My AC broken down right when theTexas Summer heat was kicking into high gear and I needed a brand new unit, within hours I had a brand new unit and we were back in the cool air, I can’t tell you how happy we were! We started using Calahan Construction & Air’s service probably for 5 years, had a AC unit replaced, used their maintenance plan as well, small fixes to the system some years. The owner always answers his phone or text, it was easy to set up appointments.

Our very old ac unit suddenly gave out and a friend gave me the information for this company. Stacy was very friendly and helpful, asked me intelligent questions to get an idea of what kind of new unit I needed for an accurate quote - whereas everyone else I talked to either gave me huge ballpark ranges or insisted they needed to see the house to make any determination, and some trying to say I needed a larger unit than was necessary. (Google is your friend, it pays to double check information given to you). His team did an amazing job dealing with the oddball setup of my house, having to make several modifications to get the system setup to work with the odd specifications. After they finished installing my new system and left for the day, the system kept cycling off, and when I messaged Stacy to ask if that was normal (never had a new unit before 😅) he immediately sent one of the guys back to check it, which I was pleasantly surprised by as it was late in the day. (Not on them, the safe t switch was apparently accidentally triggering, as it stopped doing so once it was pulled out and put back in). I 100% recommend giving this company a chance to help you out with your AC needs, and will be calling them again when I’m ready to do some construction work!

I am so grateful for these guys! I have had issues with my ac for 4 years now and this is the first company that fully diagnosed what the issue actually was and gave me options for repair and/or replacement! They were very quick in getting me an appointment, on time and very professional, friendly and genuine. I have for sure found the ac company I will use from now on.

I have used Stacy and his company on several occasions. The first time was in the middle of winter, we’d returned at midnight from a trip. It was 22 degrees and we discovered a broken heater. I looked on Angie’s List and found Calahan Construction and Air. I called the next morning early and he showed up within 30 minutes and fixed our heater. Last night we were feeling rather warm for having the A/C on. We placed a call at 9 pm. We thought we’d be leaving a message but Stacy answered. He was here at 8 am, diagnosed a unfixable unit and installed a new one today. We are customers for life!
