are amazing. They built a beautiful pool for my business partner and have helped me trouble shoot my pool (which I chose the wrong builder for) and helped me with planning my next pool. I can tell you from choosing the WRONG builder, that these folks are perfectionist and know how to build a high quality, fantastic pool.

We've built several pools with Modern DB over the years. It's always a pleasure working with Jan, Jeff, Keli and the rest of their crews. TOP notch quality, customer service, communication, etc ... they're the full package. Highly recommend them.

There is no more beautiful, functional or well-built pool than a Modern pool. Jan knows more about pool design, technology, materials and implementation than anyone I have ever met. He and Keli manage their people and projects to their own exceptional standards. If you are OK with average, go somewhere else. If you want a pool that will make you the envy of your friends and show up in design magazines and Instagram, go with Modern.

Modern Pools built our pool a number of years ago. It was a great experience and we continue to use and love it everyday. As an architect, I will always recommend Modern Pools for every project that comes our way.

Modern Pools did a great job. They designed an in ground pool and spa and landscaping and the result is stunning. Mike Newman was our project manager and he was a total pro. He delivered the project faster than what was promised and on budget. He has a ton of experience and was knowledgeable, responsive, kind, respectful, and fast. It was a great experience and we would definitely use them again.

We hired Modern Pools to design our outdoor living space which included a pool, cabana and various patios. They interviewed us and designed the perfect space, which included a landscaping concept that was absolutely beautiful. Modern built the pool, board form concrete walls, decks and installed all of the landscaping and lighting. The carefully coordinated all of this with our AV consultant and the solution we achieved was everything we could've possibly imagined. The space is fantastic and it works exactly as intended. The quality is top notch and we're so proud of this space that we look for opportunities to host friends, family and events at our house. We would recommend Modern in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Modern Pools built our pool in 2004, and we have enjoyed it ever since. They have a unique and creative vision that we experienced on our project, as well as many others we have seen them do. They created a vision within our budget and time frame- what more can you ask for! Highly recommend Modern Pools to anyone looking for a custom pool design!

Our company, Crowell Builders, has worked with Modern Pools in the past and the end product was stunning. This will be my first experience with Modern, and so far its off to a great start. While I have interacted with Keli and Jeff, so far the majority of my interaction has been with the owner - Jan. Its great to have this direct line of communication. Jan is knowledgeable, presents a great product (past work, rendering, proposal, and permit drawings), and appreciated by all (us, architects and owner). We look forward to implementing their beautify design over the next year. Sincerely, Jack

I have done the excavation for Modern Pool Co for many years and it has been a pleasure to work with them. They are great responsible people and in the many times that I have worked with them I have really enjoyed it. The designs that Modern Pool has to offer are always incredible and if you want to build your dream pool I really recommend Modern Pool Co.

Jan, Mike and everyone at Modern Pools have been so great to work with. Their communication and workmanship are of the highest caliber and I definitely look forward to working with them on the next project.

Modern Pools is the go-to in Austin for pool design + build if you're looking for an incredible aesthetic, high-touch customer service, and a top quality result. You'll love their team as much as you love your pool!

They listened carefully to how we wanted our pool to be enjoyed by our grandchildren, adult children and ourselves as empty nesters and came up with a design that meets everyone’s needs. From a single photo of a hiking spot near here, they designed an exquisite patio, pool, and water features that look like part of the natural Hill Country landscape. Modern handled all the approval details with the various city and county agencies for us. Mike was our contractor and was onsite daily with a high quality crew. He was always meticulous, consistent, and on time; and he was fun to see and talk to every day. His onsite design suggestions enhanced the original design vision as went through the hands on construction process. Follow up and pool maintenance services two years post construction continue to be immediately responsive and provide excellent service. This company is a TEN.
