I would highly recommend Honeycutt Air Conditioning. I own an old home built in 1928 that had an HVAC system installed about 1990. Honeycutt replaced the entire system with a Trane XL18i Two Stage system with gas furnace downstairs with a Mitsubishi Ductless Mini-Split system for the upstairs. This included fixing the many deficiencies in the duct system, installing a Trane Clean Effects electrostatic air filter and Trane XL824 Nexia compatible control.

Steve, the owner, came out, specified and quoted the system. His recommendations aligned with my prior research, especially on the advantage of using a Mini-Split for the upstairs rather than expecting the main unit to service both floors. The install team worked well together and kept the work area cleaner than when they started.

Please give these folks a try. Many negative reviews that you find on the web for any service provider often do not hold up to close inspection, so I usually dismiss them unless there is a common thread across many different reviewers. This company is customer focused and I am sure you would have a positive experience with them.

Installed a Trane 4 Ton A/C w/programmable thermostat to replace a unit that was 15+ years old. I was given a ballpark estimate over the phone & installers were curteous, professional and answered any questions I had. They also cut and placed an additional duct in our kitchen since there was only one. This was done because I asked for it. When they were finished I did not see any trash or scraps or any evidence of the old unit. The bill that I received was for the estimated amount. I am very pleased with my experience with this company!

Steve and his crew, are, according to me, the best a/c company in Austin and four surrounding counties, period. Great service, new home installation, the best. I've been a builder for 40+ years. I know quality, and that's Honeycutt a/c.

What can I say about this company? The service/installation teams knows what they’re doing and get it done quick, the price was fair, the timeframe was perfect, and the people are great. The Honeycutt’s are a great family and business! They will continue being my go to for A/C work!

These folks are awesome! Several years ago we had lots of issues with another company and Honeycutt, Steve & Spencer and their team fixed everything! They have been our team since and continue the great service! Kevin, their office folks are just totally on the ball! Would highly recommend them!
